I was able to book a last minute appointment with Penelope and I cannot express how professional, courteous, and genuinely considerate she was (as well as Lynn!). In addition, the entire team from when I called in a hair panic to arriving was working as a team to care for all the customers in the salon. Every employee regardless of who they were working with were going above and beyond and they truly wanted to ensure you had the best visit you had anticipated. I recently moved to the city and had been searching for a salon that fit my needs. I decided to book with Salon Buzz and from the moment I walked in I was treated so great. The woman at the door was so informative about their products and was so sweet! She also provided testers for the products i was interested in. Gina did my color and it turned out so beautiful! She was so incredibly sweet and also informative which made my experience memorable. I am so happy I decided to book with Salon Buzz and I will definitely be returning! Lauren did the most amazing job transitioning my hair to gray! It is stunning! And Maggie gave me the most flattering cut. I could tell they both really cared about the results and were as happy as I am. In Heaven right now!

Im new to town and went in for my first haircut at this salon. I wasnt satisfied with my haircut and spoke with one of the managers. They were very professional and kindly offered to have another stylist fix my hair. Erin gave me exactly what I was looking for and I was SO happy. Erin at the Salon Buzz Gold Coast salon is amazing for shortcuts. Her attention to detail is like no other and she shaved her head in such an attractive way. She’s probably good in all other cuts to but I know where to be above and beyond one of the best in the field for shortcuts.

Had also experience at Salon Buzz! Fabulous color from Angela and amazing cut and style from Sergio! Curly haired girls, hes your man! He knew just what to do with my mixed-ish hair LOL ;) I give Salon Buzz my highest recommendation!

The salon is doing a great job during COVID. When you walk in, you get your temperature taken and get handed a clean smock. There are barriers between customers at the hair washing stations and at each hair cutting seat. My stylist, Maggie, is awesome! She is very professional, kind, and always gives me a good haircut. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I was so impressed by the procedures and precautions put in place when reopening the Salon after the COVID-19 closure. From the new check in process to the hair wash to the stylist to the check out procedure I felt safe coming back. Jeanne B was wonderful as usual and after waiting 15 weeks it was such a pleasure to have her do a great job to bring my hair back to its pre virus state. This establishment was by far the safest environment I have seen during this pandemic.

Five stars without question for Maggie at Salon Buzz Gold Coast location. I am enjoying the most sophisticated, polished cut and design EVER - one that has been not possible at other salons. This is my dream cut - no exaggeration ! Maggie is so talented and precise. Truly have never had a better salon experience, better results, or more genuinely personable and talented stylist (Jerry). He was so patient, thorough, and even taught me how to style and care for my hair after my cut. It felt like he didn’t have any other clients that day, he cared so much about my results. I went to see a colourist Alison, I was very clear with what I wanted, showed several pictures of the colour and got a colour not even remotely similar to what I was looking for. She tried to fix it, but after one more attempt I decided to not ruin my hair further. Finally I paid full price even after speaking to a manager who acknowledged that I didnt get what was on the picture. Never going there again, thats for sure.

Highly recommend for hair color, cut, and event styling, havent tried the other services yet but would based on years of consistently great and friendly service with hair

Jimmy is the star of the salon. He is a master of consistency and art. Once he starts the haircut I go on auto pilot and know that it will be an amazing haircut.

My manicurist at Salon Buzz-Gold Coast is Michelle Rubino. Not only is she excellent at her job, experienced, and creative, but she is a terrific person as well. She is knowlegable and knows her business. She is also extremely efficient. I like her very much because she is a terrific person and very likeable. She makes me laugh regularly. I look forward to seeing her each time I go into the salon. She is also very good hearted. She deserves an award for her great services.

Moved to Chicago and needed to find a solid salon to help me breakaway from my colorist and stylists in Boston!I would highly recommend Lauren for any nervous blonde like me! She really listens and understands blonde tones. As for cut, Rose is true artist! I think this might be my favorite haircut in years, and she listened to me wanting to keep it long, yet add some updated long layers. I left loving my hair color, cut and blow-out!The girls at the front desk were also sweet, though Im still learning the salon dynamics.. sometimes they show you where to go, sometimes they expect you to see yourself to the chair. If you get past the odd intro, youll love the rest of your visit!
