My experience with Dr. Amaro was great. I visited her when I was newly pregnant and she made me very comfortable and was able to explain how many of the symptoms she treated were related to my pregnancy. Dr Vahabi is an outstanding and very intelligent health professional. Every time I am there she answers my questions very thoroughly and she explains what she is doing in ways that I can understand. Since I have been seeing her, some of my symptoms have faded. I was in a car accident several years ago and ever since my body has not been the same. And I have been pretty much everywhere including the best top neurologist, pain clinics, and even tried other chiropractors andacupuncturist but nothing helped. I suffered from constant neck pain and headaches.A few months ago, I visited my pain doctor at northwestern hospital and as I was crossing the street, I noticed “Center for Preventive Healthcare” sign and chiropractic etc. I had walked by that place many times before but had never paid attention. So strangely, I felt that something told me to just walk in, which I did. All I have to say, that was it! I made an appointment and saw her two days later, That changed quality of my life! After the first visit, I felt that I woke up from a long sleep. And now all the pain is gone and s they say the rest is history!

I had been dealing with chronic physical symptoms on and off for 3 years with many unsuccessful attempts with other practitioners. Her treatment approach and confidence in her work gave me immediate relief and hope. I felt relief after the first session and within 8+ sessions I am back to normal in my body. She treats the whole body/mind and helped to set me back on a course of wellness. I am so grateful to Dr. Vahabi and in her I also unexpectedly found an advisor and friend.

You can get your life back! -- I have an MTHFR genetic mutation. If you’re not familiar with it, it causes issues with methylation of certain B vitamins (and more). There is a ton of research being done on this right now. I could go on but I will stop myself and let you know why I’m posting… I cannot explain how great my knees and spine feel today. When I went down stairs this morning (2 days post appt), I realized nearly all of my knee joint pain was gone and my achy-joint spine pain is gone. I think the B-complex vitamins are a huge issue for me and the NAET has made a considerable difference. Just wanted to share. If you suffer from allergies, pain, anxiety, digestive issues, anything really, Dr. Amaro is the one to see. I cannot recommend her enough. I used to see Dr. Vahabi before Dr. Amaro took over her practice. Dr. Amaro is a perfect fit to continue Dr. Vahabis work to help people become balanced and living life again.

Twice now, a back surgeon has said I needed an operation to correct a bulging disc. The first time was about 6 years ago. A friend recommended Dr. Vahabi, and though skeptical of chiropractors, I was intent on avoiding surgery. I became a believer. After the first week of treatment, she said I would need about 4 more weeks of treatment and within her prediction, the pain was gone and my range of movement was back to normal. This most recent time for which I am still receiving treatment was a recurrence of the bulging disk, but this time, my right foot was partially paralyzed. After several weeks with Dr. Vahabi, I am seeing slow but very steady improvement. She is wonderful and caring.

I highly recommend Dr. Vahabi. It is absolutely amazing the relief she can provide in just a session or two. Do both chiropractic and accupuncture. I swear she has magic hands!

Was very skeptical of chiropractors and especially of acupuncture but had tried everything else and was/am sick of pain meds. Committed to going once a week and after a month or so my back pain is definitely fading. 5 stars does not even describe the feeling...

I came here specifically because they accepted my insurance and offered NAET treatments but they offer so many more things! Acupuncture, great adjustments, cranio-sacral therapy, somatic release and massage! She gave me a heel lift that made my 6 month old hip pain cut in half OVERNIGHT! Id also recommend her for TMJ treatment. The Dr. knows her stuff and really genuinely wants you to get better. She can be a little harsh sometimes but usually she hits the nail on the head.

Dr. Vahabi is not only a great chiropractor but a great listener. She really takes the time to get to know each patient and care for them individually. I have been to other chiropractors where you are a fast adjustment and nothing more, but with Dr. Vahabi, this is not the case. She is truly comprehensive in her approach to treat pain or underlying causes of body aliments. She has not only treated my constant neck pain but vertigo as well. When I thought I was losing all hope with my vertigo...Dr. Vahabi was there to reassure me and identify triggers. With her help and treatment, I have been managing the problem without the use of heavy prescription medicines that can lead to many unpleasant side effects. I always feel so good after an appointment with Dr. Vahabi. Her bedside manner is excellent and so reassuring. Her office staff is very helpful and friendly and she has a great massage therapist on staff. She truly represents her profession with her passion to help others.

I cant begin to explain my appreciation for Dr. Vahabi. I had a bulging disk since I was 12 that herniated this winter and was pinching a nerve. I went to see Dr. Vahabi because one of my moms coworkers had seen her and praised her amazing work on his back. Just yesterday, I began to experience the same leg pain and pressure that I was experiencing in the winter and saw Dr. Vahabi. Today, I am able to put pressure on my leg again and walk normally. She is UH-MAZING.

Ive been seeing Dr. Vahabi for chiropractic & accupuncture treatments for over 15 years and cant say enough good things about her. I started going to her after suffering for years with a bad back that would periodically cause me to miss work laid up with muscle relaxants. Dr. Vahabii got me to a totally different place; since seeing her regularly I no longer have any back problems and am able to exercise which strengthens my back even more. Shes wonderful, not too aggressive (Im a small woman), and I now go routinely every 4-6 weeks for a tune up. I also have massages there when I go for chiropractic sessions, and Angie is wonderful too. They submit directly to my insurance, and the balance of payments if always extremely reasonable. Being under the care of Dr. Vahabi has been life changing for me. I originally started seeing her for trouble with headaches and anxiety, both of which have improved greatly over the past year. The most amazing work we have done lately, however, is to treat my post surgical neuropathic pain, which has since allowed me to live my day to day life with less pain and more confidence. Dr. Vahabi takes care to always ask how I am doing physically and mentally at each appointment to cater that days treatment accordingly.
