We stayed for a week here. The hookups are good...no issues with them. The sites are very tight...and the parking even tighter. I always find it a bit off-putting for a park to charge more for extra vehicles, pets, and kids; Peaceful Pines did. I do understand that sometimes parking spaces are limited, and so trying to deter a bunch of extra vehicles makes sense. But Im not keen on paying extra to have our pet in our RV or to have our two kids with us taking up the same space as we are. In any case, the staff was friendly enough, and the restrooms and showers were clean if very small.I rate 3 stars because the area where the park is located is not the best, the sites are SO tight together, and the costs are a bit much for what you get. Also, they have 2 separate wifi options; neither of them gave a good enough signal for us to use them even just to check email. Plus, a train runs at all hours and fairly frequently just behind the park. It didnt bother us, but it is worth noting in case you are looking for a quiet spot.

A great little park tucked off I90. It was pretty quiet and the trains were not an issue for us at all...Staff was nice and park was clean. Will stay again if and when we come through again. Rates are awesome....

Decent spot for an overnight stay. Pretty inexpensive. Not much to see in the area. The road leaving to get back to Interstate 90 west just plain sucks. Youre better off backtracking the way you came in to get back to 90. It beat us to death in our motorhome. Horrible road, badly patched and maintained.

We just completed a one month stay at this quaint little park and loved it! Its sold out most nights, we can see why as customer service by Tracy and Pete is extraordinary. You actually do camp in the tall pines and it is peaceful. The road quiets down by dark and is not a problem with noise. We both grew up next to train tracks so the trains didnt bother us as others have noted. We enjoyed 3-5 mile walks from the park each morning and many included Eastern Washington University. The town of Cheney is very friendly. Well be back next year. J&B

It is very peaceful here despite being fairly close to a highway and train tracks. You really dont hear either one. The campground is clean and very close to a lake. They have clean bathrooms and showers here along with laundry facilities. Easy back in or pull through sites for campers and RVs. Nice tent spots. All sites have good shade to them. Definitely will be back to stay.

Spent three days there this weekend. They were full to capacity two of the nights with only one or two spots open the other. Not a big surprise. This is a great little park with nice bathrooms and showers that were cleaned daily. The couple that run the place are very friendly and ready to help if you have a need. I also liked The community room with TV and a nice air hockey table to use while I waited for my laundry to finish, in the adjoining coin op laundromat. Yes there are trains that go by but we really weren’t disturbed by them. It was a hot weekend and we had our air conditioning running through the night. I love The big Dandyline puffs, I’m sure they are actually some other kind of weed but they look really cool! There are also some beautiful blue wildflowers outback. We will stay again. Happy camping :-)

This RV Park is great. Peaceful is a good name for the park. The roads and sites are gravelled between the tall pines. The park and facilities are always clean and management is friendly and helpful. They do improvements every year off season adding and upgrading RV sites. This year they are also redoing the showers and rest rooms. No supplies or LP here but all that is available in town just a couple minutes away. The highway is not very busy so it wont bother you. There are several trains that go by daily but they are far enough away that they arent bothersome or noisy (no whistles, just a little engine noise). You will enjoy your stay here.

We stayed at this beautiful small RV Park for 5 nights July 2018. We love it and try to visit once a year. It is in a beautiful area and is well kept. The bathrooms are older but nice. Full hookups but no cable. They have updated their WIFI and we were able to stream Amazon TV with no problem. We love waking up to the smell of pine trees!!! Nice walking area. Close to the freeway and Spokane. We stayed in a travel trailer.

This was a great place to overnight on our travels through this area. Its a small park on the edge of town. The town has several businesses. We went to one of the grocery stores and one of the hardware stores and found everything we needed. The staff at Peaceful Pines was very nice. The gravel sites were level with full hookups including 50 amp. With our Good Sams discount I think we paid just under $35 which is less than a lot of places weve looked at in this part of the country. Its a bit noisy here because were between the highway and the train tracks, but overall a good overnight stop.

Managers are extremely nice and generous. They helped us fix a water pipe after it broke in our trailer. The facilities are beautiful and bathrooms SUPER clean. I have no idea what one reviewer is talking about when they say the rates are expensive. Their rates are extremely reasonable and even generous. These people need to travel more and see what other RV parks are charging...it would increase their appreciation for parks like Peaceful Pines. A great place to stay!

Stayed here for one night while passing through town. We showed up around 5:30 pm on a Friday night with no reservation and they were booked. The very nice woman (I’m sorry I forgot your name!) let us dry camp in their overflow lot for the night. We had access to the bathhouse, WiFi, potable water and dump station. I had read about the trains being a noise problem but honestly they weren’t that bad. We could hear them going by but it didn’t keep either me or my husband awake. The people in the campground were very quiet. No loud parties or anything like that. Thank you so much for making room for us! We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly family owned and operated rv park. Yes, there is a train very near by, but the grounds are lovely and they are well maintained. The Internet worked just fine for us, and the cable was also a plus. They also rented fire pits. The family tries very hard to keep you happy and enjoying your stay. We had many nice conversations and I would recommend them to anyone staying in the area.

Friendly staff and trails to walk. Incredibly clean bathroom and shower room. Showers have private changing area. Discount given for Good Sam members. We were told that trains come through nearby and noticed that you could hear them when they blew their whistle but it did not keep us awake. Not sure if it was because they did not blow the whistles at night or if we are heavy sleepers. Would definitely stay again.

Its so conveniently located near my baby girl in college. We stay here every time we visit. So nice to hear and smell the outdoors. Way better than a hotel! The staff is so nice. The park is very well kept. The tent area is close to the restroom. There was the sound of trains all night, and a tremendous screeching that sounded like a ufo landing, but I personally like that kind of thing. :D

We don’t know anything about the owners of this site, nor anything about the site itself. We live across the street from Peaceful Pines, and feel compelled to warn others about the insanely loud trains that pass by all day and night. Peaceful Pines is literally right by the train tracks, and if these trains wake us and keep us from sleeping, we can only imagine what Peaceful Pines’ customers are hearing. There are about 20 - 30 trains per night and they blow their horns non-stop when approaching each intersection. There are 3 intersections by Peaceful Pines. There is NO way I’m staying in Cheney for another year. After our lease is up we are moving far away from this place, simply because of these extremely loud trains.

How can one describe this as peaceful ?i wish I had read the reviews before agreeing to stay 3 nights. That d####train will keep us awake every night! 😁Fair is fair , I applaud the owners of Peaceful pines upon reading my review, which was made in haste, they offered me a refund for the next two nights. I declined. I find the trains less noticeable I. The day time and with they actually did not keep me awake. The bathrooms are very clean and the WiFi works .😊 sign me an embarrassed but Happy Camoer

This place is overpriced and 10 miles off I-90, which is advertised, however, what is not advertised is the cargo trains running. It is not worth the drive at all. If you are used to trains 100 yards from your RV- ALL DAY & NIGHT this would be a great place for you to stay. Did I mention it was overpriced and noisy? Even our dogs, couldnt sleep and were up all night. It got to the point we knew in advance which direction the trains were coming from and they showed up at least every 15 minutes. We stayed in at least 6 different RV parks on our trip, this one was the noisiest, furthest away, the most expensive and has a name that in no way describes where your staying. The one positive thing I can say is that the bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean and maintained.
