Bottom Line Up Front - Great staff (5 stars) but not the doctor (1 star)! The staff at Cheyenne Orthopedics PC was on point the day I had an appointment there. Shelly the receptionist was welcoming and helped me complete all of the required electronic forms for my appointment. Valerie was the nurse that saw me to the room and took really good notes about my injury history and current condition. When I was sent to the x-ray room for more imagery, I had a really fun conversation with Liz the x-ray technician and she and Shelly were real helpful a couple of weeks later when I picked up my x-rays to go to another orthopedic center. If this review were for the staff only, it would be 5 stars. However, I did see Dr. Torkleson that same day and that is where things turned south. From the very beginning Dr. Torkleson appeared to have a disbelieving, incredulous demeanor. He seemed to be shaking his head the entire time he saw me and asked me multiple questions, but then cut me off before I could answer them. I am not sure if my appearance as mobile and pleasant, even though I have suffered numerous knee injuries and surgeries, caused Dr. Torkleson to doubt my conditions, but it sure seemed like he straight disbelieved or disagreed with everything I said.At one point, when we had already had our first exchange in the room and Dr. Torkleson had stepped out, I heard him ask someone if they had a file for me yet. This was particularly frustrating...how do you see a patient who brings in an MRI and previous medical diagnoses related to chronic injuries and not review their file before seeing them? This 5 star review quickly became a 2 star review due to the lack of professionalism and courtesy from Dr. Torkleson. Had it not been for the staff I would have given only 1 star, and no stars if Google allowed it.Recommendation - Dont bother going to Cheyenne Orthopedic PC. I have appreciated Orthopedic & Spine Center of the Rockies so much more, but you dont have to go there; just dont go to Cheyenne Orthopedic PC.Best of luck to you and if you are reading this and you are suffering from orthopedic injuries or ailments, I pray you get the treatment and relief you need.

My son broke his arm while riding his bike; the ER correctly identified and set the break and provided a temporary cast. Dr. T at Chey Ortho looked at the X-rays (and performed a few more) and determined that the ER set the break correctly and he set up my son with a new, more long term cast. When it came time to remove the cast, Dr. T was very patient with my son and addressed my sons anxieties quite well in regards to the saw that needed to be used to remove the cast and in what my son could expect in terms of recovery. All in all - great experience.

Very rude from the minute i walked in. The receptionist didnt smile or make me feel welcomed. When the nurse called me back to the room she took off walking real fast, and i had on a cast and walking with crutches she didnt bother to wait. They switched my cast to a boot but the nurse argued with me about the size i needed i had to come Back for a smaller one that she said wasnt going to fit me, but it did. I only saw the doctor for 2 minutes and that was it. No one could answer my questions and it felt like i shouldnt of been there in the first place. Very bad customer service i will never go back here.

The absolute worst place in the world. I suggest taking a rusty saw to your own leg before trusting these surgeons. Dr Rangitch is not understanding at all. He believes hes the center of the universe and regardless of whats going on in your life he doesnt care.

Sloppiest cast work I have ever seen. My husband had to take a pair of pliers and cut jagged piece off. Went back three days later because it was moving around so much. Per the doctor- I did it like that so he can function??? Isnt the function of a cast is to keep inmoblie? After taking more x-rays and waiting for over an hour he would not redo the cast. Never never coming back. I will drive to Ft Collins before I step foot in this place again.

Zero stars if I could. Keep your money. Dr Torkelson is the most ignorant doctor I have ever seen. Didnt even look at my chart before coming in the room. And I left in more pain than I arrived in.

My appointment was scheduled at 1:15. I was hurried back from the waiting room promptly only to sit in the exam room until 2:03 and still waiting to see the Dr. Its ridiculous that they charge so much and give horrible attention to patients. The last time I was here the Dr. came for less that 2 mins and billed a huge to my amount to my insurance company. For what? To tell me come back again? No thanks save your money people. By the way Im still waiting to be seen. Its 2:08.
