This fitness center is amazing. It has several state of the art exercise machines, fitness classes, Olympic size swimming area and comparable hours of operation. I am very excited to get into a fitness routine.

Great faith based place for families. Lots of classes for adults and kids. You can book a waterpark birthday party. Also rent out the banquet room for an event. They also have a daycare and a cafe. Security on staff. Thank you to the Kroc family for investing in this community!

The Kroc Center offers everything you desire from a gym and community center. This stylish, modern community center offers indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. The Center has a swimming pool and lap pool, indoor water park, spa, indoor and outdoor tracks and basketball courts. Its a great place.

The Kroc center by far is one of the best exercise facility that I have had the experience of working out at. Very friendly professional staff, clean equipment, clean equipment, very huge and spread out. As you come in you must register because of covid restrictions and you must take a tempature check. I highly recommend this facility.

I have loved coming to the KROC! It was the best way to keep healthy. There are so many options for activities. I really appreciated the services to Senior citizens. I loved the pool and swam laps most days. I found the center well kept up and the exercise equipment in good condition. The security services makes one feel safe. The staff seemed to take pride in their jobs and in providing professional services. Thank you for all the efforts you employ to make KROC Center an enjoyable experience.

This is a great place to train and get fit. Not just weight lifting but other things as well.

Due to Covid-19 they check your temperature and require a survey completed before entering. I have a family account there which breakdown the monthly cost significantly. The track, basketball courts and workout equipment are nice. Bring your own mat if doing core work outs (because of Covid-19). The pool is gorgeous.

Clean and pushing all covid policies. Miss the SENIOR classes and the water aerobics.

My son has done some of the programs they offer for a fair price. Hes taken swimming lessons, tee ball, and basketball skills. Instructors were nice and knowledgeable.

I found the center to be clean and well, This was my first time visiting the center. I did inquire about the center and the programs they offer. it looks like a place I could find things to do. The staff greets you and make you feel welcome when you walk in. When I return I would love to take a walking tour to explore the whole center. This seem like its my kind of place. I will definitely be returning soon.

I will start off with a positive in saying that the facility is very clean and spacious however I must say that the customer service through the events department is mediocre at best. Prior to booking a pool party through the events department I was informed I would have an hour to set up the room for decorations. In the weeks leading to the party, I was given conflicting information by different staff members that we would only have either 30 min or 15min to set up. I contacted the director of operations who stated I had valid concerns due to the misinformation I was given and connected me with the director of events.She did not contact me until the afternoon before the party (through email by the way) that we would only have 30 min to set up due to the tight party schedules that they have to maintain. This would be understandable if there were another party prior to ours but we were the first party scheduled for that day. On top of that, the director informed me if we wanted to pay an additional fee we could access the room at an earlier time. I find it very telling how they claimed the room wouldnt be available but suddenly it became available when money is involved.We paid for a total of 8 pizzas but ended up only getting 5. Our party host was nice, although some of her coworkers asked for leftovers which we had no problem giving but it was very unprofessional. All paper products and utensils were supposed to have been provided, but they did not even have forks for for the cake so instead our guests were given spoons. Given the amount of money that we paid for the party, I would have expected better customer service and professionalism. The silver lining in this is that the children enjoyed the pool but I will not return again nor would I recommend booking a pool party at the Kroc Center.

This is a wonderful Community Center that was built for our youth. There is a huge gym with 2 full court basketball floors. There is also a nice indoor water park with slides and a hot tub. There are a mass variety of activities to choose from. This is definitely a place that young kids and teens should experience

Good place with lots of activities for all ages. My only complaint is some of the front desk staff needs to be a little more professional and less attitudy and more informative when your asking questions about the programs. I shouldn’t be told to look in the book if I’m standing right inside the place and asking additional more detailed information.

Just had my daughter birthday at the Kroc center. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The facility was clean. The pool life guards stayed on top of the children. But I did think that it was waaaayyyy too many children in the pool. And they should not have open swim when you have 3 pool parties going on at the same time. It was chaos and big children knocking over the little children. The Kroc Center leadership should really consider changing this process.

I was please with the center, youre greeted as you enter the building. I plan on asking for a full your of the entire center. It is well maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly. They offer different activities. They have a booklets, they were out when I was there. I will be going back to.get more information.

Coolest community-center I have ever been to! Was there for a memorial service. The facility has rooms that you can rent out for special occasions. I saw a pool and a place where you could get food. Im not sure what else was there but this place is huge! Staff was nice, the place was immaculately clean. If Im ever in the Chicago area again and need a meeting space this would be my go-to place

Went with my children to use the pool. It was a nice warm pool for my first grader and he have fun in the splash and slide area. My toddler found it too cold, but still enjoyed it. The staff were great, lifeguards were very attentive and kind with explaining the rules that we didnt know. Nice big family changing rooms and lots of open locker facilities.

I love the Kroc, great variety of activities and programs for all ages, including sports, indoor track, swimming pools, dance, computer, drama, even worship services are available. The membership prices very affordable for any budget, and great location. Pretty clean, but as with any public facility I do take precautions such as wearing flip flops in the shower area for the pool, and they do provide disinfecting wipes in the weight room for seats and handles. Once again great place.

