Its better and faster to go to the emergency room than wait 2 hours wearing a mask and never get seen by anyone. Guess since being im older, widower and fat you are the last to be seen. Back is so bad hurts to move, sit, walk and arms numb, a complete waste of time. The clinic urgent care I thought would be better than taking up space in the emergency room but I was wrong.

Phenomenal staff - from front desk to doctors! I had 3 ligaments repaired by Dr. John Backus in November and I have had zero issues since. After the surgery, it was SO EASY to contact Dr. Backus, through his medical assistant, which was very convenient, since I live an hour and a half from the office. Would definitely recommend this office!

The staff is phenomenal. I have had two other hip surgeries in TN and was not treated as well as I was here. They were thoroughly wonderful, from prepping for surgery, information, helping with bathroom breaks and putting clothes on to leave. I traveled from North Mississippi to see Dr. Pascual-Garrido. She has a great staff. Registration, pre op, OR, and post op, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Thank y’all for taking care of me.

Dr. McCormick is an excellent and care about his patients. He is smart and known the ankles. He does listening to me about all my concerns. N.P. Mueller is a good, too. She told me that my ankle is broken and the best treatment plan to heal my ankle. I believe that the whole staffs are concerns and good people. Keep up the excellent works

The doctors here are just fine - pretty standard service. But the scheduling is an absolute nightmare. I had to wait an hour and a half this morning for my daughters scheduled appointment, and we had the first one of the day! The last time we came, the wait was nearly three hours, which is completely unacceptable. If you must go here and you work for a living, youd better take at least a half day off or get docked some money. When I went up to the desk to ask what was happening at the one hour mark, they said theyd call us back to the office next and we sat there another 30 minutes, watching people whod gotten there well after we did go see the doctor we had made an appointment to see. I am livid and will make sure we go to Mercy next time.

I had a very disappointing experience with the walk in clinic. The doctor who saw me is not an orthopedic doctor. As a result, I was misdiagnosed and experienced extreme pain until I made an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. The orthopedic doctor that I saw was excellent. Unless you are going in to seek help for a minor injury, I would not recommend the walk in injury clinic.

I hurt my ankle on a Friday evening and was struggling to find an orthopaedics specialist. To my surprise they were ready to take me in at 11:50 AM on the Saturday when they were closing at 12 PM. The doctor made a great diagnosis of my case - gave me a lot of confidence and prescribed a simple treatment. No wonder it is one of the leading practice in the country.I would highly recommend it.

They may only charge like a doctors office visit, but beware of the x-ray cost. We walked out without being seen after finding out the cost of x-rays. This place charges hospital prices for their x-rays and they x-ray every patient before they are even examined. I asked if I could get my child examined by the NP to see if she needed x-rays first because of the cost, and was told no. I asked if she could be seen for an exam and then I could go get x-rays at another radiology place and I was told no. I was told I could go to urgicare and get x-rays and bring them to the appointment before she could be seen. Their doctors refused to order the x-rays needed. I had been to this clinic before and the x-ray for my daughters sprained ankle was almost 900.00. I thought maybe it would be different since my insurance company changed. It was not different. I got my copay back and left. As a nurse, I am proactive with health care. Unfortunately most people are not and just sign the consent. They have no idea what they are paying. This is not a hospital, but they are charging like one.

I’m even hesitant to give 1 star. I saw Dr English for my knee and then she left the practice and I saw Dr. Halstead. Halstead never ran any tests or scans only sending me to PT for over a year where my knee got progressively worse. Instead of him taking the time to believe me and how much I was in pain I switched to a different practice. After switching to another practice I got knee surgery 2 weeks later because of the damage.Would not recommend having him as a doctor or attending this practice.

Lindley B. Wall, MD and staff are top notch! Appointments were easy to make and the wait time after arrival both visits were very reasonable. My son broke his hand out of state and we were able to use the x-rays and his dads out of state insurance to start the initial assessment with no delays. The staff in every department including the cast room and registration are all very polite and professional - Id say upbeat which is a welcomed experience. I would recommend this location for the ease of (free) parking and the speed in which you move through the visit. Overall a very great experience and I highly recommend Washington University Orthopedics Dr. L. Wall for any hand injuries.

I took my daughter in after she hurt her back at wrestling practice. Dr. Estes would not order any scan of any kind. I told her she has bulging discs and hasn’t had a scan in a year and a half. She didn’t care. Said the Insurance company wouldn’t pay for it. Absolutely had no answer for what happened, what was causing the pain or what to do about it. Just go to physical therapy and take steroids. I go to the VA and don’t have really high standards. This lady was horrible. I told her the only reason I am there is to get her back scanned. She didn’t care. So I Read all of these other Reviews saying they are forced to get xrays before they even see a doctor. It Really sounds like this place has Terrible Management.

