I had not been in to the dentist office in quite a while due to personal issues. When I went in to see Dr. Jason, I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered and maybe even missed me…a little. Dr. J is personable, professional and friendly. Katie, my hygienist, took the time to explain everything she was doing with a smile of her face. She was also very professional and friendly. When Dr. J came in after Katie had done my examination and tooth pics (X-Rays), etc., he asked me if anything was bothering me? I answered that Katie was a little! We all laughed and he checked my oral cavity. It is a good reminder of why we all must drop in on our preferred dentist on a routine basis instead of taking a few years off as I had done. Dr. J found some decay under an old filling on of my teeth (tooth’s?) as well as a crack in the filling. He caught it early as I was in no pain…yet…but we all know that these issues will not resolve themselves and it’s always better to fix it early then to wait until that indescribable pain comes and it turns into an emergency situation. From the office manager Jen to the hygienists to the receptionist, Dr. J has assembled a great team of professionals. My family has been going to WY Cosmetic & Family Dentistry since 2007 and we’ve been through cleanings, braces, crowns, root canals and even an implant or two. For oral hygiene, this is a great team to have on your side.

These guys are absolute crooks. Twice, I was told my exam and X-rays would be free of charge. Yet, I just received a bill from my insurance totaling $259.70. (a few weeks prior, I had an exam and X-rays done at a different office in town. My appointment with WCFD was to get a second opinion. WCFD had my prior X-rays and diagnosis from my recent exam. I insisted new X-rays we’re not necessary, however WCFD said don’t worry the new X-rays and exam would be free.)I plan to sue WCFD in the Laramie County Circuit Court for fraud.. It’s not about the money. It’s about this companies inability to stay true to their word. WCFD needs to be held accountable and I feel confident the Laramie County Circuit Court will hold WCFD accountable.Jason Whiting and WCFD clearly lack proper morals and ethics.WCFD, see you in court!In addition, I will be filing a complaint with the Wyoming Board of Dental Examiners.

Buyer beware of potential price gouging! These guys are considerably more expensive relative to another dental office in town (probably most offices, although I can’t make a definitive statement regarding the average local price)… Initially, I had an exam done at a different office in Cheyenne. Then I got a second opinion at WCFD with Jason Whiting.I needed to have a tooth extracted. The first dentist quoted me a price of $186.00 to provide that service. WCFD quoted me a price of $339.20. An 82% increase in price for identical services. Talk about price gougingI am really curious how WCFD’s prices compare to other local dental offices for services such as, a crown or root canal. Would it be of any surprise if they were gouging patients regarding those services as well ?? Or does WCFD only gouge on extractions ? Buyer beware!!The aforementioned pricing data I provided is factual, documented data. My son had a root canal 7 months ago and now it has failed. The new dentist shoes that they didnt go deep enough and thats why it failed, he is in extreme pain. Wyoming Cosmetic informed us that happens and we needed to see a Endodontic, our new dentist said that if they had done it they would have stood behind their work. This isnt the 1st problem my family has had with them. They are rude and VERY disrespectful to us.

Irony! Giving Dr. Whiting and staff 5 stars for a root canal and crown, but Dr. Whiting is and excellent dentist and for all the stress that I put myself through prior to the procedure they put me at ease as much as I would possibly get. Thanks Doc and all staff.

I have been in multiple times for different things, and each time I am more disappointed. My last experience was when I had to have a crown done and in the process, they broke a filling on a separate tooth and I was told they would put in a temporary filling but that one would also need a crown now. I felt like it was extremely pricey and left feeling taken advantage of. My more recent experience was when a filling came out of a different tooth. I called to see how soon I could get in (its extremely uncomfortable) and was told by the receptionist that he didnt have any openings, but they could maybe get me in in a few days.... when I explained that wouldnt work because I have no filling in the tooth, she said, Well I think thats okay, it should be fine. Dental staff need to understand the needs of the patients. I am again underwhelmed.

