I’m writing a review mostly to serve as a reminder to myself to not wait again scheduling an appointment here. If you are reading this, chances are you or someone you know is in pain or agony. Don’t wait either! Scheduling is super easy. Dr. Backhaus is also really quick to respond to emails too if you are having trouble scheduling from the website. He’s happy to take time answering any questions you might have.My lower back issue isn’t constant and pops up once or twice a year and chances are it isn’t severe (but the pain is!) and within 24-48 hours I’m feeling significantly better with a session and home exercises- which is why I say don’t wait it out when you can start to feel better today.Location is great too. Parking on Lincoln is metered but the area around it isn’t.

I am very happy with my treatment thus far. I look forward to my adjustments knowing that they help me to feel better. Having a job that is very physical means I am often in pain and the treatments I am getting at Modern Chiropractic has been helping me to manage that.

I met with Dr. Backhaus for the first time today and I already feel incredible relief in my lower back. His office is comfortable, clean and convenient. However, I most appreciate how he took the time to explain every move, position, and step with me. He really took the time to understand the history of my pain, giving me more confidence in his methods and his treatment. Thank you very much and looking forward to returning next week!

Dr Backhaus was helpful, efficient, on time, and most importantly listened to my symptoms and was able to effectively treat me in the office and give me a regimen for home as well. Office is clean and adheres to COVID cleaning standards. Couldnt be happier to establish myself as a patient at MCC!

Ive had 2 adjustments by Dr. Backhaus and 2 acupuncture treatments, his approach to the body is precise and yet gentle. I felt amazing after the treatments and continued to throughout the month. What was refreshing was the amount of time he took with me. I never felt rushed and I definitely felt he listened to me and what I wanted to accomplish from the appointment. Thanks so much! Susan is the exceptional in her knowledge of the human body and intuitive in finding and fixing my back/body issues. No one I’ve ever been to comes close to the quality of therapeutic massage she provides. It’s like a new body after every session- highly recommended!

Dr. Backhaus is knowledgeable and committed to finding the right care for his patients. As an endurance athlete, I deal with regular aches and pains, as well as more serious injuries. He has always provided the right treatment (both adjustments and acupuncture) to get me back on track as soon as possible. And unlike other chiropractors I have been to, he is looking for a path to get me off the need for treatment.

I have dealt with pain in my lower back and neck for years, aggravated by working often for long hours at a computer. Dr. Backhaus uses a combination of chiropractic adjustments, exercise, and acupuncture to help alleviate my pain and stiffness. Hes knowledgeable and takes his time to explain issues and how to correct them without making you feel rushed. Flexible hours too -- Saturday appointments are a bonus.

I have tried a few chiros before, but it wasnt until I stated seeing Dr Backhaus that I was able to see change and better understand changes in my body. I had a very weird and unprofessional experience with the male doctor who does facial acupuncture at this facility. I tried to make an appointment but was told the only way they could hold an appointment was if I gave my credit card information via email. I figured I would go in, in person to make the appointment instead and then I get a call that my appointment was booked and I missed it and that my Groupon was now invalid. I called them to let them know I never had a confirmed appointment and had never given my credit card information and was basically yelled at over the phone by the doctor who then hung up on me. Unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable getting needles stuck in my face by someone with such a short temper so I won’t be back.

I had some back pain that wasnt going away. I was able to be seen the same day I walked in and he was able to really help me relieve immediate pain as well as ways to address it after I left by doing very simple exercises. Highly recommend Dr. Backhaus

Dr. Backhaus is very smart and gentle. He treats the root cause of the problem. I saw him for my back pain. Thru chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture and massage, and by empowering me to do the recommended exercises, I am now pain free.My husband Arnel is now a firm believer of chiropractic/ acupuncture. Dr. Brad Bachhaus and Modern Chiropractic is the best practice Ive been to over the past 30 years, having used many doctors as I lived all around the country. I herniated 2 lower disks 13 years ago which I reinjured this past July 4th. The pain was as horrific as it was the first time. I really thought my summer was over knowing how long it took me to recover the last time under anothers chiropractors care. It is just 3 weeks later and I have no pain, am able to sit for long periods at my desk all day, Im back at the gym, and enjoying my summer.Brad is passionate about what he does and it shows in his vast knowledge in chiropractic, physical therapy, and acupuncture. Hes a natural educator and taught me a great deal during this process so I can take better care of myself.