What a money grab. Brought my daughter in for minor knee pain after a small fall on carpet. Am not a doctor but knew could be no more than a strain from experience. I do not go to doctors myself as I think the whole billing process and insurance is a scam. But to be safe thought would have her checked out, and Washington orthopedics sounded reputable. Was told to fill out roughly 6 pages of paperwork. I told my daughter that I am wasting my time as nobody was going to look at this anyway. Had about 3 pages completed when they called us to the next room. When asked again for my ID and insurance card I told them I just gave it at the main desk. I was told that was for the doctor but this is for the xrays. I asked why she needed xrays when the doctor had not even seen her yet. Was told that is just standard procedure and that the doctor would not evaluate her without an X-ray. Now I am feeling exactly why I despise going through a doctors office billing machine. But thought how do I tell my daughter we are getting scammed, and getting the heck out of here before all the hands are reaching into my pockets is more important than getting her looked at. So proceeded the whole time knowing she is likely fine but she has to hear it for herself. I asked if I needed to keep filling out the paperwork and was told yes and it will be important for the doctor to see this. Took xrays and doctor checked her out. Could not have been 10 minutes for the whole process once they had all my insurance info. Of course was a strain. But to top it off, I walked out of the exam room, and into the reception area still with the clipboard of paperwork. Not once did anyone ask for their busywork back. I set the clipboard at reception took off the paperwork and walked out with it. Nobody’s said a word. And this was in the evening and I was the only one there. Not like a busy morning. I know I am going to get a massive bill for a total of a twenty minute process door to door. Good thing is my daughter learned a life’s lesson. If your gut tells you the place you are at prioritizes getting into your wallet before getting you better, walk out. And unless you absolutely cannot get better on your own stay away from doctors and this whole process altogether. Unfortunately it just cost me a pretty penny for her to learn this.Other doctors we have brought our kids to for injuries at least check them out before sending them for xrays to be sure it is needed. What a rip off.Have now learned am being billed $248 for the 5 minutes the doctor was in the room and am being generous. Am used to dealing with $500/hour corporate lawyers but at least they work for an hour. Billed another $350 for xrays I am confident another facility would likely decided were not needed if they looked at the patient first. Good grief. Know nobody works for free and visits cost, but this is ridiculous and over the top.

I saw Dr. Colorado over the course of three months, starting in December 2016. I only was able to see him three, maybe four times over that time. Dr. Colorados medical assistant was so rude, condescending, and downright mean she literally had me crying and begging for return appointments due to the severe pain I was still experiencing at the time. This person (Jessica ?) would argue and question everything I said every single time I spoke with her regarding the efficacy of my treatments and the need to see Dr. Colorado again. She would never schedule an appointment for me without speaking with the doctor first, and when she did call back she was always confrontational and once even stated, I told you I would call you back! That woman left me in tears so many times I, for the first time in my life, felt it necessary to contact the business manager to complain. Due to the poor communication skills of the employees, extreme 6-8 week intervals between every single appointment when suffering from severe, unimaginable pain, I switched care to a pain management facility and was seen in three days. I have since seen a neurologist and my primary care physician, who has referred me BACK to Washington University Orthopedics to see Heidi Prather, D.O. I contacted their office yesterday, but because I have seen Dr. Colorado there in the past, I was told by the receptionist that she would have to get authorization from Dr. Colorado for me to see Dr. Prather. I received a call just now stating Dr. Prather would be willing to see me, but I would have to accept her first available appointment in November! Six months to get an appointment! The attitude taken by the physicians and staff at Washington University Orthopedics demonstrates their lack of concern for their patients. The treatment to patients by the staff AND physicians at Washington University Orthopedics is of the lowest caliber I have experienced in my 30+ years of medical employment! I wont be returning.

I had very painful carpal tunnel during and after my pregnancy. The doctors told me it would go away after a month, but instead it got worse. Finally my friend told me to go to a hand specialist a month later. I was so uncomfortable and also worried that my wrist would always be weak which would have been horrible since I was a new mommy. I called Washington University Orthopedics and was thankful to schedule an appointment with Dr. Calfee that week. During my visit Dr. Calfee explained that my symptoms were common and easily treated, and that he saw a new mommy at least once a week with the same story. He gave me a shot which was a little nerve racking at first, but he was so calm and friendly that it was a piece of cake. I am so happy with my experience with WashU Orthopedics and especially with Dr. Calfee. My wrist was surprisingly back to normal the next day. Also, I really appreciate that I was seen right around 11 for my 11am appointment. I hate when doctors make you wait forever. Overall my experience was fantastic and I really appreciate Dr. Calfee and his staff for making such a scary appointment simple and actually enjoyable.