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Whiting and all of his staff! I recently moved here and was nervous about finding a new dentist. The first appointment was completely free and no hassel. The atmosphere is so welcoming and calm and made me feel really comfortable. I ended up needing a crown and before scheduling an appointment for it, the office called to let me know they were having a crown day where they were offering an additional 20% off and asked if I could get in on that day. I also needed some fillings which they offered to me also at 20% off. It ended up being so much more afforable than I could have imagined and the whole procedure was so quick! Dr. Whiting was amazing and the assistant Vanessa was so nice. They were very cognizant of my comfort while also being speedy and efficient! I had zero pain or discomfort. This is hands down the best dentist Ive ever gone to and I cannot recommend them enough! The whole place is just overall really really awesome 👌

Cleaned teeth immediately after the exam. Largest Dental environment I have experienced with quality still there. My first visit as a new patient and everything was complementary. My next visit for a filling is competitive and great when the cleaning, exam with xrays are included. These people are open on Fridays and Saturdays that were a big benefit too. Fancy website.

Wow!!! Can’t believe it’s been over 12 years Dr Whiting has been our dentist. From cavities to crowns and braces they have taken care of me and my three sons dental health. The staff is amazing and Jennifer the office manager takes care of everything dealing with insurance.Its been such a great experience I kept them as my dentist even though I moved down to Fort Collins 5 years ago. 3 cheers for this great team!!

I’ve been going here since 2015. Yesterday I had a new hygienist, Meghan Harrison, and it was the best cleaning I’ve ever had. She was gentle but still got the job done. She went above and beyond in taking great care of me. I was feeling anxious in the beginning but relaxed as the cleaning went on. Thank you, Meghan, for caring and doing a great job.

I needed dental help right away and this clinic accommodated me in record time. The clinic is efficient and well run. I would recommend it.

Careful with this place they are very dishonest. I went in for my last cleaning for the year that my insurance covers, and they charged me for additional services and I didnt even see the dentist! They dont answer their phones at all. I called three times to discuss my bill and no answer. Dont waste you time at this place!

Been needing to find a new dentist for so long! Was dragging my feet because I just thought it was going to be a big hassle and super expensive to do new patient exam, etc, because those first appointments being new somewhere for me have always been so steep initially and I do not have dental insurance (not like there really IS such thing as dental insurance its more like dental benefit in my opinion!) but my teeth are priceless, so anyhow, finally made the jump and I am SO PLEASED with how easy it was getting an appointment and so quick - My first appointment is still a few days away, but I just wanted to say the admin staff already are awesome, and it was not a hassle whatsoever. The gal made it so easy, and said I wont even have to pay for the new patient exam, that made my day! Hopefully it is not too good to be true because I am really looking forward to the exam and cleaning and a filling I need bad! Very nice facility with great Dentist! They are really good at scheduling and getting you in to be seen. It seems hard to get same day, or next day appointments. Only reason for the four stars is that the dental technician was very unprofessional and rude! There was someone else who had commented on a rude tech and I figure we might be talking about the same person...I will be taking my business elsewhere. It was a good experience with the doctors and very good front desk.

1st time patient- I was treated respectfully and efficiently. Hygienist was personable and dentist was prompt. I appreciated that I didn’t feel like a lot of my time was wasted.

I paid out of pocket 800$ for a retainer with 1 tooth called a flipper that I dont wear because its hard to talk and understand and I DO have insurance. 😲 I really wish I was explained all my options and how much it would cost. I feel like I could have gotten a permanent tooth for that price. Ripped off... Boohoos!!

They were way to expensive-. Then he didnt complete what he told me he was going to do after he found out I wouldnt pay that much for the procedure. I needed a chipped tooth fixed and asked it be smoothed out a little. Not very happy at all. I ended up going to a more confident dentist....

When i called and scheduled my appointment , i specifically told the receptionist that i wanted my cleaning that day because i had trouble getting time off of work for appointments , she said no problem. they called me to come in early and i did but after the initial examination, i was told that i would need to come back for my cleaning, that i needed things done to my teeth that i did not need, i went to my old dentist and my teeth are fine, this place is a scam just to get more appointments and money out of the client , and have them pay for things that they dont need

Dentist refused to fix loose implant and crown. Had to go to another dentist to get it fixed. Problem was only a loose screw.

I love this place! I live 5 min from 3 dentists in Colorado... but I drive 40 minutes just to go to this dentist in W.Y., because they have the best customers service and I feel like they truly care.

Ive been through a lot of dentists, both private and military, and across four states and two countries. This guy is really one of the best Ive seen. Hes fast and effective. Hes a bit on the pricey side, but for the quality of work you cant beat this place.

They were so friendly and easy going. This was my first time going to the dentist without my mom and they made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Witing if you want professional and easy service.

