I visited the food pantry there because Im in need, right now. It was an experience and have to live in the 60641 zip code. I really appreciate the volunteers there, they do not judge but serve with a smile. Everyone is there for the same reason, no matter your status in life. Hard times, in need of food, PAA is there to serve the 60641 zip code.

I schedule an appointment a month and a half out and then they call me and cancel and tell me to call elsewhere. Useless. Not recommended. My job donates to them and I wish we didn’t. I don’t like this “association” at all should be closed. Only cater to Polish.

I would of never knew to try Polish American Association for CNA classes, however I must say on how amazing these women are!!! Each and every single one of them holds a special place to help someone. I recently attended their classes and was blown away!!!! First you deal with Barbara who is in charge of the classes wonderful woman very sweet caring nice lets you know whatever you need. Then we had MS. Magda she is extremely knowledgeable and teaches great funny great spirit. Then we has MS. Lucy as I called her shes so sweet firm and she teaches you from the book. No cheating and always study from the book!!! Very great teachers and on my first try I passed along with my whole class! We even made new great friends along the way. This place has alot to offer and in ways to help the community as well I love it here thank you so much everyone!!!! Love Christine(CNA) .

First the info I got was so confusing. After reading it over clearly, looked like Wed was EMERGENCY day and open Min thru Thurs. So got off the bus, walked around til found it. They told me the pantry is open on Wed. But shed look for what they had. I carried these heavy bags til my arms almost fell off. Ended up leaving 2 frozen big family style meats on bus bench and giving out other useless cans and bag of beans along way. I am single living in a hotel w/ no stove or can opener. Really need winter clothes etc. Its so cold with no heat. Have no clue where to go now to get fresh fruits/verges etc. Blanket, so on.
