My experience was beyond what I could have asked for. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in DBT. It was uncomfortable at first, because I wasn’t used to a group setting and so that was different for me, but ended up being the best thing for me. I will always cherish the time I spent at The Middle Path and all of the amazing people I met there. I started out virtual, because I struggle with driving and it was kinda a long haul for me, considering I don’t like to drive, like at all, but I ended up switching to in-person and it was the best decision I could’ve made. I can say so many great things about this place and how supportive they are and how they try to help you in any possible way they can. I love The Middle Path, so much and wish every one could have the opportunity to participate in their program.

I recently graduated from Middle Path, and my experience there was wonderful! It may take some commitment (Ok, a lot) But it was totally worth it! They give you multiple skills that stretch over different categories. Mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation and much more. These skills have helped me so much! There is group therapy, which helped me to realize that I wasnt the only one struggling with stuff. It helped me realize that other people were going through the same - or similar - thing. You can tell, the people who put together this organization thought a lot about it. The have so many coping skills and wonderful therapists. They have very friendly staff, and group is a place of no judgement, so you dont have to be afraid of sharing anything. It lasts for 20 days, and then they celebrate your graduation with a snack of your choice, and a well-wish journal. To remind you to keep using your skills, they even have an aftercare group to help you. Middle Path is a WONDERFUL place for therapy, and you wont regret it!

I am a graduate of this program and also a meditation and yoga teacher.I highly recommend this program to individuals who would like to learn more about mindfulness and dialectical behavioral therapy.Group therapy is very helpful; and learning the skills of dialectical behavioral therapy is a highly empowering process!For individuals who have tried other forms of treatment and have not found success it is worth giving The Middle Path a shot.The Middle Path also offers continued care called aftercare.

Learning DBT skills gave me the tools to finally overcome and successfully manage my dual diagnoses— and bad habits — that fueled more than a decade of depression, stress, and anxiety. Life will continue to throw curve balls, but I feel more than equipped to handle whatever comes my way and finally feel empowered, balanced, and content. I can’t thank the team at The Middle Path enough for helping me to find my confidence, power, and strength in 20 days of DBT. No matter how long you’ve been facing challenges, your time to feel better can be right now. I’m so glad I finally turned my mind.
