This office is the best. Never have to wait, everyone is very efficient and all the care I have had done - is 100% tops. I personally dread going but they make your visit very comfortable. Would highly recommend this team.

This practice is the bomb. All the staff and especially DR. Edenfield.They have taken me from someone not being able to smile to someone who looks as though I was born with perfect teeth.They have always worked me in with any emergency. Never made me feel bad because of the condition of my teeth. And they were bad.Other dentists wanted me to get false teeth (I’m in my 60’s) and I was determined not to do that.Dr. E worked with me at every turn and kept finding ways to save what teeth I had and make use of caps and bridges and a partial.When I smile now, I have the beautiful teeth I had as a young woman.Thank you to everyone at Edenfield dentistry! It was my first visit and first ever dental visit for my son. I highly recommend this dental office. From booking the appointments to the cleanings and visit from the dentist, all were fantastic! The receptionist, assistant, hygentist, and dentist were all lovely and I can say it was truly the best cleaning Ive ever had.

Great service! Nice easy regular cleanings and exams. Very friendly interactive staff. Costs are reviewed up front before future services so you know any out of pocket expenses not covered by insurance. Would recommend the practice to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

The staff at this office are all amazing! Both hygienist are very personable and the dental assistants always provide the best care for my family. Dr. Edenfield is a big guy, but is extremely gentle when it comes to crowns and root canals. He is 4-0 for successful major dental treatments for me. Dr. V has been a great addition to the Edenfield family (my kids absolutely love him). I have made this place my dental home. I love this place!

I liked my dental hygienist. She took care of my daughter and I. She was gentle, took her time with me and had a great vibe. The dentist was cool too and also the office staff. That is a hard thing to accomplish, having every role in the office do their part and be on point! Im sad I have to go back (my first cavity) but at least the staff made my first visit a good one.

They were very friendly and punctual. I was asked multiple times if I was good and comfortable during my cleaning. It was overall a good experience.

I just want to start by sharing that Dr Vail and his assistant , Aylah I believe were amazing humans today . Aside from being very professional and skilled dentists , I had a panic attack midway . They never once seemed annoyed with me . Dr Vail used many techniques to calm me down. They let me talk a walk outside and offered water. It was just a beautiful moment for humanity and awareness of mental health. The staff was very professional and kind like always ! I recommend everyone needing a dentist to Edenfield !

Absolutely amazing experience! My first time visiting was today it felt like Ive been a patient my whole life. Dr Vale and his dental hygienist were really patient, did not rush , addressed all 87 of my concerns... well not 87 but a lot, and most dentists wouldnt take that time to truly assess and explain, what, why, how and provided very reasonable dental plans for addressing every concern I had. Always a pleasure to meet with Dr. Edenfield. This is a terrific practice, very convenient, a huge improvement from their previous location, the business office is always thorough and polite. The dental technicians are happy to see you, and thorough with cleanings. They care about your comfort too in the chair, checking for fit and even providing a pillow for my tall frame. Their location is very clean and they have adapted their business practices perfectly for COVID to balance convenience, comfort, health and business. If anyone has an issue with this practice, then theyre expectations are beyond reasonable, or they need to change their personal latitude. Thanks for moving to our neighborhood and Happy 2021.

The Edenfield office is amazing! I have continued to work with Dr. Vail, who is amazing! I was so nervous about being a newbie to fillings and he made me so comfortable! They truly work with your schedule and always there for questions.

This was by far my best dental experience since Ive been in the Hampton Roads area (3 years total). It was extremely easy to book an appointment, they were able to get me in within a week to fix a broken filling. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The ambiance of the office was extremely relaxing. I didnt feel as if the process was being rushed, and my concerns were heard and addressed! I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dental procedures, and even though they had to use a needle to numb the area, it honestly wasnt painful like past experiences with other dentist. Im looking forward to future maintenance with this group!

Today was my first time at Dr. Micheal Edenfield Dentist office! The Dental Hygienist name Lynn went the extra mile to remove any plaque or stains from my teeth that she found on the x-rays! She really made me feel comfortable with getting my teeth cleaned due to the fact that I have not got them clean since 2012! Dr. Vail who was my Dentist actually made me feel comfortable as well, when had came in and check my teeth after Lynn had cleaned them real good! I would highly recommend anyone who looking for a new Dentist office to come here! You will not be disappointed by the good excellent customer service they have!

I have always been afraid of needles and I hate the sound of the drill when getting a filing. So, for years I would be with music and gas when getting a filing done......lol but today I was able to get a filing with just the gas! Dr. Vail and his assistant were both awesome! They made me feel comfortable and would not start the procedure until he knew for sure that I could not feel anything. Thank you Dr. Vail and your handsome assistant for making me feel safe, comfortable and relaxed!

Very pleasant staff. I left my other denist because I never heard back to proceed with my denal plan and they were very pricey and stacked on things i really didnt need. Instead, at Edenfield, on my first visit, my dental concerns were heard and preparations were being made same day! I look forward to getting my dental work done at the end of the month! I feel more comfortable with the cost as well.

Contacted the office, and would you believe they were able to work in?? It was not just incredible, it was affordable!! Dr. Edenfield and his staff, including his wife, have always been professional and welcoming to their practice.

They do not practice covid safe protocols. Three people out of 6 staff were not wearing masks covering mouth and nose with in 5 min of me being there. So i explained my concern and that i was learning. One of them said i was cranky. They did not apologize. Never will i go back.

I have been coming to this dentist for a few years and have always had a great experience. I need extensive dental work and they work well with my schedule and my budget constraints. Giving one star is generous. This office has the most unprofessional staff I have dealt with in any setting. My family member had the intention of getting work done from this office, but their lack of honesty and unwillingness to show any kind of patient care forced them to go elsewhere. They processed a claim as if they did work, and when confronted by us and our insurance they stated they did not feel they should return the claim because they made plans to do the procedure and we just didn’t show. It didn’t exactly happen that way. Long story short, they committed fraud and have been approached by my insurance company’s fraud investigation unit.

Once again another good experience! Thank you Kim and Dr. Vail for the friendly and professional service .I am thankful to have this business in my community.Keep up the great work!Excellent care with COVID 19 guidelines enforced. Thank you.

After seeing an oral surgeon, the price they gave me was more than having four root canals and crowns done by Dr. Edenfield’s office. Not only did they save my back four teeth but they are the kindest hardest working people I have ever met. I am truly grateful for the people that work in this office. He worked on my teeth for 3 hours straight without taking a break. Always stopped and checked on me. They made sure the entire process was comfortable and pain free.