Best cleaning I’ve ever had! I was so nervous to find a dentist after moving here because I never trust anyone with my teeth, but I absolutely made the right choice. Meghan Harrison was my hygienist and she did a wonderful and careful job with my teeth. She was also so knowledgeable about teeth and gum health that she answered any questions I had and even helped me learn how to floss and brush more effectively for my mouth! Meghan was so kind and I’m definitely scheduling cleanings with her again! Seriously, loved this cleaning!

Fast visit, very efficient, but they dont provide any over the counter pain killers for my toothache. They are kind enough to provide treatment to the sum of over $3k for a single tooth though. Ill be looking else where.

I am very happy to have found this dentist practice. The team there is great, very caring and accommodating. I have terrible anxiety and fear when at dentist ( root canal performed on me without anesthesia in a third world country) and the staff didn’t question me or make me feel like a baby! They just hooked me up to the nitrous and Dr Whiting is very quick and efficient. I’ll keep going there as long as I live in cheyenne!

WOW!! What a great experience! It had been a little bit since I had been to the dentist! Elizabeth was FANTABULOUS! She told me everything she was doing and explained she found. She put me right at ease through the whole thing. Dentist Dr. Whiting came in and he too made me fell at complete ease. He looked at what meds I was on, looked at what Elizabeth had done, asked me questions, came up with a plan. Can you tell yet I am so happy I chose here to the place for all my dental needs!!! My first visit was very pleasant. I was very happy with the care and the service. The prices are pretty reasonable and the 40 percent off for veterans was a big help for work my husband will need. The free first cleaning and x-rays was a plus and the price of future cleaning great also.

Went in for initial consultation for much needed dental work. Wasnt expecting to have it done same day but they made it happen! Im so ecstatic! I just moved here and hate setting up new providers. They took great care of me and were so fast. Love the people, kind, courteous, professional. My new place!

My 3 y/o and I went in for a cleaning today. We are new to the area and this is our first place to try in Cheyenne. They had a super helpful and friendly front desk. She even turned the tv to cartoons for my toddler. When we went back for our cleanings, the hygienist was very quick and gentle with my toddler. Positive experiences are so important at this age and he got just that. My cleaning and X-rays took longer than expected because my hygienist took extra time to clean under my permanent retainer. I usually do not get that much attention to that area which has created buildup. Anyways, another hygienist was very helpful while she did not have a patient she took my (steadily getting antsier) toddler around on an adventure showing him rooms and tools. It was such a relief to know he was learning and having fun all while I was getting worked on. We are looking forward to going back!

Don’t go here ... and just to let everyone know that are viewing their reviews ... that most of the 5 stars are from their clients that were offered a Starbucks gift card!!! I was told to give 5 stars and leave a good comment to receive one ... They are all over the place and unprofessional... and will bill you for stuff you have never received ! I have paid thousands of dollars this year up front ... not to include having dental insurance and I’ve only had one procedure done ... but I still have managed to have a thousand dollar bill sitting !!! Save your self the time and find another dentist because this office isn’t it PLEASEEEEEEE!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Wyoming Cosmetic & Family Dental. I am glad that I decided to finally try them even though I waited too long. I ended up having several impacted teeth. Since I am not financially well off we came up with a plan to do one tooth at a time. I got the first one done and the crown fits perfectly and feels like a real tooth. The entire staff is friendly and professional.

The doctor and the staff have all been great. Helpful and caring. Answered all of my questions fully.

I came in for my regular cleaning and Heather was professional but personable and kind throughout my visit. I just love the way she interacts, smiles and laughs. Jen is great as always and does a wonderful job of keeping it all together. Dr. Whiting is great too but he always forgets to ask me if I’d like to pull a treasure out of his treasure chest when I’m finished! Maybe that is for those patients less than 60? My whole family loves this practice and Dr. Whiting has a one stop shop. We’ve had crowns, bridges, braces, root canals and even an implant. We’ve been coming to WY Cosmetic and Family Dental since we moved to Cheyenne in 2007. These guys are fantastic and not only do they always do a great job, they make the experience fun...well maybe not fun like going to an arcade or put-put golf but as fun as dental care can be!

I had a broken tooth that needed looked at I was there for maybe 20 minutes for that. They decided due to the condition of the tooth yo pull it. They had it scheduled for an hour later and that maybe took 30 minutes over all. Quick and great dental work done I would highly recommend to family and friends.

