So an amazing experience and they really care. I experienced a different level of expertise that brought me to real conclusions and a different level of sobriety. The focus was not just being sober but being happy and having a fulfilling life in sobriety. I thank all the staff and individuals involved and I would recommend treatment here to anyone or any family member looking to get help for a loved one.

This is an awesome and beautiful rehabilitation center with an excellent approach at drug rehabilitation. They teach CBT, which stands for cognitive behavioral therapy. This is a new approach from my experience and uses SMART recovery techniques, which basically say that all addicts have a decision making problem due to the lizard part of our brain that was evolved long ago in our development. Ive suspected this for years, and thanks to Jimmy I feel as though I can finally have some success in this battle. Thanks jimmy, and I hope you see me playing my sg up on stage some time soon. You rock.

Erica Vasquez was an amazing clinician. She immediately made me feel comfortable enough to tell her personal things I have never shared with anyone in my life. We were able to uncover some childhood trauma I buried deep down and find a correlation to my addiction. This was my first rehab experience so I don’t have much to compare to but the overall experience was worth my time. I learned a lot about addiction and recovery and they made sure to set up my after care before discharge. If anyone is looking to get help, don’t hesitate to contact them and hopefully make it your last rehab experience.

I just got home today and i really liked this facility and I would recommend it to anyone in need of the help. Considering the fact that I was only there for the detox part of it I did get a lot out of the place with all the groups I attended. My counselor Sarah was great and I was very comfortable with her. The medical staff as well was involved with you and made sure you had gotten the medical care you needed and cared about how you were doing the whole time and are very involved with you. Not a lot of places have medical staff that care and are involved with you from the minute you walk in to the minute you walked out the door to go home.

Recently I was at the Recovery Village for a month. This was my first time in a Rehab, and I was quite apprehensive. However, my stay there was a pleasant and worthwhile experience. The Facility was clean and comfortable. And the food (with Steve) was exceptional! The Staff really was attentive and helpful. There were a few Glitches with some of the Nursing Staff and the BHTs sometimes. And a few Personality Clashes with some of the other Patients at times. But that was to be expected. Melissa and Corrine were Great Nursed! Ane the Counsellors/Therapists were wonderful -- Jimmy, Erica, Kristin, & Destiny REALLY helped e to learn about not only my Addiction -- But also Myself -- which has helped me immensely in addressing my Addition and learning Coping and Life Skills to keep me Focused and Clean (Now that I am back out In The Real World!) I also appreciated the Wholistic Approach to Therapy: Including Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, Smart Recovery, Refuge Recovery, along with the Traditional AA Programs. -- Very, Very Informative and Helpful in my ongoing Recovery. I would highly Recommend The Recovery Village in Cherry Hill to anyone who is in need of their Addiction Recovery Programs.

Very nice environment, a couple things though; the beds are not so good, the pictures provided show satin pillowcases with gray thick comforter yet when I got there all you get is a crunchy white pillowcase with a thin white mesh blanket to sleep on. The pillows are very tough to sleep on and the mattress is very hard, they do WAY to many checks in the middle of the night (every 15min) and they do a vital check every 3-4 hours (1am and 3am) waking you up in the middle of the night. The gym and facilities are top notch state of the art with a AMAZING chef who cooks really great food, also the BHT’s Jordan and Nicole were awesome!! Jordan goes above and beyond to assist you in any way possible with a smile always on his face, he very kind and patient and seems like he genuinely loves his job, the therapist Sarah was amazing, very down to earth with a plethora of knowledge to help you go in the right direction with your sobriety, Jimmy on the weekends is the man! Everyone loves him and he carries himself with an amazing aura of chillness and wisdom. All the nurses were very kind and helpful especially Melissa. Melissa is very funny and down to earth with a strong knowledge of sports. Another thing is they do try and push you to stay as long as possible but this place is VERY expensive per night. Everyones insurance is different, but when I went to go over billing with the finance lady we talked to my insurance provider and they gave me one answer that was suitable and affordable yet after I left I was billed with something completely different then what was discussed with their financial advisor and my insurance provider leaving me with a bill WAY over budget so DEFINITELY watch out for the little tricks when it comes to billing because like I said they push you to stay longer than what you may have originally came in for because they know it’s just more money that they receive, especially when this place is roughly $3K a day! Overall it was a great experience that helped me recover and detox safely and I’m looking forward to continue to use the skills I learned from everyone in my everyday life

These guys lied so much to me over the phone before I admitted myself. They said I would have my own room, a TV, and if I left early they would still fill out the necessary paperwork for me to return to work. They told me I would not be required to attend group meetings. None of this was true. Thank God my primary saved my career and livelihood. Most of the nurses were ok, but one of them on 3rd shift clearly doesn’t care about what some patients go through. To top it off they stole my covid 19 vaccine card and my cigarettes. I called to have them returned and. Boost ever called me back.

This is a wonderful place you can definitely say life changing both for recovery purposes and in general. The staff here are the best, recommend this facility 100% to anyone looking for help and assistance for recovering any addiction, with very helpful and attentive clinicians and nurses, and all staff in general; they really make you feel like your home and not to forget the grate food they supply you with in your journey is to die for; 5 stars for sure.

I came in a miserable old 31 man expecting the worst and had a life changing experience. From the staff to the accommodations this has been nothing but a wonderful time for my own recovery. Im mentally and physically feeling better. They have a state of the art mini version of planet fitness for a gym, the food is restaurant quality, the rooms and lounge areas reminded me of a hotel setting as if I were on vacation, the nursing staff and doctors are very attentive to each persons individual needs and try to make as much time for each patient as possible, and the clinician staff has been the best part of my time here. They really treat you like you were a part of their family are are serious about you getting better and getting back up on your feet. This was a 1st and hopefully last time experience but if anything were to ever happen this would be the first place Id want to go to, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Recovery Village has an excellent welcome committee, The detox program followed by the short term, long term classes are very informative. The time they take out with individual care is very comfortable. They make sure that your aftercare plan is fit just for your needs. Nicole, matt, and Kristee have all done a superb job with my stay at Recovery Village!

