Highly recommend this salon. Professional, friendly service. I was in Chicago for a wedding and stayed at the Pendry hotel. This salon was conveniently located across the street from the hotel. I was in & out in 30 minutes and received so many compliments on my hair. Would absolutely visit again!

The greatest salon to go to if you want to get your nails done. The employees looked after me and gave excellent service, for which I am grateful. Finding a salon that makes you feel at ease and fulfills your desires is really difficult. Their work exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. Ive never regretted choosing them because Ive been quite happy with them.

They were absolutely amazing! I went in with an idea of what I wanted, and rather telling me everything will be perfect and no problem. My natural hair is thick, damaged and with dark red its stubborn with taking colors. But with this salon and their staff I had successfully done Smokey gray today and they were able to bring it to this beautiful color. Moreover, when I got my hair first done my hair actually got a lot healthier instead of the other way around. The prices is fair and worth it. Im very happy with my new hair and the way it turned out!

Got my legs waxed here for the first time and left happy and satisfied. My tech was friendly and gentle while waxing and I didnt feel hurt at all. The result turned out great and my legs felt so smooth again. Great pricing!

Ask for DEVON. I have been going to Devon for some time now, and he is a great guy. He is a great stylist, and I always feel like I got my moneys worth. He not only remembers my name, but he remembers the personal things going on in my life that we chat about while Im in the chair. That goes a long way. Im usually the type of person who likes to get a haircut with my eyes and mouth shut. I usually hate being interviewed while getting my hair cut. I betrayed him once and got my haircut at Salon 333.....boy was that a mistake! They gave me one seriously messed up haircut. I went straight over and saw Devon and he fixed me up. Everyone there is really nice, and they all take good care of me. I highly recommend this salon, and especially Devon.

This one is a fantastic hair salon. They had the best services with professional barbers. With professional service, their prices were really worth money and time. I was really happy with their services. Moreover, they had plenty of colors to choose from. The salon was also really clean. They cleaned up everything after every customer. Even though I read the review of the receptionist being very rude. I would rather people comment on how well the stylist did on their hair. An they did a wonderful job on my hair. From, giving my scalp the greatest massage, ever! I felt so relaxed in my chair. The stylist which I dont remember her name she took her time to make me look edgy but sweet. She also recommend a few tips on my dry scalp. Which is really helpful, Thank you.Also, I had got my eyebrows and lips waxed there as well. An the employee who did that was so gentile! I didnt feel any pain at all, and she really took her time to make me look fabulous.Even so, the store looks amazing (if you look at my pictures)! Just a WONDERFUL decor, it feel really relaxing and comfortable.Other, than the receptionist giving the bad place a rep. I would give the stylist a chance to give a wonderful hair do. Clean and cut. I really like this salon. The interior is very nice and relaxing I really enjoyed the service. The ladies here are a blast. We had such nice funny conversations, and they really value client confidentiality. I really love how I got my manicure done. It was shaped perfectly and the paint was on the target, ladies. Mid September of 2013, I got bored of my long hair and decided to chop it off, plus I had split ends. I got the promotion thing on State street. I negotiated my way into paying $20 for a haircut, plus free eyebrow wax and 50% off my second haircut among other things. I absolutely loved the customer service they offered. Effie was so nice and supportive especially since I was going through a big change from really long hair to very short hair. Will definitely be going back.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly! They even call to give you a reminder just in case. The atmosphere is welcoming, good music and no smell at all. I am very sensitive to chemicals and they let me bring in my own dye. Unfortunately it didnt quite work. My hair stylist in this day was really great about it though and suggested a patch test with their ammonia free brand. It worked out great!! I didnt even get a headache and the cut and color came out wonderful :) I look forward to my next visit!

I had a great experience here. People were very nice and treated me with great care. They were patient with the design I asked for and the price was well worth it. Definitely be coming back!

It was good (but not amazing) until the end. Good cut and style by Colin. What really brings my review down is how they handled the tip. You cant tip on your credit card without incurring an extra charge. When I said I had no cash, they let me do it without said extra fee, but it came with a guilt trip and they just made me feel stupid. Come on Anna George, everything is digital these days. That you expect a cash-only tip just makes you look antiquated and unaccomodating. I ended up going to this salon because of a promo I bought, but I doubt I would go just because. Pretty expensive for what I considered to be a good, but not amazing, experience. There are a lot of salons in this city. Find one that makes you feel special, not like a misbehaving child.

I went in for a simple up do and got a mani-pedi to prepare for a wedding I was attending. Staff was friendly and took very good care of me. The nail techs even helped me pick the appropriate polish color to accommodate my dress. Prices were very reasonable considering that its in downtown Chicago.

