I tried a BBL photo facial at Dvida Spa for dark spot and skin redness. After the first few sessions my permanent sun damage and pigmentation completely went away. The skin has less capillars and acne spots are faded, overall my skin is toned and lifted, and younger looking. I started to get compliments on my skin

I’ve never been the type of person who invested in skin care products, but I have now been to Dvida twice and really love the results of dermaplane + hydro facial. It is expensive (no matter where you go it’s pricey), but my skin immediately looks and feels healthier when I walk out the door. Olga does a fantastic job!

The spa was located in an easily accessible area. The receptionist upstairs was friendly. The spa was clean. Check-in was handled efficiently. Last but not least, Veronica seemed very knowledgeable. Thank God for Olga she saved my face (lol a little melodramatic but im serious she did!) I bought a Groupon for dermalplaning, so I can have a smoother makeup application for my wedding on a Saturday.for some reason (wedding planning stress) my face started breaking out like crazy the Wednesday before the wedding.I went in for my appt the Thursday before and Olga did EVERYTHING possible to make sure my face wasnt as bumpy on for my wedding....I ended up doing the oxygen infusion thing and light therapy...the light therapy worked like magic! THANK YOU Olga!

I have seen Olga many times. She is so dedicated to the art of her work. Her thoroughness and attention to detail ensure the best treatment you could possibly get. She puts her clients first and it shows in all of her work. I would highly recommend DVida and especially Olga her skill set is invaluable.

I have not personally been here but am leaving this review as a post of caution. If you go through the reviews and do research, you will find most of the positive reviews seem to be unrealistic. You can see previous reviews from these people and most of them clearly live in Canada. I am not saying this business is poor but I am extremely concerned as to why so many people who leave reviews are also leaving reviews for businesses in Canada. I would be interested in hearing back from the company about this. It’s not a typical coincidence to see so many consumers from Canada, especially during a pandemic.

Veronica is the best! Everyone here is friendly and professional and always put me at ease. All the estheticians have excellent knowledge and are very good at what they do!

I could not be happier with my Botox done by Tina! She was absolutely amazing. I’ve done Botox once before but the result was minimal. Tina however knew exactly what she was doing, took the time to explain and educate me. I didn’t need a lot so I wasn’t sure how much of a difference I would actually see. The difference is subtle and natural enough that I look like myself, but enough for friends and family of mine to tell me I look great but can’t quite put their finger on why until I tell them I had Botox. If you are looking for an NP who is highly qualified, Tina is highly recommend

I am posting this review to dispute what the latest person, E I, said. I am the client she is referring to in her completely off base critical review; I am the one who walked out of the treatment room during the start of her embarrassing rant. I have skimmed her novel of a post but have paused to write mine since you can not reason with crazy and everything Im seeing is either a lie or completely misconstrued.Here is the real story: I got Botox and lip filler today for the first time. I was incredibly nervous. I got to my appointment on time and was careful to keep my mask on and sit patiently until someone came out into the lobby area. I had my treatment(s) and Kristine was patient with me and answered all of my questions to ensure I was comfortable. It was a phenomenal experience. When we wrapped up, I left the room and entered the lobby, where the argument (i.e. a woman yelling at the receptionist) from the previous review occurred. Of the four people involved, I (in addition to the woman upset) was the only one who raised my voice. Kristine and the receptionist never acted aggressively or tried to be argumentative. Here is a summary of why the woman in the lobby/the previous person who posted was so mad:(a) No one greeted her instantly when she arrived 15 minutes early. No one greeted her enthusiastically for another 25 minutes after she showed up, which would be about 5-10 minutes max after her appointment start time. Pandemic or not, this is not a reason to freak out.(b) Curve ball complaint of being asked to sign a COVID consent form, and double curve ball, accusing the nurse and receptionist of not having to do it themselves. Consent forms are basic, and it is senseless to argue with a business about signing one of these. Consent forms are a means for you to opt in or out. If you have a problem with consenting you can simply not sign the form and leave.This is, of course, an incredibly challenging time for most people unless youre living under a rock and life hasnt changed for you in 2020. As consumers, we are fortunate to have medspa or spa services done -period- given the current climate; the owners, employees, practitioners etc. of the establishments facilitating said services are opening their doors after months of being shutdown -- with, in some cases, little to no stability of their future given the enormous strain on businesses in the service industry. They are risking their own health and safety to not only earn a living, but to give people like you and me treatments that may end up being the one thing that makes us happy during an otherwise - lets call it challenging again - time.***To E I, the person who posted before me:: How dare you go about your day making elective appointments with zero flexibility to your arrogant perception of what youre entitled to? You should be ashamed of yourself.*******To anyone reading:: PLEASE do not take her review to heart.***It is our social responsibility to support one another unless there is a real reason to complain. If you’re not comfortable signing a consent form (or doing anything that’s being requested of you to help businesses meet health requirements and keep their doors open), I beg you to exercise your right to get up and leave. Dont post false accusations online that could mislead others. Your words affect people.

Ive been wanting to get a hair removal treatment but was really scared because of my skin type. I have a darker skin and was scared of possible reaction from the laser as what Ive seen online. A friend of mine recommended this clinic and when I finally did a consultation, they explained the different laser machines they use for different skin type. I am now on my 3rd and this is definitely life changing.

