Arrived early for our appointment for consult to have wisdom teeth removed. Took time off work early to make the appointment, filled out paperwork and watched every single person 8-10 that arrived after me go back. I asked the desk if everything was OK. She said they had our file and they’re a little behind. Watched a guy show up, fill out his paperwork, and got called right back. He was late for his appointment and got called immediately back. Zero chance I will return. I will tell everyone I know to find another place. Zero customer service skills or care about other peoples time.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Dr. Megison. Im 5 days post op from having all four of my wisdom teeth removed (2 severely impacted) and the recovery has been a breeze. No dry sockets, minimum swelling. Almost back to my full diet and already back to the gym. He and his nursing staff were amazing, sweet and so helpful all the way through the process. I was super nervous about getting this done and couldnt have asked for a better result! THANK YOU

My dentist told me I needed emergency surgery - I was referred to Dr. Hal Jones by a friend and he got me in immediately. He was very professional and did an exceptional job. I was in a lot of pain, I don’t know what I would have done without him getting me into surgery so quickly. Thank you, Dr. Jones and his staff! 💓

Every single staff member from the front desk, dental assistants, CRNS, and Doctors communicated my plan of care in detail ever step of the way. I was in amazing hands and am so appreciative!

I have been calling and calling and begging for first available, something sooner, first cancelled appointment slot from this place, only to hear “no cancellation” and “we don’t keep a waiting list.” My first consultation was cancelled by office and we played phone tag for 2 days to reschedule. I waited months for consult and over a month for surgery. I called yesterday and left a voicemail with insurance and I received no reply? Finally here I am the day before surgery. My appointment is scheduled for 11:45. I have another appointment before this to get my car fixed and they called to force me to move my appointment to 8:30 because the person in front of me cancelled! I HATE this company!!!

Had a great experience , thankful for the nurse staff for putting up with an old man that had four wisdom teeth out! My Doctor was Hal Jones , I sang coming out of surgery me and (Mrs) Mr Jones. Very professional staff all the way around, and glad they put up with an inebriated ol fart!

We had the best experience here! One of our kids has some extra needs and sensory issues (feeding tube). They were so accommodating and explained everything to him. Thank you so much! Highly recommend. Dr Spann was great and the techs/nurses were amazing.

My surgery experience was good, but whoever answers the phone is always rude.

This review is not based on the surgeon nor his dental assistance, the ladies that prepped me for my surgery were so sweet and kind. Unfortunately, I was very upset with the front desk staff. The first time I came in I walked with my referral i had the worst first time impression. I was so tempted to just go find another oral surgery facility as I had just just left from My orthodontist, I was in a lot of pain and the last thing I needed was to be greeted with rudeness. All I wanted was to set up a consultation and the come back was “DO YOU Have A-APPOINTMENT “ I said no ma’am I have a referral. She starred at as if I was from another planet, after repeatedly telling I was referred and had my referral with me from my orthodontist. She snatched my papers from my hand, made faces at me because I had no insurance when she asked. I was waiting for my insurance cards to arrive as I had just started my job. which I did not care to pay out pack as I was in so much pain (this was Dr. Miller’s receptionist).Today, the day of my procedure my husband and I walked in to sign in. Dr. Cannon’s receptionist was sooooo RUDE!! Once again!!! I was not even greeted properly . First thing she did was try to collect my payment, which was ok with me, until I advised her my insurance cards came in and was eligible. Instead of just saying “OK” and doing her job (verifying the insurance) she got aggravated and started complaining that there was not note on file, which I had already spoken to someone a week before and asking if I could bring my insurance the day of the procedure. Which I was told “I COULD”! It is not the customers fault nor a reason to be rude that the staff Did not document a telephone note.This facility has really poor front desk customer service. They surely do not know how to empathize with customers. They act very unprofessional and do not know how to handle situations in a good manner. I have worked in the medical field for 6 years now and it is not hard to verify a customer’s insurance and update it to there account. They have to understand some people may be in pain and are nervous for the procedure they are about to get done. The last thing they need is to be treated with NO RESPECT!

Always a great place to go.. I use to see Dr. Wayne Tipps before he retired and now see Dr. Cannon. No complaints!! Always nice and friendly.

