I found my new salon in Chelsea! I live on Admirals Hill, so I was surprised to find a salon within walking distance of my home. Its in a great spot in some old naval hospital buildings right across from the pool. I only saw a couple of reviews on here and other review sites, so I wasnt entirely sure what to expect, but this salon surpassed my expectations. They even gave me some complimentary hot chocolate. :-)There were two hairdressers working when I came on a Saturday afternoon, plus three other clients. Its a relatively small salon, but its comfortable and has a very friendly atmosphere. Debbie cut my hair and did a great job. She did exactly what I asked for and took her time styling my hair and made sure I liked every step of the way. It was $40 for a wash, cut, and blow out. They dont take credit cards, so make sure to bring cash or a check!

Ive been going to Head Inn for almost a year now and couldnt be happier - the service is excellent, the price is very reasonable, and the haircuts are the best Ive had - and Ive spent a LOT of money at pricey Newbury Street salons.

Love this place, best highlights and haircuts.
