Absolutely love Edge Fitness of Cherry Hill. Best gym in the area, convenient location, and super CLEAN! I love the open layout of this club. Staff is super nice and always eager to help when they can!

Dont get me wrong I love my gym but it is totally frustrating that the same equipment keeps breaking down and it doesnt get replaced. Example....the water fountain. It is broken more than it works. Ridiculous. Just replace it. Seriously.Btw....Ashley rocks!!!

Although the weekday morning shift front desk people are a bright start to my day….. DONT COME HERE IF YOU WANT WATER DURING YOUR WORKOUT. The water fountain hasn’t been working for a solid month. I’m not exaggerating about the time frame. How do you have the busiest gym in the area but no water for all the people that workout here….?

Great parking lot for car meets after business hours. During the pandemic, many car enthusiasts have been sitting at home, so its nice to get out sometimes to park n chill.

Today was my first time visiting to take a tour of the facility. Upon entry I felt motivated to start my fitness journey. The music that filled the facility was upbeat and the colors used were bright and inviting. I was greeted and assisted immediately. The gym have so much to offer. Although, the massive amount of equipment and in some areas the lack of space I could see they were following CDC guidelines with roping off equipment 6 feet apart. Which was a plus for me. The facility have up to date equipment, relaxing wine down areas with massage options, a womens only work out locked area, and an abundance of different class options (which includes yoga and more). The membership cost is affordable and I didnt feel pressured to sign anything on the spot. Definitely, a five star experience so far.

The Edge and their trainers have been a huge part in the progress that I’ve made over the past two months. Dylan met me at my level and challenged me to get stronger with each session. The Edge Strong classes motivated me to work harder than I would have on my own. Having more energy than I’ve had in years and being healthier is worth the cost.I initially joined The Edge when it first opened but had to cancel my membership once my son with special needs was born. I had ZERO issues canceling. Reading the contract and following the directions would prevent the frustration that some members have encountered. This facility is clean and well-maintained. I never saw any issues with non-compliance of masks, etc. It’s great to be back and I’m looking forward to making more progress.

Ive been a memberber at this club since day 1 ! Front desk Ashley , Benjamin , and Donald are super perfessional ! Also , the night time cleaning crew are very hard working and clean the bathrooms and equipment very thoroughly! I feel 1000 % safe working out , at the cherryhill location ! Keep up the great work guys !

Very great place! All the staff is very nice and helpful. I have been going for 2 years and have not had a bad experience yet.I even spoke with one of the trainers recently, Dylan, about nutrition. I was not fully ready to dive into it, but he was very great (not sales-like) and told me hed help when ready.Highly recommend joining!

Great gym. All 3 workers at the front desk that I encountered were positive and helpful. The gym was very clean and well-organized. Anyone should be happy to work out here.Also a 5 star review was needed to offset the few silly negative reviews about the mask policy. Masks were optional. As a small business, no one should be degrating the business with bad reviews this way and no one should be exercising with a mask on.

Been going to the gym for 3 years, and it has been the best experience ever. Friendly staff and gym-goers are super cool. Even though it gets crowded, everyone practices social distancing, cleans the equipment after use. Most of us are familiar with eachother by now and feels like your visiting friends and family. Most important aspect of the gym is results. Im 50 lbs lighter, low body fat and Im in the best shape ever. If it wasnt for this gym, and the positive culture there, I would have never reached my fitness goals. If your looking for a clean gym, nice equipment, friendly staff, cool gym goers, and well educated trainers - look no further. This is the best gym ever!

Became a new member last week 4/7 and already disappointed in this gym. I signed up for personal training $286. I decided to cancel the personal training today due to personal reasons. I haven’t attended not one session or group class nor used their gym at all since signing up. Today I was told that I won’t receive none of my money back that I paid for personal training. So be aware that this place has no care for their customers and will take your money. To not refund someone’s money back who hasn’t started any personal training sessions yet, only tells me that this gym is a fraud. Definitely won’t recommend this place to none of family and friends.