I would not recommend at all! Dr. Cannons bedside manner was rushed and condescending, seemingly impatient when my mother asked a question.But my visit got much worse...during the extractions I could hear and understand some of the conversations. The nurse who prepped me was telling the doctor about my high blood pressure... I told her it was too high! We might not be able to the extractions if she couldnt get it down...etc... It seemed like she was frustrated because I was overweight and had high blood pressure. So instead of trying to make me feel better or help me calm down...she made my anxiety worse with her belittling attitude.Oh but wait...it gets even worse. Because I heard her frustrations to the doctor and because I was on some strong pain meds...I felt the overwhelming need to defend myself. So as the two nurses were helping me from the chair to the wheelchair, thats exactly what I tried to do. I told them I had recently lost 50lbs and that it was helping my blood pressure...one of the nurses rudely cut me off and said..Well you need to lose more.Seriously?!!! I sat in the recovery room trying not to cry. I was by myself and emotionally vulnerable due to the meds, just had several extractions and they chose that moment to humiliate me and disrespect me because Im FAT?! It was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. My money spends just as well as the next person. Im not paying for your opinions on my body...Im paying for a tooth extraction.As a society we condemn every kind of discrimination that there is...except for fat discrimination. I cant leave my house and do normal things like getting my wisdom teeth pulled without someone going out of their way to humiliate me.So in summary..if youre overweight or perhaps (novel idea here) think that fat people deserve to be treated with dignity and respect...dont waste your time or money here.

After being in horrible pain for a few days due to an impacted wisdom tooth, I couldnt stand it any longer. I called and I was told I could be seen if I could arrive shortly and I was seen almost immediately for a consultation for wisdom teeth removal. I was scheduled the next day for oral surgery to have all 4 and a molar removed. All around a wonderful experience. I was so nervous and anxious. The people were wonderful and caring and Dr. Cannon did a great job. I had the procedure done yesterday and Im having little to no pain so far. A little sore but not too bad. I am just baffled of how caring, calming, and friendly the staff is. Beyond thankful to no longer be in such awful pain.

This was my first experience with making an appointment and dealing with insurance in my young adult life. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and was dealing with severe pain. After the consultation they were able to get me in for surgery in 2 days. Office staff was so friendly as clueless as I was. Dr. Cannon performed my operation and the healing process has been smooth. They couldn’t make this process any easier. Thank you!

Worse ever.. I was very concerned about my situation but I guess he wasnt. He said all of 15 words if that. Over $200 to hear Ill see you in 2 weeks.... Btw his teeth were exquisite. Maybe if he enjoyed his profession as much as he did his appearance, wed all have beautiful teeth as well. Never AGAIN

Dr. Jones and his nurses are awesome. They are attentive and compassionate towards their patients. Ann, I think was her name, made me feel very comfortable even though I was nervous. I would highly recommend this team.

Dr. Spann and team were great. Everyone was truly friendly and caring. They made sure all questions or concerns had been addressed. They even made sure you were at ease and felt at home!

I just finished having 5 teeth removed not even an hour ago. They said I would be numb afterwards but my pain level is an 8 right now. The older nurse in recovery was very unprofessional. She complained and seemed upset that she had to deal with a patient. She told my driver that my pain level is a 2 when I am at a level 8. I was told Id be okay for the first 3 hours yet I am not. She was very aggravated that I was crying from pain. They should really get more sympathetic and concerned nurses. The older one in recovery should definitely find a new line of work since patients bother her so much.

I had a good experience from the first visit. The staff was extremely nice and helpful and Dr Wayne Tipps has a great bedside manner. Ive never been to a dentist who seemed to show so much care and concern for his patients. I had both bottom wisdom teeth removed i had no bruising and have had a good recovery. I highly recommend his services to anyone!

My procedure was quick and easy. The providers were friendly and professional.

