A very positive experience with the entire staff. Nicholas was top notch at the front desk and onboarded me as a new patient quickly and efficiently. Dr. Kopp was very welcoming and provided a thorough exam. As a new patient, she asked many questions about my prior medical history and that of my family. Horrid experience. After entering the exam room and after having touched the doorknob, her personal computer, and papers that she reached behind her to obtain, she failed to wash/sanitize her hands, nor did she put gloves on. Her unwashed hands directly touched the areas of my eyes, nose, and mouth with the exam. After touching my face with her hands, she then want back to handling the scope and typing on her computer. She also failed to disinfect the scope that was used on me and that directly touched the areas of my eyes, nose, and mouth. The scope was taken out of her jacket pocket and then after using it on me (directly touched my skin) was placed back in her pocket, now dirty.This puts me at risk for exposure to any number of diseases. Even if the scope was cleaned after leaving the room, it was then placed back into her dirty pocket, now contaminated. In addition, even if she washed her hands after leaving the exam room after touching all surfaces upon entering the exam room, her hands would be contaminated. During the exam, she was 3 inches from my face and yet continually spoke ( I was unmasked for the exam) thus exposing me to any number of transmissible diseases, including possibly the deadly Covid virus that is now widely circulating. After the exam she sat only 2 feet from me again not social distancing, which is a must at this time. She refused to do the hair thinning exam, stating that she needs a separate appointment for this issue. She was impatient, not thorough, would not address several of my other concerns beside the hair thinning issue and was not interested in taking the time to help me. In addition, she was 20 minutes late to my appointment with her. My impression of this doctor is that she does not follow proper hygiene practices which puts her patients at risk and also that if your visit does not entail making big bucks for cosmetic procedures, she is in and out of the appointment as fast as possible.

Dont take anything they prescribe without doing research. I took medicine recommended by them to help stop sweating. It helped but it also put me in the hospital because it dried me out from the inside out.

I’ve been using Botox (50-60 units) for 10+ years (every three months) with one provider who does not offer Dysport. I chose to TRY Dysport at Nova based on many great reviews. I was extremely clear with my goals, expectations and previous treatment experience. Dr. Kopp was too conservative for my liking. My recommendation would be for her to listen to cosmetic clients. The staff was kind and the office was clean. I’ll admit I’m a demanding client with high expectations and limited time to return for touch ups. Fortunately my prior provider was willing to fix my concerns with Botox. Please consider another provider if you prefer aggressive treatment.

I really had a bad experience at this clinic. Doctor Kopp gave me some ointment which caused lot of allergic reaction in 2 days. The diagnosis was wrong it made my face too worse. Was unable to step out of my home. Try to ask more questions about the medication before taking that.

Ive been losing hair since I was 21 (38 now). I started out on natural remedies which did not work and then had some success with LLLT. I began finasteride 2.5 years ago and things seem to stabilize. I was looking for the next step, perhaps with PRP. Dr Kopp met with me and was very professional and set me up on a treatment plan with minoxidil and finasteride. Even though I came in to find out about PRP for hair, the office did not try to push the PRP on me and I really appreciated that! The office and staff are great. I’m a woman of color and started seeking out dermatologist of color. I had appointments with 3 dermatologist of color seeking treatment for my hair which I was unsuccessful with all three. My hairstylist told me about Dr. Koop, that one of her client had success with her. I made an appointment , she was full of information that I’ve never heard before .she prescribed some medication for me thur an pharmacist out of Arizona/ Hairtrim. The issue I was having was trying to grow back my edges she explained to me there are four reasons why women lose their hair my issue was Graves’ disease/ thyroid disease.Within seven days I began to see baby hair growing and within six weeks about 50% of my hair was back within two months my edges for back. Even though I was getting good results with the medication my original visit with the doctor was to discuss the plasma rich injections so ;I made a follow up appointment and the doctor said to me you’re getting good results with the roll on medication I don’t want you to spend money on the injections. Had my first facial treatment with Erin Wells. I received a very nice greeting from her when I walked in the door. Was given thorough electronic forms to fill out on an iPad. The time it took for me to fill out the forms and consultation was not included in the time of my service which I am always grateful for! The office and her room are very clean and tranquil. The service was excellent and she was very thorough in explaining what she was doing, what to expect post treatment and suggestions on what I could do to better my results. Erin is extremely knowledgeable as she assists along side of a dermatologist. Her experience shows and is above and beyond your average service. She recommended products for me to try and provided samples to see how my skin responds before spending any moment on products that might not work for me! I hate dermatologists and have for decades! I have had countless horrible experiences that made me incredibly hesitant to seek a new one out but I was in an uncontrollable and painful psoriasis flare up so I made an appointment with Dr. Kopp on a recommendation from my sister who is an RN. I loved the convenience of being able to schedule an appointment online. At my appointments, Dr. Kopp has always taken the time to offer a variety of treatment options based on my comfort level and has always been very thorough in explaining both the pros and cons of those options and never made me feel rushed. Her staff worked diligently to ensure my insurance covered treatment and has always been readily available for any questions I have had after my appointments. Dr. Kopp and her team renewed my faith in dermatologists.

I recently visited Nova Dermatology after spending so much time at an urgent care that gave me creams that didnt even work. They got me in the same day, no wait and very friendly staff. For years I suffered with a reaction that happened to the skin around my right eye. The reaction would cause burning, itching, swelling and skin discoloration. After a week of swollen and injured skin, under my eye would turn black and blue looking like I had a black eye. My freckles even became darker. These reactions caused embarrassment and extreme uncomfortableness. My only PMH was migraines. I took medication often to relieve them and often wondered if any of the prescribed meds had an effect on my eye. Penn, Neurologists, PCPs, all suggested that this was happening due to a chemical reaction from ingredients in make up, cleaning products, an old injury etc. It wasn’t until I met Dr. Kopp that she assessed my eye and figured out that I was having fixed drug reaction to a specific medication that I was taking for my migraines. Since she made that diagnosis I stopped using all products that had that component and I haven’t had one reaction since. It took one meeting with her and 2 years of prior suffering. Life is so different and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with her expertise.

I’ve been seeing Dr Kopp for 5 years in NYC- she’s the only one I trust with my skin. I cheated on her when she left the city but was so disappointed with the doctor I saw that I came all the way to Whiting NJ to see her....and then she moved again! Before seeing her I used to see a plastic surgeon who left me bruised every time I did an injection. Dr Kopp is so gentle and natural- I’m bummed she moved away but love her new place!
