As someone that does not visit a Dr. as often as I should, I was very happy with NorthShore and Dr. Anderson at the Chesterton office. She took the time to listen and go through the process of elimination to helo me figure out what was going on. I definitely appreciate the time that was taken at each visit and all of the follow up.

Just started seeing Dr. Venepalli in Chesterton for my 10 year old daughter, she is absolutely WONDERFUL! Weve seen her twice now, shes always great, answers all questions and gives a lot of information on health issues, etc. The ladies up front are great also. Super friendly, and were always in and out of there very very fast. We will be going there for as long as we can!

Great place to go. Waiting time was minimal, even though it was my first time there. Time with the Doctor was adequate and not rushed at all. I will be going back for further appointments and will be making them my primary care. Northshore in Chesterton came highly recommended and now I know why.

I was referred to the Chesterton clinic by one of your employees Shannon Wilder who is always so helpful and promotes all that Northshore has to offer. There are so many services etc. that I didnt know existed hence the 1st appointment I had with nurse practitioner Shawn Kroft at the Chesterton Middle School yesterday. It was such an easy, effortless appointment and the first on time appointment Ive had for as long as I can remember! She has great bedside manor and I think she is an amazing addition to the Duneland School Corp.Northshore is doing some amazing things around this town and many others and I couldnt be more pleased to have had the opportunity to use a service that was in my own backyard!

Got my first covid-19 vaccine dose here very friendly staff quick and easy in and out within 20 minutes looking forward to my second shot coming up on the 28th

I love this office. The front office, the nurses, Dr. Venepalli; everyone is very efficient. I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes. Every appointment has been about an hour all together. Not only are they swift, but the quality is superior.The nurses are so gentle with kids. Dr. Venepalli is phenomenal. She is so knowledgeable and caring. I love going here. I am so thankful to have found it and will continue bringing my toddler here.

I have been looking around for a doctor I like for my children for too long now! I finally found one and I am super happy about it! Short wait times and I love the pediatrician! She answered all my questions thoughtfully and was very gentle with my daughter. I highly recommend this place.

I had a great of a experience as far as going to the Doctor can be. Kimberly Summer realy was caring and listened to everything I said. My blood pressure was extremely high. I dont have insurance till I get on Medicare in November. Instead of putting me in the hospital she made a deal with me. If I come in every Friday till we bring it down she wouldnt hospitalize me. She also gave me a coupon for the medicine. Kimberly thank you.YOU ROCK.

I love this place. The women at the front desk are really nice. Never before has it been a pleasure to go to the Dr. but i actually love going here. Its very rare for me to find a doctor that has great skills at being a good communicator. Dr. Kimberly Somers is the best. She listens, she explains things and she has made me feel great about taking care of my health. She hears what im saying about what my body is doing and she knows exactly what to do with me. If i could give her 10 stars for her and the nurse that works directly underneath her, i would! Just love them!

My daughter and son both see Dr. Venepalli in Chesterton. She is amazing. She is very helpful and answers any questions you have no matter if they seem “silly” to you. I would recommend her 100%! It is so nice to have a pediatrician that you trust.

Very helpful providers. And a convenient, easy to get to, facility. The price for my appointment is always extremely affordable. I didnt have to wait too long in the reception area. The only things that I didnt like are that the parking lot is too tight and I guess I am used to waiting some 30 minutes to meet with my provider in the room.

We have been coming here for over a year now and are very pleased with Dr. Venepalli and all the staff. Every time we come everyone is so friendly and professional. I’ve never considered looking for care elsewhere. I wouldn’t say it is a walk-in clinic but they usually have openings if you have an urgent need. So thankful we found this place. They are awesome!

I was not seen until about 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment and I requested to see a physician and paid for one but was seen by a nurse practitioner which was disappointing because I canceled an appointment with another medical facility for the same reason. I felt that should have been discussed prior to my appointment but definitely during it. The doctor did come in for about 30 seconds. I will not return to this place The staff was were professional Especially the reception women.

I had a Prenatal Visit 2 weeks ago, I was unable to be seen because my Dr. had to go assist with a delivery. That was understandable, however the way that the office staff handled the situation was Unacceptable. First off I never received a call stating that my Dr. wasnt there. I changed my number a couple of days before and I let North shore know that. When I got there I was told they tried to contact ,me but my number was disconnected. Which I advised I changed my number which should have been updated. They have my email address as well, which they sent me an email earlier that day advising me of my appointment. So the office manager was very rude to me, the way she expressed herself, which made me uncomfortable. I am pregnant and didnt need the extra stress that I had to deal with that day by the office manger. I was able to bee seen later on that day at the Hammond IN Clinic. Unfortunately due to that terrible experience, I have switched Drs offices. which means i had to switched my Dr which was very nice.

