Dr. Sara and her team go above and beyond “quick fix” chiropractic care. My posture is better than it has been for a long time and my back/neck pain is now virtually zero. I’ve suffered with chronic migraines for as long as I can remember. I would have migraines for weeks at a time. I had been to numerous neurologist and just the emergency room trying to find answers for years. One day after suffering with one of the worst migraines ever and just doing research, I decided to try going to a chiropractor. BEST DECISION I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY MADE! Dr. Sara and her team is really good! They found out my condition, something they found with an X-ray, but the hospital could not. Today is a little over a year I’ve been seeking treatment and I have the bare minimum migraines. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

This review is so overdue & in need of being posted, because I am so grateful for this Chiro One location & its staff. Ive known Dr. Sara for a couple of years, but only recently started seeing her for chiropractic care. When I say this team is incredible it is great understatement. I came to Dr. Sara & her team at the end of 2020 when an old running injury flared up as my body adapted to pavement with gyms closed because of COVID-19. From the exercises prescribed to my treatment plan & adjustments, Ive shaved off nearly 2 minutes of miles/minute & am running a 10:30min/mile with no pain. My goal is to reach a 10min/mile by mid-June & hopefully run a half marathon in the fall pending COVID restrictions. Ive seen a dramatic shift in my running form, recovery, & tension headaches/neck pain going from a bother to non-existent. I love fitness, am a part-time yoga teacher, & truly believe in chiropractic care given by someone who is so committed to their patients. I love the aids offering corrections & modifications & the constant encouragement from other patients. This review is long overdue. I was one of those skeptical individuals regarding chiropractic care, primarily I thought it was for individuals that had back problems and needed assistance. At a community event back in 2014; I stumbled upon Chiro one, speaking with one of their representatives and providing me with information I grew curious also because I was having a killer pain in my right shoulder. I met Dr. Kevin Smith whom was the chiropractor at that time at Chiro One Halsted location, he was very attentive and had a very down to earth personality, we spoke about the issues with my right shoulder targeted the underlying cause which was that I was a side sleeper and not only was it causing me to have pain but also my neck was being too strained. I was very skeptical never in my life I thought was going to be able to sleep on my back since I always slept on right side and to my amazement, I have been able to sleep on my back since 2014. My chiropractic treatment ended after a few months and once again I sought help back in 2018 when I had horrible plantar fasciitis pain on both feet, I met Dr. Sara Sidiqui and curious enough she was an intern while I was receiving care under Dr. Smith, therefore I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Sara attentively listens to you, and proactively motivates you to be at your best health. My PF has been under control and she has also assisted me with other medical conditions I have had; the latest one with vertigo. I have never experienced a horrible vertigo episode, but I sought the help of Dr. Sara and she sprung into action to accommodate me and see me immediately. The staff is very dedicated, although the pandemic struck Chiro One has remained open and has been very helpful in maintaining my well-being. I believe in a holistic approach and having chiropractic care it has enabled me to be more flexible and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I have been going here almost 3 months. It started with a thorough explanation of the treatment goals and the cost of treatment. They were very helpful in explaining and providing options.Treatment has been overall successful. I had never been to a chiro before. Dr. Sarah and the team are very friendly and helpful. They definitely create a welcoming environment. It still blows my mind how they remember everyones name. Whenever I went in with pain I left with atleast 75% of it gone. Also the pain I experience is now less frequent and severe. I would reccomend!

I sought chiropractic care to help alleviate back pain, neck pain and headaches about 4 months ago and just completed my first series of treatment with Dr. Sara and her team. I have significantly less pain and my chronic headaches have decreased from about 4-5/month to 1-2 per month. I love that chiro one combines physical therapy (PT) with adjustments and that there are opportunities to measure success and adjust treatment as needed throughout the process. I highly recommend for anyone interested in chiropractic care that is willing to put in the work to maintain a PT regimen that will help to amplify your results.

Everyone is so nice and they do a good job of getting me adjusted.

My recent experience was supposed to be a chiropractic evaluation at no cost to me. So I fell for it. I was seen by Sara Siddiqui who is a chiropractic director.During the first visit I filled out an extensive and detailed questionnaire about my medical background which already provided enough information about my health. It seemed odd why questions about very personal and sensitive information were included in which was difficult to find correlation to a chiropractic assessment. Then multiple pictures were taken from different angles of my body to serve as evidence of my posture along with multiple X-rays (which I now regret).On the next day, second visit, I was taken to a room where I was shown a video about vertebral subluxation. Afterwards Sara looked at my previously taken pictures and my x-ray views compared to preceding sample photographs presumably representing normal healthy positions of a low back. She pointed out the difference from normal of my LSA and LDA analysis and stated that there is degeneration in progress. This sounded like really bad news in combination with the lateral, medial an horizontal values which were determined using a GEOMETRIC analysis of the positions of my vertebrae on each X-ray view. My spine looked frighteningly crooked. My low back was shifted to the right and my hips looked misaligned to a hypothetical horizontal drawn with different colored line. This information and the X-ray felt really alarming and I asked Sara if the shifting in my posture is fixable or the degeneration which she didn’t actually pinpoint with any exactness reversible. I had so many questions and she didn’t have the answers I was able to understand and interpret in my own simple words.Then she left the room and another person talked to me about the options I had to pay for a 12 week of 3 days a week therapy plan and orthotics recommended by Sara. I already had orthotics which she requested that I bring with to my first from those 36 visits so they can determine if I need new ones. Not being able to make a sound judgement while overwhelmed by the negative news about my health it seemed like they were doing me a favor by offering me a payment plan for the suggested therapy. And I felt willing to commit to it so a fraction of the payment was collected which equaled three visits. Everybody from the staff all of a sudden started talking how excited they were about the first adjustment I was gonna get. It was awkward at best. Then they wanted to call me back for a follow up on the next day prior to my first visit to start the therapy to check how I felt after the adjustment. Why? I was gonna see them again in less than 24 hours. It sounded unnecessarily invasive.I kinda lost my peace over the next couple of days and cancelled my appointments after the first one because I’d decided to look for a second opinion and reached out to the doctor who prescribed my orthotics. In order to get that opinion a radiology report was needed and I requested to see the report from the radiologist interpretation used by Sara to determine my “diagnosis”. Well it turned out according to the printout from Chiro One the so called Exacting X-ray Analysis does not substitute a healthcare provider’s (such as radiologist or orthopedist for example) independent and thorough diagnosis.A claim with the date of my supposedly free assessment visit was submitted to my health insurance policy in the name of Sara Siddiqui for a ridiculous amount of money with no details about billing codes for procedures or tax identification and was flagged as incomplete. Even though I made sure to ask if they were gonna do that and their answer was no.Also why did my spine look so crooked? They had drawn green and red lines on the X-ray showing where the spine should be and where mine was. Was it the way they positioned the images? I am concerned because it looked pretty scary.

The staff treats you like family and with the upmost respect. Been going for a few months and can visually see the results of my care.

I had never been to a chiropractor before being seen by Dr. Sara at Chiro One of Old Town. Words cannot change how much life has changed since. Not only has the fabulous staff (Gen, Makeda, and Ali) taken amazing care of me and turned into friends but I feel in the best health of my life. Since starting treatment in October, I’m functioning better and feel better. My asthma is under control and I’ve stopped so many over the counter meds. Yesterday, I was having so many issues with my allergies and after my adjustment I felt almost immediately better. Chiro One is about more than just the adjustment, the exercises used in conjunction are key as well as a genuine care for whole body health. My overall health is amazing and I am now the biggest advocate of the preventative health success of the chiropractor and Dr. Sara!!