This is the place you should come if you want a nice haircut! I didnt really have anything in my mind so I asked them to just do whatever and surprisingly my hair looks so pretty! Very trendy with the lob! I love it

I had booked a mani, pedi and wax at the spa at the hotel where my wedding was taking place. I had booked services for a Friday and my wedding was the next day. When I arrived the spa has no record of my reservation. The concierge at the hotel suggested Anna George to me. The services were high quality and affordable. My regular mani lasted for two weeks in the sand and sun on my honeymoon. The ladies were very friendly and professional and many have been working there for many, many years. Loyal employees say a lot about a place. Highly suggest this place!

Got my haircut here today and it was an amazing experience. My stylist was friendly and made great conversation with me while cutting my hair. The price was fair and the atmosphere was relaxing.

I havent been to the salon for a styling appointment yet, but Im having a hard time scheduling an appointment. When I spoke to one woman on the phone, she said shed call back if anyone cancelled on the day that I requested the appointment instead of trying to work with other times or days in my schedule. Ive tried to call after hours to leave a message with an update, but theres no answering machine to make it possible to contact them outside of opening hours. Ill update this review after my appointment, but theirs seems like a poorly planned way to schedule business.

I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Ivana for the last two years and many more to come. I have a natural dirty blonde color and she highlights it perfectly so it still looks natural. The prices here are also way more reasonable than most similar salons in Chicago.

I got a mani, pedi, and an updo at this salon and I LOVED the quality of care I received at this place. For downtown Chicago, the prices were VERY reasonable. The nail techs even gave me some advice on how to do my makeup for the wedding I was attending that day.

Like many others who have had traumatic experiences with stylists, I was reluctant to take a chance with a new stylist however it was the best decision I made. I am so grateful to have found Anna George Hair Salon! A former salon not only ruined my beautiful blonde highlights but also ruined the extensions I purchased for a special event. The lady listened to my concerns and assured me she could safely restore my beautiful light blonde color as well as correct the horrible color job on my extensions. I was amazed! she did an amazing job and I have never been happier with my color! I wont go anywhere else.

Ive been here twice now; my first experience was fine, but my latest one was awful. The ladies at the front desk were SO rude when I came in and told them I had an appointment to get my no chip removed. They acted disgusted that I wasnt getting a manicure too. I was then drilled with questions by the manicurist about the polish I had. She told me I would have to pay for a full manicure if I wanted my nails filed down (um, seriously?? Ill go buy a file at CVS, thanks!). Then, I was charged more because the polish I had wasnt a brand they carried. Even if you work in the building, I highly recommend you go across the street to avoid the horrible customer service.

My experience was so great, they made my hair alive again, I felt like I was brand new one once they were finished with me, they are awesome.

I love my hair so much. My hair was damaged and Im so embarrassed with my hair...but the stylist understand my hair situation and she helps me create what I wanted my hair to be...I will see you soon.

The facial and massage services are awesome

They were running late by 20min looking after myself and my mom to get updos for a wedding (I had made an appointment for an hour knowing that to do a proper secure updo you need an hour), in the end my updo began to fall apart an hour after we had left the salon and had to re-pin it before going to the reception and my mom ended up having to re-curl parts of her hair as the curls fell out.

Amanda did a horrible job on my hair! I ended up going home and applied a black hair dye box to my hair, the same day! I just couldnt tolerate how ugly she made my hair look. I asked for a balayge, and she did thin highlights from my roots, so disappointed for the amount of money I had to pay compared to the low quality attention and service I was given! Not to mention, the male receptionist is rude and discriminated me.

This place is awesome--and all of these girls ROCK! Plus the kicker, which is the fact that its not overpriced and doesnt mess around with all the gimmicky nonsense you find at most of these other branded shops.First of all, I was shocked by how big this place is and they sell several lines of product. The location itself is pretty badass, too. You could probably kill a few birds with one stone in this complex if youve got some other errands to run. But back to the size of the place--as a dude, Im a passerby to most of whats in there, but ladies you could probably bring 20 of your friends and I still dont think theyd have capacity constraints for your girls-day-out even within their normal course of business.As for the specifics of my visit--I needed a last minute cut in freezing-cold February, called 10 minutes before close as a walk-in, and they were completely accomodating to me. I showed up 10 minutes late and got one of the best hair cuts of my life in record time. Beyond that, Lily is the first beautician to style my hair with product without me having to touch it afterwards. I was shocked, because everytime I leave any other salon I walk out with some dumb looking faux-hawk or style job that would make you think Im trying out for reality TV, so props to Lily for proving to me that Im not the crazy one!They kept a handful of other staff on hand while I was there because I hadnt had my brows cleaned up in a couple of months, so they took care of those too and we all sat around shooting the breeze with nobody acting anxious or in a rush to get out of there despite me being late.Given the positive experience up until that point, I probably would have paid any price when I got to register, and I was shocked when they told me what I owed, which was the icing on the cake! I couldnt believe it! Anna George has won my business so long as I am in Chicago!Thanks, girls! Ill look forward to my next cut!
