Hands down the best stylist and colorists in Chicago, Michele is a Master at his trade. He provides the highest quality services and uses the great products for color. I get stopped on the street by strangers often asking who did my highlights and color, your hair looks so healthy, etc. it is all accredited to Michele. Before I found Michele, I tried every expensive salon in Chicago. I adore Artista, no other place came close to the level of care and detail Michele puts into my cut, color and highlights.He is the best kept secret in Chicago!

I must say my experience at Artista has been a fantastic one.I’ve had long hair for a long time, a specific length and it must stay that way.Michel listened to me, and I may have explained more than needed, because this man knows exactly what he’s doing anyway. I wanted a choppy look to the second layer of my hair, more “texturized look”, a little trim to my bangs, and so easily he did that without washing or wetting my hair at all, and it was perfect!Typically if someone saw the way he cut my hair, they would be really scared.. because it’s not a regular hair cut it’s like a special technique that I believe only someone who’s been in the industry for over 10 years can do, and or have the confident with, also for me to continue to trust, that’s Because I feel, our hair is our face or even our confidence.I will continue with Artista not only cause of the quality, but so much of Michel’s authenticity,.. how kind he is naturally. It’s the type of energy you want to be surrounded by and esp while one is bringing your hair back to life. ;)