I love this facility. Great place to take the family for a day of fun activities, a daily workout, swim days, a few games in basketball or other sports. Plenty of things to get into at the Kroc Center. Highly recommend for a day of fun.

It was not the correct time to register for membership. I didnt have the verification to register for the silver sneakers program. So it was disappointing, after the tour of the facility ( it is a world class facility) equipped for spiritual, physical, and mental health. Filled out app and showed up, but they wanted some proof of qualification of Silver Sneakers. Looking forward to providing.

They are very unprofessional here!!! The communication is terrible!!! I made plans to celebrate my daughters birthday here in April. I originally began calling and planning the event for my daughters birthday during mid-March. A week before the event I prepared an email to send over the waiver forms for all 46 of my guests. It was at that time that I was notified that they could not accommodate my group in April due to an Easter egg hunt that had been put in place after my event had been scheduled. I had been in contact with the person over events for more than a month. After speaking to the event coordinator as well as her Manager I decided to leave this review to inform others of how unorganized and unprofessional this establishment is. What type of establishment in business to make money turns 46 people away anyway?BE AWARE THEYRE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

First time Ive gone ,I took my grand kids and nephews and we had a great time. I think the locker area need some attention. Maybe the lockers with locks all ready on the locker, you just have to put your own number in. And the numbers change out with every different use on its on. It beats having to buy a lock. And the area need widen with more lockers and private space to change clothes. For women, men, and children. You need more showers. I never been upstairs but downstairs need work. The pools are just fine. I want to make Kroc a home base where I can come and relax through out the week.. Do you have a line dance and aqua aerobics ?

This is a great place especially for families. The Kroc Center Staff is polite and professional. The building maintenance is beyond well kept. Its worth trying them out.

Looking for a clean and safe swimming area for my 10 -12 yr old girl this weekend. I found it to be a wonderful pool and extra things to do. Lots of kids on weekend but more than enough space to move around. We are planning to come back again!

Love my Senior life at the Kroc center, Cheryl is the Best Line Dance instructor there is, kind and caring and incredibly patience. We had a pot luck lunch today, delicious food and dancing..fun day. Love The Kroc center!!!

Very nice facility for working out. Prices are on par with most other gyms.They also offer banquet hall rentals and birthday rooms for kids.

Good spot, especially for kids. I give it 4 stars because this is a awesome facility, best pool in Southside area, indoor track, basketball courts, and weights. I knocked a star because they do have funny rules and each employee can be different on them. I cant always swim because no employee is at that particular pool, and I had arguments with some of the inexperienced employees about my swimming goggles although the manager said its no problem. If they could stop this and have normal rules then this place would be 5 stars.

My family has a monthly membership for the club. The cost is only $59.00 a month and it allow 5 family member in. My son loves the place. It is very clean and the staff and other members are very friendly. It has something for everyone. I would recommend getting a membership for you and the family.

I LOVE this place!

Nice hall. It was rather small but and we needed more seating and they added more for more money. Over all everybody seems to have had a great time. Its newly built but nice my Grandson graduation was there three years ago that room was huge.

Great place to work out. Great for seniors and young people. Christian based...so you wont be seeing scanty swimsuits and inappropriate workout wear. Classes for all levels. Nice atmosphere.

I thought it was decent for the price. The facility was well kept. The check in was lengthy, I wish I could just pay and go without all the extras. The snack bar was very reasonable, especially comprehensive

This is a family environment. Ive been a member for over a year now and I definitely support this business and purpose for kids and teens. The gym is not so crowded, the pool water could be warmer but the hot tub is nice. They used to keep the bathrooms cleaner so they need to work on hiring better janitors.

The Kroc center provides activities that are satisfactory for the whole family. There is a atmosphere of positivity. Maybe the good spirit is there because it has a Church with kind and considerate members.

The Kroc center has a nice gym. The monthly membership is reasonable especially for family. There is so much more here including kids camp, computer classes, and a senior meeting group.

I was able to exercise on the NuStep machine for 40 minutes.

It was a great privilege to be invited to the Kroc Celebrate by APS Family and Toneal Jackson international best selling author, I received the award for inspirational Novel. Cain Wont Come Because He Is Not Abel The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were amazed at the large size of the Center. One of the largest in the country. I would recommend that local families get memberships and get involved with the events and activities which are designed to enhance the quality of life. Great pool, exercise equipment and so much more. I highly recommend that you visit the center for your health care needs.

Very nice place to work out. A jewel on the south side of Chicago. Very well ran. However some of the staff Lac people skills and have a poor command of the English language.

This is a beautiful community rec center in the heart of West Pullman. They have tons of activities for kids, adults, and families. Includes beautiful basketball courts, football field surrounded by a track, indoor water park, indoor playground, fitness center, meeting spaces, etc. Very good pricing structure and the Salvation Army is a worthy cause.

Have been a member for a year. Great place tmo workout! My grand kids love the swimming pool.

