My initial experience here would have been a five star review, but after getting my medical records I can see that this is once again a place where they only pretend to listen to your problems. I saw Dr. Daily a couple months ago, and he was very polite and listened to my concerns, although it did seem like he was rushing a bit. I visited for hair loss that is CURRENTLY happening and I still havent found a cause of the problem, which I was hoping to find by visiting here. After getting my records, they showed that I had very mild hair loss (which is not true), and that my hair loss was improving (also not true, which I had told Dr. Daily). I also told him about a bald spot that he took a look at, but in the report they said that I denied having any bald spots. They also said that I had asked for blood tests to be performed in order to find the source of my hair loss that had occurred in the PAST, even though I clearly wanted it for my hair loss which is CURRENT. Very disappointed with the outcome of this visit, and it is unlikely that I will be returning as a patient as it is very clear that I was not listened to whatsoever, and have been made to feel belittled in my health issue.

Everyone of the staff was kind and wonderful. Dr. Castrilli was very kind and professional. He seems to really care about what’s going on and answers all your questions. I would definitely recommend him to others. The office is very clean. Dr. Castrilli seems to be very knowledgeable as well. I will definitely be keeping him as my family doctor.

Truth be told Dr. Castrilli and his staff have always been on top of things. But since the COVID-19 pandemic began they have truly gone above and beyond to put their patients overall safety and well-being first. In my opinion this is definitely the type of doctors office and staff you want monitoring you health.

I had been seeing Dr. Castrilli for years as he took over for the Dr. that was there originally. I started having some issues and was diagnosed with bladder cancer by another Dr. When going back to see Castrilli 2 months after my surgery and questioning him on some things? I later found out that he had dropped me as a patient without informing me. I was informed by my pharmacist ? When i called to inquire, they would not return my call. I DO NOT recommend this Dr. for he obviously has a ego issue or is just plain sexist. He was fine with me.until i started asking vital questions about my care.

Fantastic facility and staff! I love that you can literally get anything that you may need, done in one convenient location. Additionally, Dr. Gentry and her team are so compassionate. They seek homeopathic remedies first, and take the time to really listen to the patient and their needs. I could not be more pleased with this group!

Dr. Castrilli is great, but as several others have mentioned, appointment scheduling and reminders can be a problem. The first and second time the receptionists were rude/un-accommodating, I wrote it off as them being busy or having a bad day. It happened again today though and now it’s definitely a trend. Would hate to have to find another good doctor because of the support staff’s lack of professionalism.

Excellent practice! I see Dr. Sarah Baker, MD. She is the FIRST doctor in over 20 years who actually took the time to not only LISTEN to my concerns, but also took ACTION. I had referred appointments and procedures called to schedule from other places within the first 24 hours of seeing her! I feel as though Im finally on the road to getting to the bottom of some health issues! Amen! And Thank You, Dr. Baker!

Everything other reviews have said about the front desk staff is true!!! I have been in the waiting room since for over an hour and they would not check me in till my Appt time, so I witnessed everything that is wrong with this office. The ladies do not work together to help each other, they are rude and unfriendly, and ignore patients when they come to their desk if they are doing something else, there is no hold on one sec or anything and I witnessed people standing there for over 5 mins. Unacceptable front desk staff and CHI Memorial should really look into this issue.

My mother went there this morning because her doctor at CHI couldn’t take walk ins so she referred her here. My mom has diabetes, fluid on her legs, and asthma as well as some other health issues. So when she cannot breathe she really cannot walk far when she is sick. She was wheezing audibly and visibly in distress and when she walked in none of the staff (especially the front desk (HEIDI) did not act concerned and told her that she needed to go the ER instead of there because they may not “be equipped” for what she needed. my mom proceeds to leave, out of breathe even more in distress and sees the employees walking over to STARBUCKS without a care in the world if my mom was going to make it okay to where they sent her. Luckily she is fine but she did get diagnosed with PNEUMONIA. IF YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF URGENT SITUATION DO NOT COME HERE. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF THAT WOULD RATHER NOT DEAL WITH YOU. Me and my mother will be contacting corporate.

