Excellent experience here. Scheduled a birthday surprise for my hubby and he LOVED IT. Staff worked with me in advance to easily schedule the spa day we hoped for. Complete relaxation and peace. Masseuses we phenomenal as were the facials, natural products. Great vibe overall. Will definitely be back.

Allyu Spa was absolutely perfect. I got a lash lift, brow tint and a fantastic deep tissue massage. My lashes are pretty long so I didn’t really see much of a difference the first day, it wasn’t until a couple of days after I noticed how long it was, especially after applying mascara. My masseuse was amazing think I feel asleep a little. I’ll definitely be back!

Had a relaxing personal spa day while the husband was out of town. Reasonably priced (package deal includes gratuity), great deep tissue massage, attentive service, and very clean environment. I do wish they had the option to serve tea or hot water though.

I was very happy with our overall experience and can’t wait to return. I did my research re: local massage options (as we were traveling from Milwaukee) and very glad to have found Allyu. Their environment was very calming/relaxing (eastern Asian/zen vibe) and they set the mood even further by giving you spa sandals before your treatment and a robe after. Their staff were very welcoming and added to the relaxed environment. We enjoyed a couples massage (Francois was great!) and finished with complimentary showers which I highly recommend (they provide the products, towels, hairdryer etc…), you just have to ask for a shower when you’re booking your service as they are limited availability (so worth it!). I also enjoyed aromatherapy during my massage at no additional cost which was great. My therapist focused on the areas I needed and I walked out feeling very relaxed with much less tension. My only suggestion would be to ask clients if theres any areas they dont want touched. I always recommend voicing your requests/concerns up front/areas you want or don’t want since the intake form doesn’t always cover everything. After the showers we got to enjoy time in the relaxation tent which was nice; not many places have something like that and allowed us to extend our time there. I can’t wait to re-visit for more services/enjoy more of a spa day. It’s definitely an environment I could spend all day in.

I had decided I needed a spa day and just so happened to find this place, and I am so glad I did! Super clean and relaxing environment, the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Kim and Cindy took exceptional care of me. I will 1000% be going back and recommending Allyu to all my friends!

Incense was so strong walking in and my massage included short fast strokes...wasnt too relaxing. While my room was quiet, the general atmosphere was decent (I like a quieter vibe upon arrival).

Came to Chicago for valentines and getting spas were apart of what I scheduled for Mr. and I. Allyu did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, we were treated as if we were the only ones in the spa. Chris did my massage and was amazing! I cannot think of the black women who did his but he said she was amazing as well. Overall, it was a great start to our time in Chicago. Will definitely go back!!!

The Space:When you enter Allyu Spa your mind and body are immediately encouraged to relax. I loved how every part of the space (lobby, bathroom, shower rooms, etc) had a cohesive aesthetic.Covid:All employees wore fitted masks and wore them correctly. There were air purifiers in every room I went into. They appeared to follow every guideline and went above and beyond to make it a safe experience.Treatments:I booked a scrub and scalp treatment, followed by a massage. I didn’t expect to love the scrub and scalp massage SO MUCH. I fell asleep during the scalp massage, which proves how relaxed I was. I can’t fall asleep easily anywhere. Nicole made it an amazing experience. I will definitely be returningOverall:I’ve been blessed to visit a lot of spas all around the world. The experience at Allyu, from start to finish, is marvelous. I was so relaxed. The price point is spot on.I would highly encourage you to make this your go to spa in Chicago.