This office is taking advantage of people by falsely billing them for a 20% copay and then when the insurance does not cover the services, they then bill the patients for the full amount. When I spoke to the woman in billing, she said that it is routine for them to tell patients they are in network without first checking and this is a common practice. She even admitted that it was wrong for them to mislead people and then charge them the full amount, but that is just how they do it. I spoke to three people about the need for their office to be in my insurance network: the receptionist, the nurse, and the woman who handles billing. and when I made an appointment for my son to have his tooth removed and sat with the woman at the insurance desk, I asked if she had confirmed we were in network and she said yes and circled the amount of $174 on my invoice stating that was my 20% copay. I paid the 20% on site before we even had the procedure done. After the procedure, we were dismissed without any mention of any additional charges. A few weeks later, I received a bill for the full amount of $669! This is the cost to have ONE BABY TOOTH REMOVED! The copay had not even been deducted from the charges! I would have never agreed to the procedure had I known that this office was not in network. I am well aware of how insurance works, and as I stated, I asked three different people to make sure that they were in network before we scheduled the procedure. This is a unethical practice. I was deliberately misled about the cost of the procedure. I would have NEVER agreed to pay almost $700 to have a baby tooth removed. My son was in the operating room for less than 20 minutes. Besides the fact that this simple procedure is grossly overpriced, I was lied to on purpose about my insurance covering the cost. This deceit is intentional. After speaking to the woman in billing, she said she would reduce the price, but that is still not good enough because they lied to me in the first place. I never would have gone out of network. They need to accept the loss for this because of their unethical practices in their office.

I wouldnt go anywhere else. They have an excellent reputation and live up to it. Staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Steve Tipps has excellent bedside manner and is very honest.

Absolutely recommend to anyone whos in need of an oral surgeon. My 13yr old seen Dr. Cannon, and they seen her same day and scheduled surgery around my schedule. They even seen her at her scedualed time Not making us wait to be called back like most doctors. Dr. And staff were all so kind and compassionate. They even called a couple hours after we left from surgery to check on daughter to see how she was doing and said to call back anytime if there was any issues problems or questions. I was so satisfied with COFS I will return for any future oral surgery needs, and recommend to all my family and friends. A Special Thank you to Dr. Cannon and all his staff for making our visit a great experience.

My daughter had some teeth pulled to get her braces on, my son had a half tooth pulled after falling and hitting his mouth and breaking a tooth in half, and I had my wisdom teeth pulled here. Very clean, quick, and comfortable surroundings.

Could have been alittle more friendly. They were behind so I guess it was a bad day for them. I would recommend the group and return for other services.

I took off of work early to be seen for a new patient appointment. I had done the paperwork prior online and showed up 15 minutes early. Only I was told my appointment had been cancelled. They were seeing their last patient then leaving. Very unprofessional

I had Juvederm injected into my face for the lines around my mouth and I will have to say that Dr.Miller did an EXCELLENT job !! I had ZERO pain and no side effects or bruising afterwards. He was very gentle with the injections and very educated about the procedure. Very satisfied with the results and will definitely be back for more !

The waiting room was cozy and the tv was on a tasteful nickelodeon show with talking dogs. 👍If you get hungry while waiting, best to avoid the Hardees next door. 👎

Dr. Cannon and and his staff were both professional and warm. There was virtually no wait and I was kept abreast of my sons procedure at every step.

Not trustworthy and is only concerned about making money.I had an infection around a wisdom tooth that was coming in and Dr. Tipps told me I would need $2,500- $3,000 surgery to remove all 4 wisdom teeth. He said they were all impacted and wouldnt grow in any more than they had. In the few months since then, the two that had already cut it have grown almost perfectly into place and the other two have both cut in with no problem. The infection cleared up after taking some antibiotics prescribed to me at a MinuteClinic. When I told them I couldnt afford the surgery and that I would need to consult my parents first (I am a college student), they aggressively tried to schedule me anyways.In addition, I ask them to bill my parents address, which they took down and said they would. My parents never received a bill, however 3 months later, I received a bill with an added 90 day late fee of $56. They now have a collections agency calling me.I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemies.

Terrible, Dr Steven Tipps WILL NOT work with your insurance company. Our daughter has a heart condition and needed to have her wisdom teeth removed in a hospital rather than the office. I called our insurance company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Tn to see what we needed to do.They said all we needed to do was have the dentist write a letter stating why the surgery had to be done in a hospital. I called Dr. Tipps office back and asked them to send the letter. The office lady told me Dr.Tipps would not do it. I couldnt beleive it. So I insisted she ask him again explaining my daughters conditon and again he said no. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
