Navy Federal has been great to me for the last 6/7 years. The customer service over the telephone as well as in person has never let me down. The only issue I had/have is a cancellation of my credit card that states my credit score had dropped. Called to get a deeper explanation which I still haven’t gotten a clear answer.

Customer service is never a problem while Im there. My only issue is with the ATM which is constantly out of maintenance; slow; and only takes about 30 bill at a time. The last point is a problem since I work at a restaurant and only get paid in cash which means I have to go into the store but they closed every time Im out of work.

I would give Navy Federal a five-star but their ATM machine situation needs to improve I stopped past the ATM machine at 2:00pm thinking I will be in and out I didnt leave there till about 3:00 they need to get a faster machine or add another ATM machine.

Michelle helped me today with my business account opening. She went above and beyond to get it done today. They were closed but she stayed even after their closing hours to make sure the account was opened . Shes very friendly and i highly recommend her. Im definitely doing business with them forever. I just cant be happy enough. she a human all i can say.

Why is there only one branch in the Philadelphia tri state area, which is in Cherry Hill NJ, totally unfair to all the thousands of members in the area.Im tired of riding over NJ, when i need to take care of business in a branch

I went with Navy Federal Credit Union because my father spoke highly of them. This location however, was a piece of work.My wife and I were able to get a mortgage from them. Overall the online process is simple and self explanatory. Once we were assigned a mortgage officer and processor things turned for the worse.We would supply the information to our assigned person(s) within the timed deadline.We were urged to ask questions and reach out at any time. When my wife and I had a question, we reached out via telephone and email.March 4th, 2020 we had all our information in for closing. We sent out several replies asking if this information was received and nothing came back. We called staff, the direct number, and supervisors direct extensions to no avail. March 13th came and still nothing was returned. Navy Federal has a 24 hour communication policy, this was NOT honored.This is one example and happened to be the last.There were several instances where this happened. When we reached out to staff members, we were directed to their voicemails. All of the voicemails said to not leave a voicemail as they WILL NOT be checking them. All of our contact persons, were out of office. One was out of office since December 29th 2019.... and it was March 14th, 2020!My wife and I had the final straw, we contacted our realtor whom somehow got a hold of someone. They must have talked to our processor because we finally got a phone call on the 13th in which we notified them that we will no longer be doing business with this branch.The QUICKEST response I got was in an email to the processor saying that our application was submitted for withdrawal.As far as I am concerned Navy Federal is great, but this location needs a revamp. I will not be recommending this site to anyone.

Working with their mortgage processors is a real nightmare. I dont know if they lack competence or interest but what ever it is they could care less about you closing on time. Ive had to work with 3 different people in the credit union and none of them seem to communicate. They asked myself and my agent for the same documents over and over when its been sent weeks ago. After I spent thousands I may be out of luck on my first home because navy federal could not complete and submit paperwork in a timely manner. Im heartbroken. Please do yourself a favor a go somewhere else for your mortgage.

Navy Federal is my primary bank and the only one around for an hour. I was really looking forward to turning in all my coins today. However no machine, means I got to go to another bank. Not the end of the world but inconvenient.So big thumbs down for that. I needed you, but couldn’t be counted on. SHAME!However. Thank you for the rolls but I’d rather not jam a years worth of change in to them.The search continues....

I have recently called this bank about getting an extension on my credit card. I called gave them information they said they were not going to pull any funds from my account till January. It is only December 12th. I just get a paycheck and as soon as the money hits my account they pulled it right out. Not to mention they pulled out my whole paycheck. I called them. They said due to certain information they will not refund my money and they will not grant my extension. I am considered a disabled military veteran. You would think as a bank that serves the military they would be more willing to help. But they are not helpful at all. This bank is the worst bank and as soon as I am able to get all my pay and bills transfered to another bank I will be leaving this bank. If you can find a different bank to use. Do it. They will not help you in any way in your time of need.

This is the only navy federal that relies on machines to count money. The tellers don’t count it because it’s “policy”....never thought I’d hear it’s policy to have a machine outsmart a human being.....I gave them $500 cash in $20’s and the machine said it was $400...I counted it right before I handed it to the teller and she didn’t count it...now I’m sitting head arguing because they stole my money....I’ll be switching to USAA and I’d advise anyone else to do the same.Edit///So after contacting corporate, they have credited my account the $100. Thank you to corporate for fixing this so quickly but I think I’ll still take my chances at another branch/bank

Although I love banking here its ridiculous that the next closest location is more than 40 mins away. Dont ever come in on a Saturday for services other than deposits. The wait is always atleast 30 mins.

This particular branch is a little inconvenient if youre a member and stationed at JBMDL, once you are there its usually pretty crowded. Its a shame that the Browns Mills location shut down. How many military folks access this branch that live within a 10 mile radius?

I love banking with NFCU, the only disadvantage for me is when I need to go to an branch its an hour in twenty-four minutes away😞😞😞 and I dont like driven. I pray they get a branch closer to me. Im in Newark, NJ.
