They turn people away in pain on crutches for being a little late. Someone who is already having a hard time getting around on their own, obviously could be running behind... No compassion. Especially when people wait a while to get in and have needed surgery for well over a month...who now need to reschedule and wait longer. I worked for a Dr. so I understand policies, but disagree with a few minutes throwing an appt off and further impacting someones life.
I have been working with Dr. Ames on my carpal tunnel issues for the past year. He is very professional and has helped me a lot. He is articulate and able to explain medical procedures in understandable terms. His staff is extremely efficient and my appointments have always been on time. I highly recommend him!
In October and January, Dr. Ames operated on both of my hands. Two fingers on each hand and each carpel tunnel release. The experience was as good as it could be in a hospital. The results of the surgeries actually are better than expected . I no longer have painful trigger fingers and the nerves are recovering so I have reduced hand pain and temperature sensitivity. I expect all of the pain to disappear as I recover.