A good array of cardio equipment and machines as well as strength training stuff. Only 3 stars due to their contract periods which I hate as well as their setup, it feels very crowded in there even when it isnt and I think its partially due to the fact that the personal trainers have a little cage that nobody else can use, this doesnt stop them from working out on the floor and taking up multiple pieces of equipment at one time. I like all of the variety but it feels like the space is mismanaged and its incredibly annoying that you are stuffed into one half of the building while another 2 workout rooms are dedicated to additional paying members. There is a womans only area but you have to pay for the highest tier to get it which means if you dont you are subject to working with a bunch of chads who cant keep their mask on and travel in groups of 2 or more with zero concept of personal space

Honestly my trainer was cool at first then it all turned into a “it’s just business” type of environment. Not that I didn’t know that from the beginning but the constant up sales even though it’s explained that due to financial difficulties you can’t afford it, and when you try and explain that over and over it’s exhausting. When asked to to stop they catch an attitude.

Social distancing at this gym is pitiful at best. I constantly see both members and staff wearing masks incorrectly. The staff does absolutely nothing about it. I literally saw someone with a hole in their mask around their mouth on several occasions, and that is just not acceptable. Also, temperature checks? Yeah right, the only staff members that do it right is the morning crew. I feel bad for the cleaners who have to do their job in the midst of a bunch of maskless people. I am extremely disappointed that I even took a chance on this place and wasted my money.

To the Owner: I am not sure what some of these commenters are seeing or talking about. Everyone wears masks at this gym at all times and social distance is always maintained. In fact I was removing my mask while I was walking out the door to go home and someone asked me to put it on to go through the door. There are plenty of stations that provide the necessary material to clean equipment. It bothers me that people are commenting on the staff not following precautions because they are. And very diligently. Please take the comments you’re seeing from the pandemic crybabies with a grain of salt and come see for yourself.I have been using this gym for months.

I was working out and people kept coming up to the benches next to me not wearing their masks covering their noses and some had them completely down with full exposed nose and mouth. I gestured to one of the trainers as he walked by to show him the group not wearing masks right next to me, and he just ignored me. Why am I paying all this money to get COVID at the gym?

If there was a negative amount i could put i would by far the worst gyms ive ever gone and dont even attempt to cancel your account because they will say you never paid them when you did

For anyone looking towards Edge as an option for achieving their fitness goals I would recommend a different gym. When the gyms reopened in September I sent a message on Edges contact forum and called the store about having my membership being kept frozen. I was not and am still not comfortable going to the gym given the Covid situation and the fact that I live with my grandfather. I called a representative at the beginning of September and he said that my account would be kept frozen for a period of time.However I just realized today that Ive been charged over $100 in the last 3 months (September - November). I called and explained the situation to the representative there, but was told that there was no record of my account being frozen and that a refund would not be given. Its really sad that Edge cares more about money than the health and well-being of its members and their families.

This place is a terrible. The staff are super arrogant and the owner is even worse! I complained that someone came right next to me and started working out without a mask on, and they replied What do you want me to do about it? Um, how about your job! Not going back again.

COVID central. Went for a tour in Cherry Hill and left right after. Many members without masks or wearing them wrong and a lot of the equipment is not 6 feet apart. It was crowded, too. The employee who was showing me around was walking by people without masks and did not say anything.

I have mix feelings about this gym. I really hate their contract. They should have a none contract plan as every other gym around. Think twice before joining.

Members can sign in with the App and could even see their personal Training Schedule.I highly recommend to everyone to take some personal training sessions with their Awesome professionals training Staff, and while being part of the Edge family for the last 17 months I couldnt even come up with anything negative.Yes the parking lot is always full because everyone likes to workout at this gym,Yes the weight Room is always packed, there is a capacity issue at every gym between 5pm & 8pm you have a choice to come by earlier or later in the day/night, the gym is open 24/7.Yes, you will find worn out equipment like in all busy gyms, just report it and the staff will change the rope cables whatever sooner or later.Oh No, you lost something, you misplaced something, they do have a Lost & Found Dept.Oh no, you didnt find this this gym motivating like you cant stand the smell of sweat then kindly go to behavioral therapy you dont belong in any gym.This gym is large, has updated equipment and is maintained relatively well and unique for self motivating people with a good attitude who appreciate that South Jersey has a Manhattan Equinox exclusive style Gym.