I made an appointment in July and it was scheduled for September 4th. The office called that morning 30 minutes before the appointment to cancel. I rescheduled my appointment for October 2nd. Just received the call that they need to reschedule again and that it wouldnt be until November. If this is the way trying to get an initial appointment goes, then I would advise to find another doctor.

I would not recommend for anyone to go to this place especially if you are in need off attention ASAP I was recommended by my dr to go there bc they cannot take walk ins I was having trouble breathing I pulled up went inside no patients there at all but plenty of staff preceded to tell them I was having trouble breathing &my dr recommended I come there the girl behind the counter along with 2 other colleagues had me hold on they went &had a discussion &said it would be best if I go to the nearest Er basically turned me away & would not see me I told them I’m not going to argue to plZ point me In the right direction so I had to go to the Erlanger er luckily it was close by as I was in my car catching my breath 2 of them walked out &proceeded over to Starbucks for coffee didn’t even take a 2nd look at me to c if I was ok I was shocked so I went on To the er who luckily saw me quickly was in shock they sent me away as well & I found out I had walking pneumonia which is very dangerous I just keep wondering if I had of been some one worse off if they would have made it to the er before somthin happened to them needless to say not a good experience unprofessional & I hope they learn a lesson if they read this it was wrong on many levels they could have helped me the same as the other place did. They treated me well quickly as expected for my situation & given the right meds hopefully I’ll be better soon I’m still shocked they just could refuse to see me when they could clearly see I could barely breathe.

So difficult to work with regarding scheduling or prescriptions. I started seeing him as my primary MD because my MD at the time went to become a hospitalist. It took several months to get the appt with Castrilli. That is understandable because I was a new patient. My husband and grandmother were also switching to Dr. Castrilli. I had no medical problems. Just needed to have a relationship on file for if a cold or problem should come about. My husband and grandmother however, had several ongoing issues that required prescriptions and visits. Visits would take forever. Many different excuses, doctor was running late, were just running behind. It was ALWAYS a story like that. My grandmother would be having different problems. Maybe reaction to meds or meds not working. Wed have to leave several messages over the course of days just to maybe get a phone call back. I ended up needing a prescription called in for fever blister medicine. (Over-the-counter would not work as I would get several of them up inside my nose due to stress.) Simple you would think. Over the course of a week, I left several messages, no one ever returned my phone call. I showed up at their office, requested to speak with the office manager. I was informed it was time for lunch and they could not speak with me at that time. (Yes, a patient had just left and there were 3 ladies standing there behind the desk.) I know they needed a lunch hour but they also needed to address my issue that had been being ignored for over a week. She took down my info and the office manager did call me that afternoon. Gave an excuse that they had thought it had been taken care of but later found it sitting in a drawer. ??? They did phone in my prescription but not to the correct pharmacy. Even after I have given them the pharmacy info. My husband and grandmother continued to have problems. My grandmother has since passed. My husband has an appt with a new doctor but new patient appts take months to get. My husband is diabetic and sees the doctor every 3 months. He had an appt scheduled in December. Dr. Castrillis office called him today, 11-29-18, and advised they needed to move that appt to the middle of January. My husband explained that he was having problems with his blood sugars plus our $5000 deductible had already been met for the 2018 year so we would REALLY like to see him this year for the appt and new blood work. The office explained that seeing him this year was not possible. I truly find this to be ridiculous seeing that there is still a month left in this year and he is an established patient. Needless to say, we are finding a new MD.

This astbilishment is so unprofessional. I called them on June 28th to book an appointment. The farthest out they had was August 2nd. That’s fine, I get it. A few weeks go by and I get paperwork in the mail addressed to “Asly Hielfs” which isn’t my name nor is it an abbreviation for my name. Secondly, I drive to chattanooga (I live in dalton GA) on august 2nd only to be told the appointment is for the 20th. I was curious as to why the paperwork said the 2nd... The clerk assured me it was a typo & the Dr. couldn’t see me that day since I was a new patient. So, flash forward the the 20th. 7 weeks and 3 days after I called to book the appointment initially. Guess what?! athena Dr. just decided not to come into work today. I’ve waited ALMOST two months to be seen. But I suppose dealing with anxiety & not knowing how to cope is just not that important. I’ve never been so disgusted with an astabilishment without even being seen before.
