My husband and I were in the process of selling our first home when the buyers inspector discovered an underground oil tank. Throughout the process of removing the tank, Curren was easy to work with, efficient, and knowledgeable. Gina, our project manager, answered our many questions and helped us move everything along as quickly as possible so that we could close on our home sale. While I sincerely hope I never need another oil tank removed, I would definitely go to Curren if I did!

When we purchased our house we knew at some point we would remove the oil tank, however, we were pretty nervous as weve heard horror stories. We did extensive research and finally settled on Curren. We are so glad we did. First, speaking with Perry who is incredibly knowledgeable, he walked us through the whole process and what we could expect. The day came, and it could not have gone smoother. The crew and project manger were very friendly (even though i asked 1001 questions); the work was done quickly and efficiently. And they left our property in the best condition that they could. A few days later our PM, Gina, contacted us to let us know that there was no soil contamination and no further action was required. To say the least, we were pretty relieved. Their pricing is good, they are honest and efficient. I highly recommend Curren to anyone in a similar situation.

We had hired them to look for septic and oil tanks prior to closing on our home. The report came back clean. After closing on the house we had plumbing work done and discovered we are in fact, on septic. This was a deal breaker for us purchasing a home. They’ve been unresponsive and unprofessional after several attempts to contact them. They even tried billing us twice. Not only do we want our money back, they should be liable for the sewer hook up costs. How can you call yourself a tank sweep company and completely miss a septic tank? I’d give 0 stars if it was an option.EDIT 8/10/21We only communicated through E-Mail. No one ever got back. When we asked for the service we specifically asked for septic and oil tank sweep. It would have been nice to have let us known right then and there that you do not do a septic sweep. As per the other due dilligence, we asked our realtor and listing agent at least 5 times to confirm the house was on public water, which they said it was. I have no idea what listing you are looking at, but all of the listings we have found stated it was on public sewer. Were first time buyers and did every inspection and thensome required to buy the home. We were not in a rush to buy, weve been looking for over a year before we found a place that was in the area we wanted and was listed as public sewer. The entire point of the tank sweep was to make sure the listing agent was correct and that there was no septic. In the future, when someone askes for an oil and spetic sweep, maybe point out right away that you do not sweep for septics. Septic tanks are still an environmental matter.

The Curren Environmental team got me and my family through a very stressful situation. We were in the process of selling a home, and realized that we needed to have an underground oil tank removed and sample testing done on the soil to make sure nothing had leaked. Curren walked me through the process, assigned me a project manager , figured out if we needed permits and took care of this very swiftly. All of their communication was open and transparent.Unfortunately, the soil sample failed, and we needed to get remediation done which Curren also handled for us. This company got us through a very stressful situation by being extremely professional, responding quickly to all my many questions and by getting things scheduled very quickly. The companys years of experience really came through in how they helped me.For anyone facing the impacts of having to remove an underground oil tank - I highly recommend this team.

I was in the process of purchasing a home that had an oil tank on site and I had a number of questions and concerns regarding oil tank removal.I called Curren Environmental and spoke to the manager, David. David could not have been more friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to address all of my questions, which were many, and provided me with the information I needed to move forward. The high level of customer service provided by David and Curren Environmental is rare to find these days, and I would recommend reaching out to them with any oil tank issues you may have.

Curren Environmental took care of a minor mold problem after some flooding in my crawl space. They gave some guidance regarding the grading on my property to avoid the problem happening again. They removed all of the moldy insulation and sprayed the area thoroughly with a mold resistant coating. Their price was slightly lower than the other vendor I contacted. And even though their price was reasonable, their work was very clean and thorough. I highly recommend this company.

We were in a unique situation looking for a second opinion about our UST removal and came across Currens website. Contacted them and spoke to David. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with all of my questions. If we are ever in a situation where we need to use an environmental company again we will definitely use Curren. During this time selling a house, good customer service seems really hard to come by and they went above and beyond for someone who called looking for a second opinion! Thank you again!

We had an unexpected leaking oil tank after demolition at our Jersey shore property. We called Curren, Patrick responded quickly and was very comforting. Gina was our project manager and she was great at responding and making sure the remediation was completed correctly and quickly. They are a thorough company documenting everything. We received our NFA letter from the state 10 days after submission which is outstanding considering the state can take up to 30 days. Highly recommend Curren!!

If something had to be double checked my question/call/email was acknowledged and then a timely response was given. Very professional service.

She was excellent. She explained the process and kept me informed through out. Even on completion she ask if there was anything else I needed. A great company to work with. Professional and kind. As brand new homeowners, my boyfriend and I needed timely consultation on potential mold remediation due to a semi-concerning item that came out of our recent home inspection. We called Curren along with two other companies on Good Friday. Tiffany from Curren was our first confirmed appointment in the lineup. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable right off the bat. On top of walking through with us what the issue was and several recommendations, the consultation was free.I cannot speak to the pricing as our issue is not critical/more having to do with roofing, but would highly recommend Curren based on our pleasant experience with Tiffany alone. As an aside, another top-rated local mold remediation/consultation company was scheduled to come out 1.5hr later - we figured we wouldnt cancel the appointment; however, they never showed. Not even a call to say they were running late. Go Curren.