The Clinic Staff was very nice and helpful. Wouldnt mind going for any future medical services. Good job staff and keep up the good work! :)

Awesome staff and great service. I walked in right when they opened and they were able to schedule me an appointment for 11am. The receptionist was Katie and she was very helpful. My wait was short and the doctor was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be back!

I visited the office in Chesterton Indiana and was very pleased. Dr Hess is the best and I couldnt ask for a better gynecologist. If you want a doctor that really cares about your health, Northshore Health Center is the place to be.

Always wait at least an hour after your scheduled appointment. Just to see the actual Dr. for less than 5 minutes. Nothing is discussed or taken seriously at this place. After being seen the same day, my son ended up in the ER with SEVERE dehydration. The hospital was shocked at the lack of care provided from this place. Their policy is to make you return every 3 months for daily medication refills even if they are not narcotics, for example, blood pressure meds. So you wait over an hour just to be told yep we sent your refills to the pharmacy. Finding a new doctors office for my children and I and NEVER looking back.

All experiences I had with North Shore were not good. I scheduled an appointment for one location in Portage, go there, and they could not find me in the system and sent me to another location. Their mistake. The doctor I saw at the time did not even know what I was there for! Went back again for a separate issue, a skin condition that was clearly misdiagnosed and I just had to figure it out for myself over trial and error. So much for specialists. My recent couple of visits to the Chesterton location was the last draw. The woman who drew my blood just seemed miserable. The doctor who is supposed to be my primary specialist, could care less. The RN was great so I can not rule out all of the staff. And the cherry on top, the nail through the coffin, the final reason I will never go back to this community of health care was when I went to make an appointment at the end of the visit and the receptionist turned off the computer for the night and was like oh, um, well, I already shut down the system... and laughed. Who has the last laugh now. I have great insurance and will spending much time and money somewhere else.

My fiancée & I were new patients at the office today, and we both had several medical issues we needed to discuss at our appointment. We were told that we were only scheduled for a 15 minute appointment and that we were to each only pick one thing wrong with us. We both had a whole list front and back of issues we needed to discuss. I’m sorry, but a new patient should get at least 30-60 minutes with the provider. That is absolute BS! My insurance pays for my bill there, I’m not a free or discounted customer on their sliding scale. I deserve to discuss my issues with the medical provider!!! My fiancée has been having blood pressure with the bottom number in double digits. Today his BP was 158/98 and they made him choose between his BP and his anxiety to talk about. She prescribed him a cheap/old medication for depression with not-so-good side effects that I’m not even going to allow him to fill! then they decided he should be scheduled for a physical exam regarding his BP on a different day. I’ve had nothing but issues from this place. Yesterday, we had a taxi coming to pick us up for an appt (which we had to reschedule for today. I called the office to let them know I might be a couple minutes late because the taxi didn’t show up. We were told we had to be 30 minutes early EVEN THOUGH we had already done our new patient paperwork and they refused to see us yesterday even if we would have made it on time. We will be finding a new provider that actually cares about their patients and doesn’t just see us as a number!

This facility is the best Ive ever been to ! I have been Ill for over 2 years and my old doctor told me nothing was wrong. After my 1st visit at North Shore they found out what was wrong. I highly recommend this facility they treat you like a human being.And most of all my nurse practitioner Shannon Gavin is the most caring professional Ive ever had the privilege to meet ! She goes above and beyond to help you find out what is wrong and quickly readies it. She deserves100 stars! She is a gift to the public and the medical community!

I love the staff at the Chesterton office! I live 35 minutes away, but I come out of my way to go there. I booked with Dr. Venepalli for my daughters one-week appointment, solely based on availability, and have just loved her so much that were still seeing her 2 years later. I suggest Chesterton Northshore to everyone!