I actually used to enjoy this gym until the pandemic started and learned that this company/manager Damon don’t care about it’s members! I received zero communication on when they were going to start billing again after they opened and since I’m no longer interested in visiting gyms due to the pandemic they refused to return my 40 dollars even though I haven’t visited them since February!!! Never again will you guys have my business and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know about my situation! This $40 is gonna cost you guys a lot more money

My boyfriend and I love the atmosphere. The gym is very high energy with great equipment, encouraging patrons and great customer service from staff. Steve, one of the staff is always encouraging and always greets with a smile. The entire staff is very into wellness and very helpful. The gym is very family oriented. My boyfriend and I have been members since the gym opened and very happy!!!!!!

Do not sing a contract with this Gym because when the contract is up they make it very difficult for you to get out of the contract.You have to call and email two different places for you to be able to get out of the contract and the best part is that you have to give them 30 notices (another month basically) .This is completely BS!!!!

Worse gym ever when it come to cancel membership. I have my doctor note I send to them on October and they just charged. So I call them and to see what is going on. They told me that my doctor note is no good and my membership is till going. When I have a doctor said for why I need to cancel my membership and now they just told me I need to get others doctor note. What else I can do. So mad.

Great equipment but always crowded

I find myself increasingly frustrated with the way Edge Fitness operates. The free space is continuously feeling smaller and smaller. With two areas of the gym only open to a paying that also pays separately for a personal trainer. Not only this but the open room has a revolving door of employee meetings and classes. So really it’s like these areas are “out of service” unless you pay more. There are limited machines and weights so unless you come during the perfect time of day; I have found it difficult to have proper training space on the turf, weights or machines. I am very disappointed and it shows the company wants to limit your experience until you pay up. This is the worst business model for long term customer satisfaction. It does not feel like a safe, non-judgmental zone. In fact, the employees come off like “high school students and acknowledge those they consider cool or popular”. They have limited hours and my workouts are comprised based on rushing because they are yet again changing their schedule for a holiday, weekday, weekend or some other poor reasoning. I pride myself in consistency and Edge clearly doesn’t. I give them my lowest rating.

Great value for a low cost. Staff is there to see you succeed. Definitely a nice clean facility and Ive seen some dirty gyms. Plenty of nice equipment everything you would need. Go check it out see for yourself.

They started charging my account even though the kids club never opened, and my membership was frozen. Literally can’t use the gym cuz the kids club is closed. Won’t give refund. To cancel the membership, they told me I have to make 3 phone calls, send multiple emails, and jump through another 25 hoops. Ridiculous. Doug the manager refuses to listen and was plain rude. Still waiting on that $150 refund.

Edge Cherry Hill has top of the line equipment and staff, however, I believe they have signed up way more people than they should have. The gym is entirely too overcrowded and it’s turning into a social club rather than a gym. The staff are nice, but the large crowd is just too much. I will not be renewing my membership.

Great Zumba Classes on Mondays @930 AM, Darlene, her classes are easy to follow and fun. Darlene goes out her way to make sure every member has a great time. Her routines are simple and fun. Great job Darlene.Ciara does a great job on Sunday mornings @8:30 AM, her classes are challenging and fun!!

This gym doesn’t care about the people that come and go as long as they get their money. Don’t sign up unless you want to feel trapped.

Wish I can give it 0 stars!! They do not deserve any stars.DO NOT SIGN THE CONTRACT! They will entice you with their great amenities but once youre in it is super hard to get out. Never had this problem before with Planet Fitness.Willing to pay the cancellation fee, I am still unable to cancel this damn membership. I am moving away and they are want proof of the move. There is no reason I should have to go through this. Its like Im in a cage with them and cannot get out.FYI - They dont let you cancel in person.

