The school prism is a great school to start your LPN. The staff is very helpful especially Matt Hamilton. Matt is so pleasant, so professional, enjoys his work and always there to help you. I really appreciate Matt , he is such a blessing. He answered all my questions that I had ready for him. And in so many ways I am just so glad that I met Matt. And the front office Ms. Carol, she was also there to answer my questions and she was very helpful.

Alonda Tate played a big part of my nursing career not only after school was completed, but also during school she helped me become a successful student and test taker & later... an outstanding LPN today (for eight years now). She was very structured, resourceful, patient, caring and straight to the point! A great teacher that I learned from!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend her and if you want to benefit from expertise, find her at THIS nursing school campus!!!!!!!!!You will not, at all regret it!

When I went through my long process of becoming a nurse, I found support from Ms. Tate (she is at this campus & shes my mentor). I passed my test after being out of school for 7+ years and in the yearsssss of studying (prior to her support) I fell off a few times. Once I met her, I still fell off but I got up and tried again (and again) and eventually I got tired of starting over. I was also going through lots of personal stuff at the time. I got focused and put my all into it and she was there for me as a great teacher and mentor. She is still here for me until this day (whenever I need her). It is important to know, you will get nothing from her without it incl tough love for sure (especially when you need it most), its for your license...so glad I listened to everything she said. I am a successful LPN today and Ive been a nurse for three years now. If you need someone to hold you accountable on your journey to becoming a nurse, enroll here and JUST PLEASE LISTEN TO HER!!!!

My experience while going through nursing school was hard just like everyone else. BUT I made it though! My first experience with NCLEX, I failed. I failed because I did not listen to the available NCLEX mentor on campus. Once I listened, she was SUPER strict, but she told me that at the beginning of her helping me. She also explained she was only tough on me because of my distracting personality, and she knew I needed strong structure. The second attempt, I mastered my state exam in about 30 minutes with the least amount of questions. Today I am a LPN (been one for 6 years). The support ANY student or graduate needs is available at this campus!

My experience with this school is very disappointing. I dropped out of the program after four weeks due to an issue With an instructor. Who many people had a problem with, and we were raising our concerns only for them to fall on deaf ears being told to work out something with an instructor who basically doesnt care in her words,” I got my degree.” After all the calling & emailing numerous admin and not even getting a reply back. One was kind to send me a text letting me know she got my multiple calls & emails. Very unprofessional PRISM!!!! I believe they have this instructor is there just to fail some so they can take even more money when they fail you like you not already paying a ton.

It has been 4 amazing years since I graduated nursing school and 3 years since I sat down to take the most challenging exam in my life. An examination that knocked me down once and I was so completely discouraged about it. Let me tell you, please...let me tell you who gave me the determination and support I needed to pick myself right back up again, Alonda Tate. I owe Ms. Tate everything! She never gave up on me, even when I was depressed. She pushed me (really pushed me), and believed in me, at times more than I believed in myself. Again, she not once, gave up on me! She believed in the dream I had. She aided me in overcoming my extreme test anxiety. It was Ms. Tate who supported me with passing my class exams and the most important exam of them all, NCLEX-PN. She truly has a passion for what she does and because of it she wants the absolute best for all her nurses (students, graduates and licensed nurses too). She has even encouraged me to become a homeowner since I became a nurse. My credit has improved a lot and I’ve benefitted so much from listening to her. When I say, if you want the best? She is the BEST TO ACCOMPLISH THE GOAL OF SUCCESSFULLY ADVANCING THRU NURSING SCHOOL AND PASSING THE BEAST...NCLEX! Be well aware though, to achieve your goal of becoming a nurse under her guidance, some great advice I will leave for whoever is considering enrolling here...just please LISTEN to whatever she expresses for you to do (she will not steer you wrong). You WILL SUCCEED just like I did!!!

Prism Career Institute is an excellent training company that helps all qualified and motivated individuals train for and earn entry level positions in the medical field. I have referred multiple people to Prism and they have only come back with glowing reviews. Their staff is knowledgeable and great at leading and teaching. The service they provide is great and I highly recommend Prism to anyone looking to get into the medical industry.

As a retail employee for 6 years I realized that I needed a career change, I enjoyed helping others and have always wanted to become a Nurse, so I took the leap and enrolled into Prism Career Institute. The faculty was great and the instructors were very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I had a great experience, many times frustrated but never gave up. I passed the Nclex on my first try and I am very proud to say that I am an LPN.

I was looking to attend this school for the lpn program after reading the reviews i changed my mind.and advice to whom ever is over these schools .no one has money to throw away on teachers /instructor s who don t want to teach the right way and help other s get theirs .Evil and down right mean .god does not like ugly and i feel those who can t do the job the right way should be dismissed, Im sure the facility does not want to lose money so get rid of the dead weight.

Unprofessional, my daughter went out on maternity leave. They told her to call a week before she comes back. She has been calling them. All they done put her to a answer machine. No one has responded back. Than they sent her a letter saying that they are dropping her from the program. Because they didnt here from her. Which is a lie. They think Im paying for her to go there twice. They do to much Fleming flaming at that school. The government needs to close there services. We will be calling around for a lawyer.
