17 year patient atConway internist. 15 minutes late for what I thought was an appointment I was on time for. I was told I would need to reschedule though I had taken off work without pay and due to anxiety, which I was seeing him about, was already stressed about going out. I would definitely not recommend Dr Marion. His PA Beth Howard is amazing but unfortunately you have to see him once a year and its just not worth dealing with his egocentric personality.

We moved to Ballwin three years ago and needed to find a doctor.....and boy did we! Dr Marion is kind and thorough and he really knows his stuff

I just moved back to the St. Louis area and chose Dr. Marion as my PCP. I am a tough critic because as a nurse, I have a very good understanding of a providers ability to care for his patients and I can honestly say, Dr. Marion is at the top of my list. He is thorough, kind, compassionate, explains treatment options completely, listens well, and is considerate of a patients needs both medically and financially. In addition, he called me personally with my lab results even when there werent any concerns, asked me to tell him how a new medication was going and when I did so via the portal he responded directly to me himself. I also commend Dr. Marions staff for their follow through on ordered tests and treatment. Everything Dr. Marion and I discussed was coordinated without anything falling through the cracks. Excellent collaborative team from front to back.

Dr. Marion is so reponsive to my medical needs and in addition has an excellent and professional office staff with various roles. Im often impressed at the quick and effective communication and resolution of any issue or concern I have. Great people doing good work.

My wife and I changed doctors after 25 years with one dr. Dr Marion is very compassionate, more important unbelievably knowledgeable about ailments and medication. He truly cares about your health. Awesome doctor and person.

He seems like a very Nice man and I’m sure with some more years of practice, he will become an even better Doctor ....But I have several health issues (chronic pain being one)I take a lot of meds, I had a severe flu/cold over this long winter and I flat out was given wrong meds....he prescribed them and I knew immediately that he was not knowledgeable about interactions that I would have (serious) concerning the other meds I’m on. He even wanted me to go off of my High Blood pressure pills and I just knew and “felt” this was wrong. I tried going off ONE pill and had complications, took my pressure at home and it had skyrocketed. Immediately went back on that pill (and that wasn’t even all of the additional blood pressure meds he wanted me to just “quit”). You CANNOT do something like that w/out having withdrawals, this goes for MOST meds you take on a regular basis. He also did NOT know the interactions of different meds, that someone like me takes...and this he actually admitted to. His staff gets easily confused and does NOT give him messages when you keep calling several times in one day (that could also be him just not returning calls) But this is VERY IMPORTANT when your talking about very sick people, it’s flat out unacceptable. My parents are thinking of changing Doctors because they go to him as well (which quite frankly concerns me) AND my Cousin used to go to him but she has a rare heart problem and decided to quit him as well when one day she ended up calling 911 for an ambulance and quite frankly could have had SERIOUS repercussions from not doing so. He put her on a wrong med when she happened to catch the flu and from there things escalated. She actually had been totally misdiagnosed by him And to make matters worse, his staff was NOT on top of their game, as in NOT giving him IMPORTANT messages. I Genuinely hate leaving such a bad review of him, he is nice But nice only gets you so far in that profession because you are dealing with people’s health and matters of Life and Death.I’m hoping that things turn around for him and I wish nothing but the BEST for him.
