I was charged for supplies I never ordered or received. The company said they would pull some phone calls to verify this, investigate, and then they could stop sending me bills for products I had not ordered or received. Did I mention it was nearly impossible to get any answers from them on why I was being billed mistakenly, and that just to get that much of a response from them had taken nearly 3 months? At just over 3 months of being phone tossed back and forth between American Home Patient and their billing company, I received a notice from a collection agency for these fraudulent charges! I was livid and finally threatened to get a lawyer involved. At that point they finally admitted they had no idea why I was charged, but would get in touch with the billing company to cancel the charges. This was months of terrible customer service as both companies continued to tell me that my issue was with the other. I have since blocked AHP’s number (they continue to call attempting to sell more supplies), and have started using a different company for supplies.

I was told the Chattanooga office doesnt participate in Humana Advantage and that I must order, sight unseen, on the 800 number to get Humana benefits. Then after copay is announced and paid for CPAP supplies we find out that Humana hasnt covered some of it because of coding errors and 2-4 months later a bill comes for additional copay. They seem to be confused about the Humana rules and this has resulted in an erroneous quotation to me. If I had known this I would have selected another supplier. Think Ill be moving on.
