I have seen many excellent acupuncturists in the last 10-15 years; Lesley is one of the best of those. We moved to Chicago in January 2015 and in my effort to get established with a whole new cadre of health care practitioners, I purchased Lesleys online coupon as a random shot in the dark. Im so glad I did. What I have found over the last three months of regular appointments is that Lesley continues to deeply contemplate my treatment plan in between sessions and presents me with new insights and options that always advance my progress by leaps and bounds. She is masterful with the needles, but she also has a broad range of other tools at her disposal: herbs, ultrasound, massage, tinctures, and more. She very naturally and generously uses them all to effect healing, and has helped me with menopausal issues, gastrointestinal issues, and intense foot pain. One day I arrived at the appointment with a huge bruise on my hand where I had smashed it in a car door. Without missing a beat, she applied an herbal poultice to it before going on to give me a regular needle treatment. The bruise was 90% gone within 2-3 days. Im so fortunate to have met with Lesley. Ive struggled with an anxiety disorder that was very hard to deal with daily. My anxiety would cause my body to tense up immensely to the point where I had difficulty calming my breath, thinking clearly and would be led me to experience panic attacks. I wanted to wait a few days after my appointment before posting my review - mainly to see if acupuncture actually works. I had severe leg pain from sciatica for about 7 weeks before I went in to see Lesley. 3 days after my first treatment = major relief on my leg and not hobbling around. I know its a process and will take more visits before its back to normal but my pain went from a 9 out of 10 to a 3. Aside from that major plus, Lesley was easy-going, and very informative. Her positive energy throughout the process shows that she really cares about her job and the people that come to see her. Ill definitely recommend her to anyone. Thank you!

It had been awhile since my last session and I fallen into a state of fatigue where I was exhausted but couldnt seem to sleep. My stress levels had peaked. Lesley,Is a fine Acupuncturist. She is very knowledgeable and has helped me with many conditions from back spasms to anxiety. And I love the needles she uses they are so thin; I can barely feel them yet so effective. I highly recommend her you need to see how effective these treatments will be for you. I went to see Lesley for a massage and acupuncture to ease the tension in my neck and shoulders. The pain in my neck and shoulders was keeping me from falling asleep and staying asleep through the night and stifling my creativity.Because Lesley took the time to listen to me, she was able to recommend a treatment plan and simple and affordable techniques I can use at home in between my sessions with her to keep the effects of stress on my body at bay. I was extremely concerned my sleeplessness from my discomfort was causing me to look and feel tired. Its like she waved a wand over me; using her suggestions, I am able to fall asleep and stay asleep during the night and manage my stress during the day to prevent tension from creeping back in.

In 2014, I purchased a Groupon special and decided to confront my fears. Doing so has been one of the best decisions Ive made to date.Lesley was gentle, calming, humorous and kind. The needles turned out to be a non factor as I experienced no pain during the session. Did I mention she was gentle? I also loved the essential oils that Lesley used...various aromatic blends that heightened my experience. But the end part of the session was what sent me over the edge. Wow, Lesley is wonderful and I feel so lucky to have found her. I have always been curious about acupuncture and interested in trying it, but hesitant not knowing what to expect or who to trust. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable about what she does and is also a wealth of information regarding other healthy life style choices and behaviors. The facility and experience are very calming and rejuvenating. There is zero pain involved in the needle placement and she takes her time to address all of your concerns and design a plan to best suit your needs. WOW! I never thought I would be one to try acupuncture because I have always had an issue with needles. Getting diagnosed with Cubital Tunnel Disorder made me realize I needed to do something fast to fix the problem. Instead of getting cortisone shots that were recommended by my MD, I thought I would try a natural way of healing. I purchased a Groupon for 6 sessions, which was more than a deal, and have used 3/6 so far. The sessions themselves have been helping me greatly with the pain in my arm as well as to help relax me on a busy day. And guess what?! The needles do not hurt! The first time I was very nervous and they may have felt tender, but if you just let Lesley work her magic, you will be set at ease and will have a great session everytime. She really cares about her patients and has on every occasion, remembered things that I have told her about my life and follows up on issues I have disclosed to her.