We cant imagine buying a house without Curren inspecting it first. They saved us a ton of money by finding an underground oil tank the seller was trying to conceal. That meant the seller had to pay for removal, not us. We highly recommend having Curren inspect any home before you buy.

I decided to use Curren for mosquito control and I am extremely satisfied with their service. We have young kids and dogs that are outside constantly and we always had to deal with an excessive mosquito population. Since having Curren spray for mosquitoes, we havent had any mosquitoes at all. We have our yard back to enjoy with friends and family.

Curren came out to spray our yard for mosquitos. While we were totally skeptical the spraying would keep the mosquitos away, we were amazed at how well it worked. We went from getting completely bitten up being outside 5 minutes to spending hours outside. We highly recommend Curren for their mosquito services!!!

As a technology provider, we have traditionally spent more time on client sites addressing and implementing technology solutions such as workstation management, networking systems and installing VoIP telecommunication systems. Over the years and with deployment of client management solution advancements, many solutions can be implemented from off site. This saves clients time in travel and provides a faster response. Our growth has followed a steady increase each year and while we provide what clients view as up to date or state of the art solutions, we ourselves faced an old school problem, we needed new office space. Space that we could configure for our operation as well as to allow client meeting as we have found that clients that retain technology providers such as South Jersey Techies want initial face to face interaction to assess us as a firm they can rely on. Since our initial founding we have come to realize that not unlike technology the purchase of a building has become more complicated. Zoning and construction aside, prior to purchase there is a multiple step process you need to go through to protect yourself from buying a potential environmental on a property. Apparently you buy the property you buy the problem. Due Diligence, ASTM Phase I Assessment, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) surveys as well as steps called Phase II and III all came into view with our property search and eventual purchase. We will be the first to say we know our business well and we acquire knowledge regarding our client technology needs, what we don’t know is environmental. Curren Environmental was a new client (about 4 years) and we had a vague idea that they performed environmental, although quite frankly a service we didn’t think we would ever need. They explained everything about the Due Diligence process and the time frames, cost and liability. In short they got it done, we purchased the new property, we can keep growing.

I do HVAC work, new installations and service. We come across oil to gas conversions or get called from clients that have an oil tank to remove and even mold issues. I’ve tried the rest, these guys are the best I have come across in my 22 years of HVAC experience. I have had dealings with other firms, they all seem to blow a non-issue into an issue. Curren is professional and fair. Straight as an arrow, if you don’t have a problem they tell you, when you do have a problem they really try to find the least expensive solution, I can appreciate that.

We used Curren Environmental for their mosquito services after seeing several of their yards signs throughout our neighborhood and hearing the positive feedback from those neighbors. We use our backyard patio a lot in the summer, and we have quite a bit of landscaping (as well as neighbors with what could be best described as problem areas for bugs). So we have a pretty solid breeding ground for mosquitos and other flying bugs. The past few summers have become unbearable on most nights, and we figured that, worst case, this type of service would cut back on the mosquitos and maybe make it more livable on the patio. We can honestly say, that this was one of the best decisions we made, and the results were INSTANT. After the first spray, the mosquitos were GONE from the backyard, and it stayed that way right up to the next spraying. We have the disadvantage of having untreated properties around us, but that has so far, not been a factor (other than an occasional stray wandering through). The service was not inexpensive, but it was worth every penny and we will renew this service annually,

First of all, i would like to say that if ever i run into the same problem again with an oil tank issue, currenenvironmental is the only company i can trust. I initially dealt with another company which was oil tank services, they removed my oil tank and without testing or anything, the guy is already predicting that the soil is contaminated but thats another story. Anyways, i asked for a second opinion, and i called currenenv and i first spoke with linda which was so pleasant and just so accomodating. She scheduled me to speak with pat who gave me direction and gave me the options. He initially wanted me to go the least expensive route but because the first oil tank company did not do it right and just being on the safe side, i chose to go with the remediation since i did not want to have anymore issues. Gina was the one that handled my case and supervised everything and was so professional and always there when i had questions. This company does not just take your money for the business. This company will do the right thing and the right way all the time . I am hoping i wont have to deal with an oil tank issue again but i am sharing this for people that will go thru the sameThing that I did. Please, do not let other company fool you. Curren environmental far exceeded my expectations. I definitely give them an A+ and more. Will

This company has horrible customer service. The office manager Linda is rude and evasive when I called to complain about workers leaving cigarettes butts, and smoking while sitting on my patio furniture. I called to speak with a manager and was told no one was available and Linda stated she couldnt give me a name only the owner. Linda, offered no assistance or concern when I advised her items were missing from my property since work had begun. Stay away from this company.