I had an appointment at 4pm with Kristine. Ive been to this place twice before the pandemic. Great service! I waited a while before I decided it might be safe to go back for a treatment. Today, I arrived 15min early. No one was around at the desk. The food delivery guy came a little bit before 4...no one was still there. I could hear people in the back. So, at around 4:10 a lady came very casually asked my name. No acknowledgement as to how long its passed my appointment. I mentioned that I had been waiting for 25min. She didnt acknowledge or empathize instead she asked what time was your appointment implying its not their problem that I showed up early. At this point, I was annoyed for being literally undermined. I said that someone could have acknowledged and told me itd take longer than usual. She went on that the nurse was still with the patient. Heres when things started going south for me:She continued that they were short-staffed, as the owner had asked the staff to take the Covid test. I asked if that was something they had to do on a regular basis to which she responded yes. At this point, I had suspected something was not right. She asked me if I wanted to find out how long more I had to wait. She went to Kristine and came back to tell me it’d take 10-15min longer. I agreed to stay longer. Meanwhile, she gave a tablet to sign a Covid statement basically saying that I didn’t have any symptoms and that I understood between the lines I was doing it at my own risk. I was still alert about her comment about staffs covid test. I decided that I was not going to sign the paper. At this point, the nurse and her client came out. She said that the delay was due to her fault but I had to sign the statement in order to receive service to which I responded even in the hospitals they wouldn’t make you sign such a thing. She told me that I had to disclose if I had Covid to which I replied how about you? She started getting loud and nasty and lecturing me on the pandemic, where she suddenly mentioned that the reason for the long wait and short-staffed situation was due to an employee who had tested positive. Now the rest had to take the test!!!! I was furious at this point. They kept me hanging until 4:28 to finally break it to me that someone had covid in their facility. They wanted me to understand their situation while even as service providers they weren’t honest and they didn’t initially disclose that they were exposed and whether I wanted to continue my treatment or not!!! This is absolutely unacceptable! Your staff want me to feel bad for them while they have me around unapologetically for 40min without being honest about their Covid exposure. I should have left right away when the girl told me that the owner wanted the staff to test. You should close your facility! You are liable. You should have called me earlier today to notify me and give me a choice as for whether I wanted to be exposed or not!!!

I wish I could give more stars! I love Dvida spa. Everyone is amazing. From the front desk woman who always makes scheduling and payment easy to the service professionals, everything is top notch.I have had three massages with Nina and every single time, I walk away saying, wow that was the best massage of my life! I have had massages at the chains (Massage Envy / Elements), at random small places from groupon, and at five star resorts. Nina is hands down the best.Diana and Olga have been amazing for facials as well. Always attentive, tell me what they are doing, and make sure I get what I need!

I recently visited Dvidia for a facial treatment before my wedding. I was a bit nervous going in, as I have oily skin prone to breaking out and our wedding was only a few days away, but Kayla D. really took care of me. She didnt do any harsh chemical treatments and used the right products that left me looking fresh with clear skin that lasted for a whole month! I had an oxygen facial, and it was the worst experience I have encountered. The esthetician didn’t seem to know what she was doing, and kept trying to add procedures on, while performing what they called an “oxygen” facial. I could of washed my face, and put my own mask on! There was no oxygen part about it! The level of professionalism and knowledge is severely lacking at this place!

I cannot say enough about Dvida Spa! I have been getting facials here for 6 months now and my skin has truly transformed. I was in Chicago for work for 6 months and wanted to try dermaplane and a hydrafacial after the winter had subsided. I had done my fair share of research through word of mouth, Yelp, Google, etc about the various facilities within the city. I randomly stumbled upon a Groupon for Dvida and they were offering a special for either two dermaplane sessions, two chemical peel sessions, or one of each. The deal was too hard to pass up on and I saw the facility offered Hydrafacials for an inexpensive cost as well so I decided why not. I met with Luda and had her thoroughly examine my skin and judge what was best for me. I had dryness along with previous acne scarring and sunspots. Overall, I wanted to improve and brighten my complexion to where I wouldn’t have to wear makeup often. I secretly just wanted my esthetician’s Beautiful skin haha We went with one chemical peel (PCA peel) and then 6 weeks later come back for the dermaplane session and Hydrafacial. Luda was great at explaining key benefits and tips throughout my treatments. I learned a lot about skincare in general as well as what to do and not do with my own skin which I still follow. Luda is incredibly knowledgeable in her field but takes her time with you individually and takes pride in her work. Her soothing voice is a bonus during a facial! Definitely a 5 star experience for me throughout my time in the city!

I’ve been a loyal client of Dvida Spa for more than a year now and always counting the days till my next appointment. Lyuda has done a great job with helping me control my hyperpigmentation. I’ve done a series of chemical peels followed by Clear and Brilliant, which I think is the best treatment you can get if you have problems with melasma like I do. DVida spa is my must go place every time I come to visit Chicago. I had various treatments there, from Hydrafacial to CoolSculpting, and I love the quality of services. Diana is an amazing esthetician, and I love the atmosphere she created at the spa.

I got married on 8/4 and specifically requested Kayla for my hydrafacial and dermaplaning. She was absolutely AMAZING. She did such a fantastic job, that I brought my entire family and groom to her for facials before the wedding. My (and my husbands) skin was so visibly clear that many guests came up to us during my rehearsal dinner and complimented our skin - they were shocked when I said I wasn’t wearing any makeup! Additionally, on my wedding day, my makeup went on very smoothly because of the dermaplaning. We took pictures for 3 hours in 100 degree weather, and my skin still looked flawless because of the work Kayla did. In fact, for the weeks following the wedding, my skin was *glowing.* I could not recommend her more highly for any service you need. She is highly skilled and clearly loves what she does! I have searched high and low throughout Chicago for a place that could help address another troubling outbreak with rosacea. Dianas expertise returned my face to normal. She is careful, detailed, and thoughtful. I tried other places with IPL, but none of them lived up to my dermatologists treatments-that is, until I found Dvida and Diana. I just love this place.I did laser hair removal on my legs .The girls are very knowledgeable and very professional.I didnt try they other services yet,but after this experience i definitely will stop by for facial or a massage .
