The ER nurse -Angela (the pregnant nurse) was great. She kept me informed on everything that was going on from beginning to the end. Once I was admitted to my room, the nurse on duty -Clay, did all he could for me that night. I actually got some rest. The next morning, my nurse-Gina (nurse leader) was the BEST! That woman made sure I was okay every step of the way because I was an emotional and nervous wreck. My stay ER visit and over night stay was a good experience. Thanks for everything.

I’ve never had the kinda of experience in any of hospital like I have this one! They cared about me so much in the labor and delivery! My nurses Staci, Jill, and Cassandra showed me so much compassion. They helped me get my diabetes and high blood pressure under control and on a routine to assure that my baby girl and myself would stay healthy until delivery. These three women truly truly truly made going to the hospital more enjoyable, seeing how I hate hospitals!

Usually this place is great and has no problem with it, but they wouldnt let me go back with my husband this time. Im his caregiver due to medical conditions and he needs me to go with him. So do they make a child go back without a parent? A paralyzed or disabled and/or mentally handicapped patient go back without their caretaker? How does this happen?

Unfortunately, due to Covid many hospitals are not doing any elective surgeries, by their definition. Parkridge East has fortunately been one that has managed to figure a way to do elective surgeries without compromising patient safety or care. In the past month, I have had to have 2 major surgeries and have never felt unattended to or at risk, due to our current times that we are living in. If you are truly in need for a procedure, then do not hesitate, for Parkridge East is an awesome hospital and the doctors, nurses, and staff are working harder than ever, for those patients that need to have an elective surgery. I am forever grateful for the wonderful, professional, and kindness that was given to me as I recovered and eventually went home. Thank You again for ALL you do each and Every Day for Your Patients - YOU are AMAZING!!!!

We just had our baby here over the weekend. Our experience was amazing. Every single staff member we encountered treated us with the utmost dignity, care, and compassion. We received incredible medical care from the nurses and physicians. And the rooms were spacious, clean, and accommodating. All of this would be amazing in and of itself, but coupled with the fact that the hospital is currently inundated with Covid patients, and, additionally, the night we delivered the unit had a total of 12 deliveries in one single night shift. That’s huge for a hospital this size. Nurses were literally running from room to room. And they never missed a beat. We received the above level of care in the midst of one of the most stressful times the hospital could be under. Oh, and also the hospital is currently under renovation and adding a new wing - throw that in the mix as well. Cannot say enough about this place. We especially connected with Kristian in Labor and Delivery, Lucy in Postpartum, and of course, our superstar OB Dr. Mary Anna Sanders. She is a treasure.

This was by far the worst hospital experience I have ever had! I will never go back there! They just dismissed me, they did x-rays and didnt even discuss the results with me, they also said that they would send me home with pain meds but they didnt. Horrible! Dont go there if you want to get good care also the nurse suspected a torn rotator cuff but refused to do a CT scan to confirm it which makes no sense Im beyond disgusted and frustrated.

All went good with the ER, but we were there longer than expected due to the lockdown. Due to the length of time to get my wife’s X-Ray results, I felt that my sugar was dropping and needed a snack and there was no Snack Machine available. Thankfully I mentioned my situation to a Security Guard and he said hold on a minute and he disappeared and moments later he showed up and handed me a Protein Bar and handed it to me! Thank you Sir, I know not your name, but thank you so much for your good deed!!👍

This was by far the worst experience. My daughter delivered her baby here two weeks ago. They were so unprofessional when she was discharged. She had to walk out after having a c-section. I was also given Procartia (which is used to stop labor) which they are not administered to give after 34 weeks since I was having regular contractions and said I was not in “active labor” because I hadn’t dilated (like I said they only checked twice within 10 minutes) will not be going back and will be reporting the doctor that administered medicine for medical malpractice without telling me the risks of the medicine first.

My mother-in-law died after developing pneumonia. The hospital asked for a list of her prescriptions two and a half weeks after admitting her. She had COPD. And they blew her lung putting her on pressurized oxygen. The staff are unfriendly, kept us ill-informed, and acted like we should just give up. The final straw came when the family took turns saying goodbye and the ICU nurse complained loud enough for us to hear that too many people were coming into through and we should just leave because it’s not like it’s going to matter.