Excellent staff-- quick response times-- safe & clean environment.

Their operating hours are not correct or even close. They do not respond/call back voicemails. Do not go here. My wife is in the middle of a temporary crown and her experience has been terrible. The temporary hasn’t stayed on and she can’t eat. There is no computer or phone at the front desk therefore they can not tend to the customer face to face without turning their back to answer a phone or use the computer. If I could give zero stars I would. This may be the only way to get their attention because they never answer their phones.

Do NOT choose this place for a dentist. I have had nothing but constant issues with the scheduling and billing. Not only did I have to revisit the dentist three times for one issue, but the office also lost my appointment once and canceled an appointment another time without confirming with me. I havent been to this office in over 8 months and paid all costs up front in full, yet just received a bill in the mail for $800 with no description and no previous notification about an amount due or pending. I previously had issues with the amount I was actually billed (padded with additional fees to try to get insurance to pay more) compared to the amount I was quoted. Clearly, the staff is less than capable of performing basic daily office tasks and make me regret the day I chose this place of business.

Megan did an outstanding job of explaining my dental needs and ways to improved my dental hygiene.

Helped with a hard situation with a 70 year old family member who needed a lot of work. Helped with dentures and calling with questions and worked with care credit and helped us look everything up as it was my husbands card and he is deployed and wanted it used for the zero interest. They were able to help us and be patient with situation. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I can NOT say enough good things about this dental office. I flew into Wyoming last night from Henderson where I live and my tooth abscessed swelling up my entire face. I have no insurance and was horrified at what it was going to cost me to get it fixed. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Aleana and Taryn at the front desk. When she told me they would do a complimentary exam because I had no insurance and I did not live in Wyoming I just about broke in to tears of joy. Then Shelby took me to the back and seated me and I lost it. I began crying from the embarrassment of the condition of my teeth. I didnt even want to open my mouth. She was so kind and compassionate I just love her and how she talked me through it. Then Dr. Whiting came in and again with compassion told me exactly what was wrong and what I needed to do once I return home. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics to take care of the infection. Next, I saw the office manager Jen. She too was so kind and compassionate and told me the meds should help me feel better and told me when I get back home I needed to treat the problem. She wished me well and that was it. No charge and surrounded by the most caring people Ive ever come across. Do yourself and your family a favor and go see this dentist. You will never want to see any other dentist again. I promise. Thank you Wyoming cosmetic & family dental. YOU ARE A STEP ABOVE ALL THE OTHERS. And your old fashioned bed side manners and caring staff is truly a blessing. Thank you all for helping me.

I went 20 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork but was told they were in a staff meeting. I came back 10 minutes later to fill out paperwork that took roughly 15 minutes to fill out everything and was taken back to the exam room shortly after. The hygiene tech was not very friendly and after 45 minutes of taking numerous exrays and doing her exam told me that they didnt have time for me and Id have to come back for my cleaning. Then Dr. Whiting came in to check the xrays before sending me off to the scheduler that explained I needed thousands of dollars of work done when my last dentist said nothing of the sort just 6 months prior. Overall I feel dr. Whitings staff is inadequately trained and dr Whiting does what he can to milk you for all he can get and I will not be back.

I have been tying to get my issues with my teeth fixed. And while I know my issues with my teeth are my fault, I didn’t have the money to do another procedure. When he asked me about care credit, I told him that I had to use it on my dog unexpectedly. He then told me that maybe my dogs need to go on the back burner. Wrong thing to say to someone who just put their dog down earlier that week. I’m sorry that my dogs will always come first. Not paying him thousands of dollars. He doesn’t care. I have called and told the girls that work there about this incident. And all they do is say sorry. Never once have I heard from the doctor. So guess what bud, you are on the back burner. I will never return to someone like this.

I never have had a primary dentist, and when I got dental insurance through my job I went to Wyoming Cosmetics & Family Dentisry. The staff has always been fast and pleasant and they always make suggestions for my next visit. I have never had to worry about billing, and all my questions about co pays were answered up front. The office staff also does a great job with reminders. Dr. Rawlins is also very quick and friendly. I will recommend.

I am forever grateful to dr. Whiting and his team! After searching all over to find a decent price on adult braces, I was at the end of my rope. Dr whiting quoted me at less than half the price of every other dental office in town, and my teeth were straight in 6 months time.
