Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing! For so long I have been having trouble finding a doctor who actually cares and listens to my concerns. 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician! :)

I have been coming to this practice for a few years. I decided to stick with Dr Patel after they transitioned from Bon Secours to Chesapeake. I have had good and not so great experiences. To start with a new PCP is just too much work and good luck finding one that is accepting new patients. I feel comfortable with the staff and know the provider well. I also understand the business side of it. In todays primary care world you get 5-10 minutes face to face time tops. The providers are forced to meet productivity in order to receive any sort of compensation. I dont blame the physicians. I blame the system (government) for paving the way for this inadequate system of patient care. So for me to keep bouncing from provider to provider is a complete waste of time. Unless I am lucky to afford concierge medicine.

She come in the room for 2 minutes. And will send you home when you have a blood pressure 165/130. But quickly to take your money. And want give you a chance to tell whats going on. But I love her nurse she seems to care more.

My experience was and is currently exceptional. I absolutely love the nursing staff. They make you feel like family and welcome you with open arms. Its not just in and out like they are there just for a paycheck. Dr. Patel and her supporting nursing staff actually care about you. Like REALLY CARE. I talk to her and the nurses like Ive known them my whole life. The environment is welcoming and relaxing. As for the other review above me, that can be true. I was told to reschedule when I was 10 minutes late. But whos fault is that? Mines.... Her schedule can be packed and needs her patients to be on time so she can give everyone the care they deserve and because she goes by this there is never a long waiting time. I love my PCP and all the nurses especially Jazzy. Yall are awesome

I am a new patient. I am very happy I found Dr. Patel. She is fabulous. She was very easy to talk to and asks a lot of questions to learn about me. I look forward to a long and healthy relationship with Dr. Patel.

I respect her more.my last primary Dr could learn from her,she ask questions about me to understand me.her nurses are great also.I like Jasmine she is caring and smart thoughtful. Now that she is with Chesapeake Regional Hospital I love her even More Thanks Dr Patel

Nursing staff awesome!!the Dr herself very attentive.she did nothing for helping me with fibermaylia pain.her referral to pain management was no better.she agreed i wasnt getting better but she doesnt participate in disability,or meds.every thing she prescribed was stuff i tried and didnt work well with me.however if i found a disability doctor she would be more than happy to include her input.she treated me like i was on drugs.anytime i call for something she was worthless to me for my treatment.very unsatisfied

I had an appointment at 9:00 on March 29, 2018. I arrived at 9:05. After signing in, making my co payment and waiting about 7ish minutes the front desk said the doctor won’t see me because I was late. SMH Are you guys seriously cancelling people’s appointments over 5 minutes.