Went today (3-Oct-20), and was very disappointed about the compliance to the NJ state mask mandate. Many members not wearing masks correctly (only around their mouth) and some not wearing them at all!! It seems the club does not enforce masks once you walk past the entrance (and some even came in with the masks worn incorrectly!) This is concerning given the number of cases in NJ are rising. Not very safe.

Checked out The Edge after seeing LA Fitness across the street. Cant understand how this is rated less than 4 or 5 stars, the gym is WAY nicer than the LA or even the fitness club Im coming from. Peter set me up with a trainer for my first time back at the gym. I highly recommend!

This place is amazing. (I apologize for the long review)When i started, I was a meaty Mr. Clean. I was nervous about the gym but knew I needed to be better. I started here with a photo of thor and Captain America saying I want this body.Chris worked with me 2 days a week, helped me with my diet, showed me how to do exercises that helped my posture and then built muscle.The ladies at the front desk always greet me with a smile. We all became friends. We always said see you later when i left for work.I really like this place. This is a gym of friends that push eachother to do better and be better.

Run from this place.Seriously worse customer service,very crowded,no compliance with covid NJ restrictions and top of that they lure you to sign contract and keep charging you extra money.Full violation of contracts.I cancel my membership and they told me its canceld and i am still being charged for membership.Absoultely zero value to members.

Edge has changed my life. I have been a member for a year now and I have come so far. I joined last year after the first challenge finale because I was so inspired by everyone’s success. I signed up with Joanie and Don who have both been a huge support and continue to motivate me. I have lost over 50lbs with the guidance of Laura E, who has also pushed me and led me to a healthier lifestyle. Thanks to all the front desk staff along with the sales team and the trainers! Forever grateful!!!

I got robbed within my locker. All I gotta say is watch what you bring in the gym. People still stoop so low these days to being other people down. To think I moved to Cherry Hill because its supposed to be a good town to live in. I guess I was wrong. People need to get a life and learn how to make money the real way and EARN what they have not by taking from others and claiming it as theirs. Other than this the gym is an okay environment

CROWDED, NOISY! I went there on a very rainy day to check out the facility...the place was PACKED!!! ZERO parking, the lot was FULL on a Tuesday at 4pm. All the extras that makes the edge appealing cost $30 a month. The treadmills are positioned almost like if you use the turf to stretch/warm up youre on display. Very young crowd. I felt uncomfortable until I saw the womens area but that feature is extra money. No thanks, I like judgement free zones! Music sucked and was so loud I wondered if my earbuds would be loud enough that i couldnt hear the awful noise.

Spend all this money for a member ship to work out with treadmills and other equipment broken . This is inane and just unacceptable, especially because they have most things down for Covid the least you can do is make sure the equipment available is able to be used . Highly upset and may go to a different location .

Too crowded. Aint no way theyre limited capacity. They close one machine for the sake of social distance but every other machine close to it is open.

Beware of the cancellation policy, IT IS NOT TRUE! They tell you you can cancel there on site when you sign up, but if you ever need to cancel your membership they give you the running around, where you have to email your request first, then they reply telling you it takes 30 days to fully cancel and in the meantime they continue to charge you and additional month even though your contract is over. Gym is nice but very sales oriented, they will push to get you to work with personal trainers .

This gym has everything you need to stay in shape. They offer multiple classes and special edge strong classes. I love the hoist equipment because it normally moves your entire body for form. It has a turf and all women’s area. They also have a lot of free weights in different forms. The massage chair sucks though

Took a free one night pass. This place is amazing, amazingly over crowed never seen so many people standing around waiting for equipment. Looks pretty fancy with its LED lights and big fans but when it takes you twice as long to do your routine who cares about that stuff. Classes extra? The kids daycare looks fun though. Bottom line is that this place looks more like a pick up bar than a gym but ifs that what your looking for ,your in the right place

I normally go to the Edge in Sewell , but I was in the area for work. I was shocked by so many people not wearing masks correctly and the staff doing nothing about it. Isnt it supposed to be the law in NJ or did I miss something? Im not visiting this location again.