Beautiful, zen, immediately calming space. Got a great massage, shower time, and chakra balance.Only qualms were that I wish I had a little bit more downtime in between sessions and was offered some tea or water after my massage in the waiting room. I have NO complaints about this place! It’s a full experience from beginning to end. I do wish there was some sort of pool/hot tub I’m not sure if they had it but I didn’t want to leave. I got my manicure and pedicure by Connie and she was literally the best nail tech I’ve had to date! She was very attentive and took her time ensuring everything was perfect. My massage/chakra balance performed by Amanda was AMAZING. She knew so much about me without me telling her and was able to get a lot of kinks out of my shoulders and back—Honestly I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s a little far from my home but I am willing to travel for this every month if need be. I highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Allyu Spa. I was given a gift certificate around the holidays and finally booked the service. I felt the staff was quite pleasant and professional. The overall ambiance of the space and meditation room was very inviting and peaceful. When it came to the massage treatment itself, it was not only relaxing but effective in the overall healing of some very sore muscles the therapist concentrated of from a prior injury. I plan on going back to Allyu in the near future!

I loved the atmosphere...but i’m very sad to say that I did not enjoy a few things . I booked the couple’s massage for my fiancé and I and I enjoyed everything up until the massage. The masseuse of my fiancé seemed very nice and professional, but my personal masseuse seemed a bit hesitant and inexperienced. My massage actually HURT and I felt more sore than relaxed. Afterwards, we both were scheduled for pedicures. There was only one tech (which is okay, they let us know prior over the phone) , but I didn’t even end up getting a pedicure because it was and “up charge” to remove the gel polish on my toes and the package was already 440. So I ended up leaving, pretty upset that my money was wasted in some areas . The sauna and shower room is nice though .

Just walking through the entrance you feel a sense of calm, peace and relaxation. From my massage, to my mani/pedi - I had a wonderful experience and I SO needed it! I just had my second child and getting these wonderful services, with their wonderful staff and the serenity of this space is like no other spa Ive ever been to! Ill definitely be back :-)

Really liked the massage and facial. Both specialists were great. But was very not impressed with the pedicure and manicure, below average experience and quality. Would absolutely skip that service at that place. The facial products are just OK, not many options for the anti-age treatments.

I was tasked with booking a spa retreat for my workplace here and I am so glad I did!! My first experience with a spa and I wish I could do it every day. Nothing but smiles on the staff when we arrived. The correspondence beforehand with Regina the event coordinator was smooth and she was very patient with all my questions. We had a large group that Allyu was able to schedule and manage, even down to the personal preferences of each person. My practitioner was Jake and he is phenomenal (no exaggeration). I know everyone else in our group appreciated their experience as much as I did. Hopefully be able to visit again very soon :)

Excellent! My husband booked a massage, scalp massage and shower for my birthday. I am always skeptical being super picky and critical with massage therapists BUT was blown away. From the moment I entered the building, I was treated with 5-star service. Everyone is extremely kind, gracious and inviting. The relaxation tent was a great place to start my day. I was greeted by Leah for my massage and scalp massage. She listened to all of my needs and the massage was FANTASTIC! She addressed all of my back tension with great pressure and strokes. Was able to take a shower and get ready for the rest of my day. Check out was excellent as well! Loved the overall experience and will come back. Everything exceeded my expectations (which is hard to do)!

I was lucky enough to spend an entire day at Allyu Spa, and it was such an amazing experience. The ambiance creates an immediate sense of relaxation, and all employees add that low-key vibe. The music, the lighting, the scent in the air- its everything you imagine a day spa should be. I had a facial, manicure, pedicure, massage, body wrap, and an infrared sauna session- they were all wonderful experiences! All of the technicians were very professional and offered suggestions, recommendations, and made sure to make me feel comfortable. The relaxation tent was awesome, as well! I cannot wait to return!

It was a lovely, relaxing afternoon. I had a massage, facial, and spa pedicure, and each person was great! The only thing I think you should consider would be to have different robe sizes--my guest that afternoon was larger and there wasnt a robe to fit her comfortably.

This is my go-to place for massages. The user experience of this spa is exceptional. From intake to relaxing in the meditation area, every moment spent in this facility is pure relaxation. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Ive had one hour massages to their prenatal package and have been blown away every single time. If you go to another spa after this one, you will know its not the same.

