RT Ann was amazing! Super caring and helpful. There were a couple other people (call center) that were helpful. Overall this is by far the worst Healthcare Ive ever received. Getting supplies is ridiculous. I started buying them off of Amazon to insure that I would get them. They came to service my o2 concentrator maybe once in the 3 years I was with them. Little to know warning when they would show up. I had an insurance change in November on 2020. I called prior to that date, filled out papers and mailed them back, updated information online and a couple weeks ago (early June 2021Mark showed up at my home saying they couldnt reach me and needed to know my new insurance e information and what provider I was seeing. So for 3 years, my provider hadnt changed and no matter how many times I gave them their information they still seemed to never know who my provider was. Depending on who I talked too was what information was used and it was ALWAYS wrong. Size of my pap mask, liters of o2 etc. Its scary enough to have major health issues but to have a company so careless and inefficient adds SO MUCH more worry and stress. Im now in the process of getting another o2 concentrator with a different company. Until then Im doing without. When I worked in Healthcare I would always brag about Apria to patients and providers and now Im sorry I did.

Apria is very poor to work with but the other companies are worst. This is the best of the worst companies to work with. It is a shame there is not a good cpap company to work with

They didnt have the DME we needed and kept saying they should get it in the next day. I ended up ordering a scooter from walmart and getting it quicker. There was poor communication on the delivery of the other DME we ordered. I called to see what the bill would be when we were done with the equipment and they said insurance covered it so there would be nothing owed, only to receive a bill a few months later. Would not recommend!

I put in my order on 4/20 and was told that I would be contacted within a few days. After more than a month and numerous calls, I was told that the order cannot be filled on 6/3. They didnt bother to call me to tell me; I found out myself. I have at least called more than 5 times. It is a company that I will never order anything from because of their unprofessional conduct.

I was told by the local office to call back at 4 oclock for test results, to determine if the test would have to be repeated. Since there is no way to call the local office directly, I had to go through the 800 number and be transferred. I could not find a selection on all their phone menus to speak directly with a representative or an operator for my call to be transferred. After 15+ minutes on hold, I gave up, drove to the office and got the info I needed (total round trip 20 minutes - the office is close to my home). I will never try to call them again - if there is any reason to talk to them I will go to the office. Their customer service on the 800 number is pathetically bad - difficult to understand, slow, inaccessible and sometimes inaccurate. It is often very difficult to get the Apria rep to even understand your question. They only seem to answer calls promptly when it involves collecting money or selling you something, The personnel in the local office seem competent but are limited by company rules, it seems.

Horrible company. My wife is a healthcare provider and we urge our patients to use anyone but Apria. Apria has a habit of charging patients when they fail to properly file insurances and then you are embroiled in the battle to get them to correct their error. My insurance pays 100% and they still are billing me for there issues. We will no longer use them. Most insurances allow you to use other vendors. Call your insurance company and ask them for Durable Medical providers on your plan.

They were drafting $16.95 per month from my Visa check card for the rental of my new CPAP machine. For the past 2 months they’ve upped it to $173 per month. No bill. No letter. No explanation why.

They get one star because there is an option to give him a zero. waiting on hold for 20 minutes to finally talk to a person who couldnt even comprehend comprehend for what I was asking. Finally after conferring with someone else she came back online and told me they didnt carry the product. Total waste of time.

I have never had a problem with the local office. They have always been very helpful and nice. I have a problem with reordering my supplies. I just reordered the supplies over the telephone and 90% of the order was wrong. Although the representative were very kind and took their time, the order delivered to me was for my old machine. The nasal cushions were size medium instead of small for the 2nd time. The water reservoire was for my old machine as were the filters. Aughhhhhhh!! The representatives all have thick accents and are hard to understand. Now I have to return the supplies and get new ones. Meanwhile I will use the medium nasal cushion and listen to it hiss during the night. I just cannot get a good seal no matter how tight I pull the headgear. I am over this ordering system. I want a survey so that I can tell the company how much I hate the wrong orders.

If you can decipher thick accents and have the patience to be sent off on a wild goose chace this is your place. They dont really try to get the equipment you need. Im having a terrible experience with this company. Not professional at all!

I had to have a new CPAP as mine had broken, it took 2 weeks to get it. I asked the lady there at Apria if the CPAP was really that important and she said yes, it could be a life and death situation for those suffering with sleep apnea. So I asked her, then why did they make me wait 2 weeks before getting me a new CPAP? No answer to that. I am on the phone with them now because they sent me the wrong size mask. Still on hold. Not happy for sure.

Hold times for ordering supplies or checking on a bill are 20 min +. Today it was 40 minutes and at the end I was asked to leave a message.Apria is the only Medicare E (Humana) provider allowed in our region. They have a better Washington Lobby than they do service lol.Supplies usually come in timely manner. But they do not often call you or give any reminders that its time to purchase new consumables that medicare pays for. So I run out of supplies because I forget to call them monthly on a certain day... only to find intolerable hold times or call backs much later.Since they are the only choice that Obamas medicare team allows in my area I should just be happy that medicare still pays for some supplies.____Update: If you like an average of 45 minute hold times with a need to call multiple times to get information or supplies... go with Apria. It is impossible to even call the local branch directly. You have to use the call center and wait and wait, then they will transfer you to the local office where they will say that the therapist will need to call you back. If you miss the call you just signed on for another hour of hold time and transfers.