This review encompasses all the centers.Pros, In my opinion: This gym is essentially unlike any other gym you will find in the area. I have never been a member of any other gym, but Im pretty sure they do not offer everything that Edge Fitness offers. I especially love the classes that they offer, the womens only room and the cinema room. Edge Fitness is also very welcoming in comparison to other gyms.Cons: Yes, Edge Fitness can get a bit expensive. I truly dont understand why certain classes require an additional fee, when I am already paying $30 a month. I feel as though there are not enough classes running throughout the day and evenings in all the centers in general. Classes fill up very quickly and it can be very hard at times to reserve a slot, ESPECIALLY in the Deptford location. I jump from different centers in order to reserve classes most times.I go to the gym in the mornings, when it isnt as crowded. However, in the evenings, when people are getting out of work or children are getting out of school....it can get VERY crowded.

This place is huge! Over 150 pieces of cardio equipment means I never have to wait for an elliptical or treadmill during peak times. Locker room is fantastic, theres even a flat screen TV in the sauna! Highly recommend.

Great gym friendly staff excellent variety of equipment and classes. Those who mentioned crowded just so happen to be there on the first Saturday the place was open. Pick another day to go or have patience! Cleanliness , haven’t saw anything worth mentioning dirty.

I already submitted an online complaint through the edges website and let the employees know in person and nothing was done so please do not write back to call in or submit anything.I posted a picture for proof. The womens area is always propped open and unlocked. This area costs extra for members to access every month and it is advertised that the door should remained shut and a key card will allow you to unlock it. I recently closed it myself because it was so packed that you couldnt even stretch or use any equipment. Minutes later someone re-propped it open.I told one of the employees and he said that the door was broken which I dont think is true because I used it myself and the scanner worked and I was able to get back out. I asked him when they were thinking it would be fixed by and he said he wasnt sure.I am disappointed because I thought this area was going to be for women. Also that it would be locked and secured. I feel like it was advertised falsely and I would not have joined this gym or I would have chosen the cheaper membership.

I am about a month into my membership here having previously been at LA. I have a few things to say about this gym to anyone looking.First is be prepared for a hard sell. I suggest that you be prepared to walk out before making a decision so the sales cant pressure you.Second, compared to other gyms this is very clean. LA fitness had a certain pervasive funk. I hope that they keep up with maintenance and cleaning as the facility ages.It is is getting a little too busy the last few weeks. I hope that the gym doesnt get too crowded as it is certainly starting to.UPDATE: This place is crazy busy and members are starting to notice. Has been a little friction between member over waiting for equipment.In response to some negative comments about the music and patrons. I personally prefer the music at a louder level. It invigorates the gym and gives you something to listen to when your headphones die.The patrons are the same as in every other gym. Some are big. I am a short guy and have never felt intimidated. If you are insecure and judgmental - consider your grandmas basement or go to Planet Fitness.We will revisit our decision at the end of our yearly membership. In all, my family is happy coming here.

Decent gym for the price you pay.Spacious (if you dont come during peak times 5-9 PM), however a good amount of the mens lockers are broken.Otherwise clean and staff is always attentive.

Do not sign a contract... the employees that are trying to sell you something are lyres and will flat out lie to your face and will continue to tell you there is a misunderstanding.. was told about a promotion for personal training, one month free.. I’ve had 4 sessions in 4 weeks and they are pulling almost a thousand dollars out of my account.. then I read some of these posts .. should’ve read them before..

Great gym but they try to upsell you for classes. They dont offer as many that are included with the low end membership as they suggest when you join. The classes they offer are good though.