First time here like my kids really enjoyed it.. Note: bring your own lock and if you have kids under the age of three make sure your kids have swimming diapers on

It was a very nice and warm place to have any event you want. I can say the staff are pleasant. The space for the children is wonderful also. You and the family will love it.

Hard to get in and out for swimming because of all the water aerobic and swimming courses going on after 8am. If you think you can get there at 5am then its perfect. Other wise you will swim much later or have to miss out on your swim. Place is so huge, I cant understand why its not at least one rotational lane for diehard swimmers at all times of the day. Havent had problems with the other sections of the gym, just the pool schedule. If they opened just a 1/2 hour early, perhaps more swimmers can do their laps before they go to work. Other wise the place is perfect...swimming wise that is. They have a descent jogging track, tennis and basketball, and all sorts of adult and childrens courses! The facility is perfect for families and very reasonable membership fee for what your getting. I feel safe because of the security and all the young adults their are very manarable. Left my wallet on the bench in the locker room and a youth returned it to the desk before I could even miss it. The community could use two more of these wonderful facilities.

The staff is very helpful. They have all the equipment I use in my physical therapy sessions. And it has a convenient location.

My daughter takes swim lessons here. Her instructor Mr. Clifford is very patient and passionate about his job. He makes sure that the kids are safe, have fun, and learn! Half and half of the staff are friendly but that doesnt take away from our experience.

This community center has everything. A fitness center, a pool, classes to learn, restaurant, senior activities, and so much more. The individual, and family memberships are very reasonable. This place is a must see.

Was a member a few years ago , they apparently hire off duty police officers as security , it was winter I entered the facility and before I could get in the door good officer Ray rush me and told me to take off my hat I was caught off guard so I didnt say anything and just removed my hat , after my workout I spoke with him and said he could have let me get in the door good and give me the opportunity to remove my hat , he said to me youre a Man and a Man should know to remove his hat when he enters a room there were many implications in his tone , I was beyond offended ,,, I remember his name because when I asked someone else what his name is , he heard me and got in my face and in a very aggressive manner told me clearly MY NAME IS RAY!!! OFFICER RAY !!! I felt threatened , there is nothing about me that should have caused that kind of in your face reaction from officer Ray .I spoke with someone that said they were management but didnt seemed concerned , didnt return after that , the whole ordeal was unprofessional .BTW I grew going to the Salvation Army Brainerd Corps as a child what I know about truth and fairness comes from a combination of my Mom and the church , I use to love going to camp Wonderland every summer , its a shame that do to poor management and a poorly trained officer ,,, anyone would have a negative experience like the one I encountered .

I bring my kids here every weekend for classes. Very clean, very friendly staff. The pool area is great and the have plenty of life guards on duty. Its wonderful to have a place like this in the neighborhood

My entire family loves this place. I can swim and work out, the teenage boys play basketball, the little ones can play in the water. Just overall fun for all!

Everyone in this place, especially the Aquatic Center, are some of the nicest, most helpful, friendly people Ive ever encountered. Elroy and DeSean in the Aquatic Center never cease to amaze me how far out of their way they will go to accommodate guests.

Great state of the art facility. This is my go to place when the weather hinders me from running outdoors in extreme cold and icy conditions. The suspended indoor track is nice, and I switch up between the track, treadmill, and stationary bike. Memberships are the best way to go, but daily passes are also available.

I love going to the Kroc center I use a lot of the equipment. Most of all I do aqua fit in the pool.

I enjoyed working out at the Kroc Center Chicago. The center is so clean, especially the locker rooms. They even have a spa pool in the water park. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This was my gym for a while. I gave it four stars for their lack of a sauna thats all their missing. Other than that i loved and still live the kroc and also yall could lower the cost for a day pass.

I have experience walking on the inside track at least two or three times a week. Also attend some of the fitness classes.

We rode an hour to get there, to be told that the pool doesnt open until 3 because of day camp. It would have been very helpful if this information was posted on their website. I would strongly suggest calling before going because their website is not updated.

Lets start with the good! This place offers a lot of space with several different amenities. My son took basketball lessons here in ONE of their many gyms (which are huge btw), they have a concession stand with food, a gym, track and pool and its all very affordable especially the family prices.The BAD: I booked a party here and with the price that I paid it has WAY too many restrictions. Its not comparable to other places for the same amount AT ALL. 15 mins to decorate??? Really? You cant pay for additional people to be added to their party rooms, and there is no median. Its either 15, 25 or 60 person party! Its hard to get in contact with the coordinator if you have questions concerning your party- they only seemed to be responsive when I had money that needed to be paid....Overall good for a gym membership not good for a party

The design is totally unsafe for children under 7 though the life guards do a absolute great job trying to keep little ones safe but the play area for small children is too close to the deep end of the pool causing a nerve recking experience being that you have to keep a TOTALLY eagle eye on your little ones which of course is the right thing to do but not at all a fun and relaxing family friendly experience like other appropriately designed waterparks which allows the attending adults to somewhat relax knowing the play area is safe the pool had to be cleared out twice to remind parents the play area has blind spots and small children can easliy end up in the deep end of the pool as there is NO partition that separates the play area from the danger of the pools deep end