No one came to talk to me about my test results. The nurse went and got the doctor after I told him no one came in to talk to me about my results. The doctor came in and said everything was fine but yet Im still in pain and my bp 231/123. When I pointed my bp out to the doctor only then did he attempt to see why it was so high. He then sent the nurse back in with one bp pill and discharge papers. I refused because I wasnt going to take a medication that I know nothing about and then drive home. Currently inpatient at this “medical clinic” because I certainly cannot refer to this as a functioning hospital! There was a security guard that came in my hospital room and began to speak to me as a clinician. I wouldn’t bring my 2 year old Zoie here and she’s a DOG! Worst medical care I have ever received. Building is run down, unsanitary, the food is terrible, and the lack of bedside manner is appalling. I wish I could given them ZERO stars! If you care about your life do not come here! If however you have a “loved” one that needs a little “tough” love send them here and they will suffer and maybe appreciate all of your efforts going forward! Every time I decide to go to this hospital , it’s always a problem! This last time was it for me. I got there at 9:30am! Got to the room at around 9:45am! They Immediately wanted to test me for COVID! I declined because I’m a healthcare worker and I know why I was sick. Hours had gone by I had to find my doctor and ask him if my labs were back. So I find a nurse to ask her about my labs and her response was “I’m sorry we are just really busy with COVID”. I don’t care. I’m sick too. And I’m paying my money for this , just like everyone else! I had the worst experience there, everything that I went through I should not have. Traumatic experience, to the point I will never set foot at this hospital again. I went there with Covid related symptoms to the point I was admitted because I was struggling to breathe. Wasn’t fed some days, treated poorly by some nurses there and when I needed help they would say someone was on the way but no one came to help me. I would press the nurses button about 7 to 8 times before SOMEONE came to my room. I understand that that you guys are understaffed but don’t take it out on your patients or forget about them entirely. If you need to eat WE DO TOO. If you need to use the restroom WE DO TOO. If you are struggling and need some help WE DO TOO. Just because we have IV’s stuck in our arms and can’t get out of bed doesn’t make us less human. How I came in the hospital is not how I came out, I had a possible near death experience where I see everything differently now. We don’t want to be there as much as you do. Treat your patients better. And the sad thing is this is just a few of the things I went through.Wish I can give you 0 stars but that’s not a possibility.

In 2016 I contracted a systemic fungal infection while working In a local Papermill. Dr Christopher Greene of CHI Memorial...on the Parkway, Ft Oglethorpe, GA, had been seeing me for months but doing absolutely nothing clinical insofar as remedial treatment efforts. I had a 30mm lesion on my spleen, was fast about to lose the skin on both legs and feet, and there was a 1.75 (nominally-not perfectly round)-lesion in my left foot and all my toenails were veing eaten away on that foot.I asked him if he intended to let me die. He smiled sardonically and quietly whispered, your not dead yet, with emphasis on the yet.My girlfriend Norella drove me to Parkridge East E.R., after months of dealing with Dr Greene...and after his subsequently kicking me out of the facility and calling my Primary care practitioner and ordering him, P.A. Paul Ballinger, to stop seeing me...which he did; and, at any rate, despite my having been out of work and subsequently losing my insurance, Parkridge East saw me.We were both SO relieved and thanking God immensely for the reception we received. But, alas it was all lies.Parkridge East E.R. was informed both at the front desk and upon my meeting the triage staff in the nack that, I had no insurance. That did not seem to deter them, hence our initial elated moods. They put an I.V. in my arm and told me they were going to administer 1ml of intravenous antifungal medication over a slow-infusion process of 1 hour. They told me Id return as an outpatient to repeat the same, once per day, until all bloodwork and visual examination were clear. An old white haired man in a white coat...I assume a doctor, (term I use loosely these days), came to the door of the room where I lay on a bed, I.V. in arm, and whispered something to a young black nurse pushing a p.c. on a rolling stand, if you will.In less than ten minutes I was told to leave. To go. No...follow up here, no...sorry we couldnt help, NOTHING. Just, you have to leave. We cant help you.About a grand worth of 250mg griseofulvin oral antifungal tablets, money borrowed and gifted by family, and 45 days later, and I was Cured (unfortunately now another term I use loosely)- after approximately 17 MONTHS of almost dying. The medical fraternity of today has shown me its evils through and through. Please see accompanying pics, of which I have maybe a hundred. Please see my review on CHI Memorial on the Parkway for their part in this physically gruesome and morally indifferent ordeal.