I wish there was a way to give this place negative stars. I already did not like this gym because of the way they try to scam you into getting a personal trainer. You sign up and no one tells you how to work the equipment, sign up for classes and the massage chairs. etc. Instead they hand you over to a personal trainer and say its free for the first time when really its a scam to get you to sign up for a personal trainer.On top of this, my husband and I have had a change in life circumstances. When I first signed up I was a stay at home mother with two little ones. The only reason I joined is because of the kids gym which is only open from 8-12 and 4-8. Since then I have taken a job which requires me to work the same hours the kids gym is open. They absolutely refuse to let me out of the contract even though I can no longer utilize the gym. My hubs and I have made several phone calls to Edge and ABC financial over the past week. The only thing we hear is the same brainwashed rhetoric over and over again: you can only get out of your contract if you move, you are military or become disabled. I do not fit this criteria so they are holding me hostage.I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Amazing gym. Now if you could only be open 24/7 5 days a week rather than 3. That is the only negative thing I can say about this place, outside of blaring Pitbull songs on the speakers at 5AM every day ;-). Absolutely amazing staff, super clean gym, great equipment (minus the hex plates and no round ones). Love this gym and the people that work there

Friendly staff members, super clean facility and the atmosphere is great. I don’t see why you would choose another gym over this gym, especially considering the price. As far as what some of the negative comments say about cancelling a membership here...this gym is no different than any other gym, they are all hard to cancel these days.

I love this gym! The theater room is the main seller and the womens gym for privacy. Oh I cant forget the smoothie bar- I was waiting for a gym to get one. This gym has everything you can ask for including a sauna. Great pricing too ranges from $10- $30 a month.

I enjoy coming to the edge, i have been coming for over 2 years since it opened.

Great facility, good location, and overall good employees. There are a few employees that seem to be more of a salesman than customer service personnel, and that is a little intimidating. Also, they enforce the fact that kid smoothies are for children 11 and younger. This is frustrating because after my workout I dont necessarily want a huge smoothie. Offering different sizes would entice me to spend money on the expensive shakes. Overall I am pleased with the equipment selection and class schedule. With the check-ins and reward points, this is a very motivating fitness club.

Worst experience trying to cancel. I told them I had to cancel and they straight up told me no and I had to give specific reasoning which required specific proof. I moved to a place where had no edge gyms and I had sent proof. However they lie to you. It said in a previous email that once proof is sent that I did not need to be charged an extra monthly payment. Sent proof and am told I have to pay ANOTHER month???? Ridiculous company. It is hell to get out of. Don’t do it if you have any doubt you may not go in a few months. Wish there was zero stars.

Terrible Gym! Misleading! They never told me i would be charged 3 months in for an enhancement fee. I was told that the fee was once a year. I was not told that i would be charged as a new member during the first year. I asked a simple question as to why I was being charged this and the answer was you signed on the Dotted line below it. It does not matter how your tone of voice is, rude is rude. You can dress up trash and it will still be trash! You are not supposed to run a business based on contracts and deception. I will never be going back to this horrible place.

Ridiculous gym!You cannot cancel your membership until your 1 year contract in done. Planet Fitness was not like this.Edge has $20 late payment fee!!! Unbelievable! Ive never had this issue with planet fitness even when my credit card was declined.There are annual fee and service fee(??!!) on top of the monthly subscription.Its packed with tons of people at a time. There are at least 100 people all the time, unless youre working out at 1 am to 5 am which are only 30 to 50 people.I will never ever go back to this gym after my contract is over. I dont recommend it to anybody.

Gym is nice and clean movie room clean also ! But they need to make sure the sauna is kept cleaner there should be a sweat towl requirements.. some Nasty members have bad hygiene ..Sauna needs to be hosed down every 6 to 8 hrs or scrub down with soap ..

Amazing facility! Super friendly staff. Very clean and welcoming environment with a womens only center and its KID FRIENDLY!! Highly recommend. 1000000 stars !!

Very nice place, trendy music (a big +) & staff is super friendly. A great place for couples to go & get a good workout. Afterwards, get my protien shake for recovery. My kids love going to Edge kids - they have so much fun each time they go. My favorite part of going to the gym is my Zumba class - its always poppin w/ instructor - Nate! At the end of the day, we have fun, lose weight and be a part of the Edge family. By far the best gym in Cherry Hill.