I love this place. I love the beautiful scent as you walk in the door. The friendly people who greet you. The spa sandals they give you. An offering of something to drink and then a place to chill out in their tents. Very peaceful. Ive been here several times doing several different services and its all been top notch. Very professional and lovely.

I am literally sitting in their meditation room right now in awe of how great these services have been. I have had many facials (Im in esthetician school) and massages. But, hands down, this is the best facial (by Shay!!) and massage (by Roger) that I have ever had. They were both so intuitive in their craft, Shays techniques were so so impressive and Roger took the time to feel what areas were tense and understood my needs. My friend is with me and said the same thing, and had the prenatal spa package at 8 months and feels amazing. Highly recommend, Ill be coming back.

This place is just always amazing. Erin does a really good job. I just had Vivian today and she emits magic. This entire atmosphere gives you relaxation being comfy, and being able to unwind. My time with Allyu Spa was great. I read a lot of reviews before confirming an appointment. When I called to asked questions about a massage vs. reflexology, based upon my interests, the staff member suggested the 90 minute massage/reflexology session. I went with her suggestion. IT WAS FABULOUS! I know I drifted off to sleep a few times which says a lot. It was what I really needed. I did one night as a staycation and had this as part of my relaxing night away. It was recommended to me by the B&B where I stayed. And yes, the tent is very awesome as is the overall ambiance set when you walk through the door. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

You cant beat the price! Is it a ritzy, luxury Spa? No. But Ive been to the ritzy, luxury Spas in Chicago and this Spa is way more worth your time and money. They dont have a pool or steam area, but the massage I had was the best Ive had in a long time. I highly recommend Tania. I felt totally relaxed and revived after my service.

I had a 90m massage with Kelly and it was amazing! Booking and checking in was easy, spending time in the relaxation room beforehand allowed me to clear my head and truly enjoy the massage, and Kelly listened to my preferences and ensured that she provided the best experience. The whole atmosphere of the spa is intimate and relaxing. My hour facial was the best Ive ever enjoyed, leaving my skin soft and my whole body relaxed. The feeling lasted for two days! My manicure was just okay. I asked for clear polish, so I got a base coat and the dazzle dry, no layer of regular polish. My nails were not buffed, so the ridges we accentuated by the shine. I will return, but for a facial.

This is the best spa ever! I got to experience Chakra balancing plus massage and I cant wait to return! Amber is very thorough and intuitive! So talented and Im so grateful! Its rare to find a someone who helps give you tips to improve your mind and body. Im looking forward to trying all of the other services offered. I was looking for a Spa in Chicago to take my sister for her birthday. Since I am new on town was just looking online and found Allyu Spa. I could not be happier with the experience. The Spa takes you into a Zen vibe. I had a massage+chakra balance with Stephanie and she was great. I liked particularly that after the treatment she explained to me what as treated and further explanations. Overall a great experience. Booked a appointment for a facial. Just a regular facial. I used to go for facials once a month at Z salon and spa, in Louisville, KY. I saw Elizabeth here at Allyu Spa and she gave me the most incredible experience. Best facial i have ever received.Im also very much into skin care and I learned so much from Elizabeth. We discussed different products lines from different brands. Learned a lot while being completely relaxed. I cant wait to go back. I schedule another appointment with Elizabeth before I left the Spa

Excellent front desk service and my massage therapist, Antonia, is always wonderful, excellent, awesome, and amazing! The parking is close and cheap which makes getting here really easy. The waiting room is very comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely be back!

This place was a hidden gem for me. The first time I went to Allyu was with my birthday gift card for a massage and had an incredible experience there. The atmosphere in the spa was serene and very relaxing. After my massage I was given an option to take a rain shower and stay in their meditation tent. Every detail in the spa starting from soothing background music, pleasant smells, people whispering and up to the friendly and attentive staff was inviting and made me come back there a few more times. Now they also send me different offers which I truly appreciate.