I went to The Recovery Village Cherry Hill strictly for the 7-10 day medically assisted detox program. My overall impression of the place is positive and I would recommend it as I believe they are operating this facility for all the right reasons. With that being said, I would like to list out some good and bad things I experienced during my say here:Good- The place is brand new and it shows. They did are great job on building the place, everything from the rooms to the gym are very clean and well kept.- The dining facility and staff are fantastic. They will come to your room upon check in and identify any special dietary needs you may have and they will accommodate them.- Instructional recovery and addition education that is provided is open minded and very helpful. They did not just lecture you for hours about how AA is the only recovery method and if you dont follow it you will be right back in here. They covered many different recovery methods and how some work better than others for different people.- Same day intake was fantastic! They were able to get me into their facility on the same day that I called. I called the help line at 0900 that morning and i was in the facility by 1845 the same day ( I had a 3+ hour drive to get there). No other place that I called could offer me the same level of service and for that I am very grateful.- The medical doctors were on point. They were able to provide me with a medication plan to safely detox in away that provided the lowest risk while also dealing with the side effects of withdraw. The doctors saw me everyday throughout detox and were able to change my medications as the symptoms of withdraw changed. Please keep up the great work!Bad- Check in took forever (3+ hours), i arrived at 1845 and was not done with check in till after 2200. The first check in person could only complete two of the intake forms and we waited for 2+ hours for someone else to come to complete the rest of the forms. Please streamline this process, the last thing a person going through withdraw wants to do is sit in intake for hours.- Staffing shortages seems to be a common theme. I understand that this is a new facility and they are working all the bugs out of the system, but one nurse for 20+ patients is unacceptable. Please hire some additional nursing staff or work out a different on call roster to ensure this does not happen again in the future.- Medication delivery could use some improvements. Compounding the staffing shortages even further is the need for nursing staff to deliver medications to every patient 3-4 times a day. On one occasion, staffing was so short handed that people were unable to receive their morning medications (0800) until roughly 1400. If your goal is to provide a safe place for people to detox, these medications need to be delivered on time, every time.- COVID!!!!! I fully understand that covid has made everything harder for everyone in all walks of life, but that is no excuse. Upon entry into the facility you are placed in quarantine for 48 hours until an additional COVID test can be conducted and you are told you are strictly forbidden from leaving your room during this period. You are given a wireless button that is supposed to communicate with the nursing desk to call them if you require anything or need assistance. This wireless button is a joke and no matter how many times i pushed the button, no one ever came to see if i needed anything. On my second day of quarantine i went 8+ hours without seeing a single person (no meds, no checking vitals, no seeing if i was dead). If you are going to continue with this quarantine system, modifications need to be made to ensure people are able to reach the nursing desk if needed.I really hope they take my criticism seriously and make the needed corrective actions. This place as the potential to be a world class detox and rehabilitation facility with some minor adjustments. Thanks,Bill B.

I had such a great experience at Recovery Village in Cherry Hill. I had really bad anxiety when I got there, but the staff was amazing! They welcomed me and made me feel extremely comfortable. This was my first experience in a recovery treatment program and they go above and beyond to fit the needs of each patient individually! Never seen anything like this before and I work in the field. My Clinician Erica was so helpful in getting me to really understand the root of my issues and helped me go at the head on without using substance abuse to num myself. Thank you so much!Therese...The case worker handled all the paperwork needed for me far as job and disability so that I can focus on my treatment without any worries. She was so thorough and prompt with all my needs! Thank you so much! The nurses Melissa, Corinne, Roger, Victoria, Shardae, Kerry, Laura, Genevaand several others were so helpful...(Sorry I didnt write the names due to me forgetting 🤦🏾‍♂️)The Technicians Matt, Mike, Lauren, Nicole, Merly, John, Jordan were great as well. They made sure patients had everything they needed as well as provide the level of comfort and down to earth approach that patients in recovery needed. The Chefs...I was very surprised and amazed how the quality of food is! I felt like I was in a 5 start restaurant each meal we had. Chef Steve, and Donna was so on point with meals! The dessert chef was also so great getting so many delicious desserts DAILY!The facility is by far the best Ive seen. Everything is spotless, the entertainment and rec in top notch, the showers, temperature control from room to room and the gym is PERFECT!! State of the art equipment if you want to stay in good shape after all those great meals LolThe only downside is that there needs to be more Technicians on a consistent basis. Sometimes we couldnt get to the gym or move around like we needed do to not having Techs around.Overall I would recommend this place 10 times out of 10! Recovery Village has the blueprint that all Recovery treatment programs should follow. My experience was great and gave me the tools to never go there again! I mean that in the most positive way possible! Thank you all for the hardwork and dedication to the field of Recovery and Rehabilitation! ❤

!!!!!!DO NOT GO ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! This place is terrible! My husband was there for a month and I couldnt even get in touch with him for the first 3 weeks. He said the place is completely under staffed. He told me there is no one to help with anything and they are really unorganized said They have no idea how to run the place, its sad nice building but terrible managment. He ran out of medication multiple times and no one did anything he went almost a week without his depression medication. I am so upset because his treatment meant so much to my family. My husband is not a needy person and I feel that he wasnt taken care of. The management should really do something about the way this place is run because peoples lives are at stake. I am disgusted but happy my husband is now home. I dont ever write reviews but this is something I feel people should know before entering. They need help and a lot of it!
