My first time visiting this salon. The service was excellent. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the business. The salon is very clean. They practice Covid-19 safety protocol. My stylist made me feel extremely comfortable. She listened to my interest and dislikes. My hair is very curly and difficult to deal with on a daily basis. I loved the music selection, it was very eclectic. The other stylist were very friendly and funny. At the completion of my service, I was extremely satisfied with the outcome. My hair was very soft, silky and bouncy. Something that Im not able to achieve when doing my own hair. My stylist recommend certain products that will aid in me doing my hair at home in between visits. I definitely recommend this salon.

I found my new go-to stylist Kev around a month ago and havent looked back since ! He does an amazing job with my hair every time , and as someone who isnt fond of doing my own hair his styles last pretty long . Im fully natural and go to get a good wash and silk press and Kev kills it every time . I refuse to let anyone else in my hair now ! Montina has been doing my hair for years! I’ve followed her to every salon or suite. Now that she owns Xpressions, I travel all the way from Charlotte NC 4 times a year to get my hair done professionally. I won’t let any other professional touch my hair. She restored my hair back to health after another cosmetologist destroyed it and I was devastated. She specializes in healthy hair, color, and customer satisfaction. Ive visited this salon numerous times for several different services. The salon is very diverse and every stylist specialize in something different. You can literally get everything done there like hair color, hair extensions, haircuts and kids services. Ive been to Sabrina for a sleek ponytail hairstyle, Ive been to Montina and Keisha for my braids. They all do exceptional work. Montina also does my nails. I get polygel nail enhancements and they last until my next fill. The salon is always clean when I visit and I always receive wonderful service. Xpressions is the go to place in Chesapeake.

My daughter is natural and I have coarse hair but Montina always seems to work ‘miracles’😊. I love love love this place! Tina is really good at what she does specifically how she treats children! There are not many places you can take younger children to get their hair done in the Hampton Roads areas, especially ones that you can trust! Tina loves the kids and she loves her job! I would recommend her or any of her staff here at Xpressions they all do any amazing job from coloring, to weaves, cuts, etc. The environment is nice and clean and the quality of service is worth paying for!

I am thoroughly impressed by the great customer service I received at the salon. Staff is courteous and friendly. It is not like other salons. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. And the location is in a great location and easy to get to, but not in a super busy location. Parking is a plus!

I recently got a relaxer done by Madison at Xpressions and she did a GREAT job! I had not had a relaxer in over 2 months and she bought my hair back to life. Montina and all of the rest of the staff were professional and pleasant to converse with. The salon is extremely clean with a nice atmosphere. I am going back and would recommend to everyone.

I went to Xpressions Hair Salon for a haircut due to the high quality of reviews. Needless to say the reviews were spot on, except for the one star. I first entered the establishment to a warm and comfortable setting. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Even though I just received a haircut from Montina, it was a great experience so much better than those chain haircut places. I would recommend this salon to yes, all my male friends to go to for a nice quality haircut and great atmosphere.

Montina did an incredible job with our 3 year old’s braids! She was quick, gentle, sweet, and was able to deal with wiggles without getting flustered or messed up. So nice to get a toddler wash and braids without a single tear, we had a happy kid the whole time!