Those things are very hard to diagnose unless you’re a specialist. I was still treated very kindly, especially since i had to bring my young children, and drive myself. I wish all physicians appear to like their job and working with patients as much as mine did while under his care. I was in a ton of pain, and scared… Between him snd my very nice nurse( forgot her name ), they really helped to calm me down. My nurse was the epitome of what you would hope a nurse to be. These two worked great as a team too which was such a rare thing to see these days. I hope all ER physicians there are like this, because if so, they set a great standard. It’s important to remember that even if nothing does come up on imaging for us ladies having pelvic pain, that doesn’t mean there isn’t real pain there. I can’t tell you the number of times I was scoffed off as I waited to get into a specialist at a different ER. I then had surgery that was close to 9 hours and Ended in a full hysterectomy because I have stage 4 endometriosis, along with interstitial cystitis. Thanks again for being so caring and smart that morning. Sat there for 34 minutes before getting called back. The girl said “let me make sure the radiologist is here since it’s so late in the day” AFTER 35 minutes of waiting. She took me back to do an exam and didn’t know which side of my body or what the exam was even for. Then she took my exam under the wrong patients name so we had to redo it. The L&D/Mother Baby staff are the best of the best and the NICU takes such great care of the itty bittys. If you want to have a care free and laid back stay with the best possible care when you have your baby then the Birth Place is where you need to be!

All the staff was extremely nice and helpful with any questions and concerns. I was called several days before my procedure to go over my pre registration and my insurance information, Mrs. Browner went above and beyond to help with me understanding my insurance benefits. I am so Thankful for all she did to help out. My nurse, Shelley was great, she was so nice, sweet and helpful. The GI staff was exceptional, they really made me feel at ease with the procedure. Thank you all for making my experience a great one.

Very friendly and professional, I was told exactly how the procedure would take place, and was very pleased with the staff and Doctor at Parkridge.

Staff are moderately friendly, not efficient, wait time is long. Compared to my surgery experience at a larger facility in Nashville (they were excellent), this is a 2 star hospital.Lobby is crowded and noisy, none of the surgery waiting rooms are available so patient family members are expected to sit in the main lobby. Ridiculous

Everyone treated me with compassion and was always very helpful whenever I needed it. I had a 10 1/2 hr surgery and everyone was so nice and accommodating. They even calmed my nerves. One nurse even said some very encouraging words that I will never forget. She was a sweetheart, along with the other nurse assigned to me as well. Thank YOU so much!

Our third baby girl was born on 12/30 and we had another excellent experience at the Birth Place. The labor and delivery nurses along with mother baby nurses were phenomenal in tending to our every need. We can not express how wonderful this hospital is and knowing great care comes with it makes it the best!!!

I was very nervous over the procedure I needed to have done. The tech was not only very professional but very compassionate as well. She took away the awkwardness and fear from the moment and I appreciate that more than I can tell.

I could not have been more pleased with each staff of the hospital. They were caring, they were friendly, they were outgoing, they were very concerned with my situation. Professionalism is their expertise! It’s the only ER that I’ve used that doesn’t treat you like a number. Doctors and nurses took their time to explain my situation. It’s the only ER I will ever use.Thank you to all the staff at Parkridge East

I had to wait in the ER waiting room too long before my problem was seen about. Then after I was looked at they decided to admit me for appendix were inflamed where they would take them out the next morning. The floor personnel was very helpful and very friendly. The staff was very helpful. The surgery went well better than I expected. Four stars because of the wait in ER waiting room. When you are in pain a long time, it hard to take.

Excellent and fast service ! My husband shot a nail through his finger. In triage they cut his glove off, immediately put him a room, took an X-ray, numbed him up and went to work removing it.He was giving some antibiotics to help prevent infection.. Great Job East Ridge !! 💛Would highly recommend for emergency services.ThanksGary & Kristy Bailey

This is the PERFECT place to have a baby!! Cheryl was our delivery nurse and she was AWESOME, she is very sweet, personable, and professional. Anytime we needed her she was right there. After delivery they move you to a different room with different nurses throughout your stay, but every one of the nurses we had were very good, knowledgeable, and informative about our son. Also, I have to admit that the food was also very good and normally I would never say that about a hospital. We have had 2 children here and every time the food has been superb! Would never deliver anywhere else! The anesthesiologist Jeremy and Johnathon were very helpful and knowledgeable as well, Jeremy actually did the Epidural (so nice and knows exactly what he is doing - I’m also sure that he was the same one that did my epidural with my daughter and I was very pleased with him then too), but I asked to sign the paperwork before we got started with the Pitocin and Johnathon explained everything thoroughly. Thank you for such an amazing experience!!