Disappointed with every aspect of this clinic. Lady at the front desk is short and unpleasant. I came in for my first prenatal visit, I was asked a ton of yes or no medical questions and never had a chance to bring up concerns I had. I managed to bring up one and it was completely ignored. I asked if they could refill my inhaler prescription and they said they would, boy did I feel dumb when I went to pick it up from the pharmacy and it was never sent. Went in for a separate appointment for an ultrasound, they gave me the worst pictures I’ve ever seen. Didn’t tell me a thing during the procedure. I had to ask how far along I was and when my due date was at the end of the procedure because I wasn’t told. I just felt like I got the bare minimum of everything. I canceled all my future appointments with them after that. I would also like to point out that getting a different doctor would not help, I barely spoke to her anyway, she came in did the pap and that was all. It was the entire staff that needed improvement, from the receptionist, to the nurse who asked me all the questions, to the ultrasound tech. I made an appointment for an ultrasound to find out the gender because the ultrasound tech told me I should make an appointment between 16-18 weeks. Drove an hour and a half to find out that first of all you can’t just make that appointment without a doctors order and I didn’t have one (don’t know why they let me then) and on top of that they can’t tell you the gender until 20 weeks so no idea why she told me 16-18. When I discussed this with the manager she didn’t seem to be concerned with the actions of her staff at all but told ME what to do differently next time to receive the care I expect. Now I dislike this place even more and will not be back.

Always greeted immediately upon entering the office. Facility is clean and modern and all of the staff are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to have all of your medical needs taken care of. Most in one office location!

Lisa is amazing and so is her nurse Wendy. The entire office was great. They accommodated me on a walk in basis and helped me with my issues at hand. I am greatfull for them to be able to see me on my lunch break.

Arrived at clinic with daughter at 3:30pm still waiting to see Nurse Practitioner currently and its 4:14pm horrible service wait time is ridiculous. Front desk receptionist would state she was next to be seen about 30 minutes ago. I never experienced any issues at the Portage location will definitely not be returning to the Chesterton locations. Finally made it to the back in the patient exam room at 4:35pm and still currently waiting to see Nurse Practitioner very disappointing I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone. Seen By Nurse Practitioner Lisa who apologized and cleared up the reason for the extended wait time which was appreciated.

The doctors I seen took the time with me to understand what I was trying to explain. They helped me to get to the root of my pain and orders the tests I need to find out what’s going on. I feel confident that we will get answers and I will soon be pain free thanks to my doctors.

Honestly wish I could put zero stars. I went to see Dr. Hess when I found out I was pregnant with an IUD in. She took the iud out ordered an ultrasound and blood work and never scheduled a follow up appointment or discussed the results with me. I had a miscarriage on Tuesday night which required a blood transfusion and surgery to stop the bleeding. I could have died and just wish I would have chose a doctor who offers her patients more counseling and support. Some people should have their licenses and certifications removed.

I was at first seeing Dr. Girn, he was treating me for my diabetes he was one of the best Doctors I have ever had. When he left he recommended Dr. Shannon Gavin I have been seeing her for the past year I am happy to say that my diabetes is under control due to the doctors at Northshore. I would highly recommend North Shore for anybody that needs a good doctor.

They don’t deserve no star today I went to this clinic in Chesterton Indiana and my daughter had a appointment for 9:45 am and I had 3 other children that had appointment and they put a person that had one child before me and I really feel like it was a racist situation and she was friends with the lady at the front desk. Them I spoke with the manager Erica and she gave me and I don’t care attitude that’s why I walked out and I will not be bringing my kids to this clinic again

The staff makes you feel like you matter. I was able to call in and make an appointment that was close to home. I would definitely suggest Northshore to my family and friends.

I simply LOVE NorthShore in Chesterton IN. They are so kind and willing to make a visit a great experience. They try to get you in when needed ASAP exspecially with a sick child. Dr. Kenepali is Wonderful and very caring with children. Clean and very little wait time. I have visited other office I recommend highly for the quick in and out and excellent doctor.

Dr. Venepalli is one of the best pediatricians that my kids have been to. I really don’t like using the urgent care because some Drs or NP are hit and miss but she is one of the best.

The Chesterton Northshore is absolutely great and I recommend it to anyone needing a PCP, OB/GYN, and/or pediatrician!

Horrible they arent attentive to your needs. And when you make an appointment they still make you wait two hours or more I left because Im not sitting next to sick people and waiting on a room to be opened they are the ones that need to put people that make an appointment first horrible experience. Moved on and found a better place

I woyld give them 5 stars because they give quality care and accept medicaid, but after questionable things regarding medical records we go elsewhere. Most doctors and staff listend and attended to needs, but had a not so great experience with on NP who was on a power trip.

I have changed my rating to reflect the distrust I have. I dont appreciate being lied to by a healthcare provider. I will no longer use this facility for my primary care.
