Absolutely the best! Dr. Hitchcock genuinely cares for the health and well being of my family. His model for medical practice is in the benefit for both the patient and provider, and everyone wins! Thankful to have HFM watching over my family.

The best doctor I have ever had! Matt brings old methodology into this current crazy world... but with a modern twist! Who can text their Doctor and discuss an issue?! Saves time and money! Such a blessing to my busy life, 3 kids and a career...Matt listens and explains, doesnt rush you away! HIGHLY recommend!

This ended up being a bust for me and my child a couple years back. The initial visit was great. We chatted and discussed things. He was very personable. He told me he was still moonlighting at a clinic a couple of days a week (Thur/Fri) and would not be available those days as his practice was still growing. I was cool with that and went ahead and signed us up. I did mention some abdominal pain at my consultation and he was fairly dismissive. This pain turned out to be my gallbladder, but I suffered for a while longer because I was told in effect...that we just have pain in our digestive systems sometimes. I mentioned it to my next doctor and they got me diagnosed and sorted out pronto. No more pain. Also had my child set up with him. We paid in for a few months. Needed a visit when she was sick and he wouldnt schedule us even though it was on a day he was supposed to be there. She was only mildly ill, so no biggie. Next time I needed him, my child that was having pain in the appendix area and running a mild fever. I texted to see if he could see her to drop in and check it out and was told he was moonlighting that day. This was not one of the days he had told me hed be working his side job at the walk in clinic. So, I was a little taken back. I had not been informed his availability had changed. He told me to take her to the emergency room. It turned out not to be appendicitis...thank goodness, but I was left with a hefty hospital bill. I joined up Mr. Hitchcock because he preached accessibility and personal care. I wanted to have a close working relationship with my doctor. I was alright with the limitations in terms of his work and personal life schedule as they were laid out in our initial consultations. However, the one time we actually did need to see him badly in person - and he was supposed to be available - he wasnt. I cancelled our membership. It was an expensive lesson all the way around. His service may be more robust now, but between having my medical complaint being brushed off and him not being available when promised - we were definitely not cared for well. I see all these 5 star ratings and I wonder why we didnt see that level of care and attention.

My family and I have been using Dr. Hitchcock for over two years now. Could not be more happy with the services. Could NOT imagine going back to the old model of showing up in an office with thirty other people waiting for hours, waiting for bills, fighting with insurance companies, dealing with co-pays etc. This model and Dr. Hitchcock have been an incredibly blessing and wonderful experience fo our family.

Dr. Hitchcock is awesome. He sits down with you and talks to you like a person. He doesnt type and check off boxes while hes talking to you like most other places. You have his undivided attention. Hes always quick to respond to emails and makes it crazy easy to schedule appointments.

Personalized care and peace of mind knowing if I need a doctor that Dr. Hitchcock is there. When I have an appointment there is no waiting and he sits and listens to my concerns. My mother also sees him and she is 82 yrs old and I know if something ever happened and she needed medical care and couldn’t travel he would come see her at home. That is how medical care should be.

You can call and be and actually press a number and the doctor answer the phone! Thats is not normal for a DR to do.

Dr. Hitchcock was able to help me after 5 p.m. on Black Friday. How many doctors are available to answer questions on a holiday weekend?! He is a great doctor as well as a great person. I cant speak highly enough!

A huge thank you to Chattanoogas best Doctor! After being up all night with my sick son, nothing is better than meeting your Doctor Sunday morning to get a diagnosis and meds all in one office. Never an office full of sickness, just us and Dr. Hitchcock. If your child is sick, there is not a better experience. We did have the get a shot, but he had the popcicle waiting. All no additional charge and part of the monthly fee. Hitchcock Family Medicine is the BEST!

The entire practice has been an awesome experience from day one. To Dr. Hitchcock I am not a number or just some patient file, but instead I am known individually. Unlike other doctor offices, here when I show up at my appt. time I see the doctor right away! We sit and talk about whats going on in my life and what issues I am having. No waiting for hours in a room, but instead immediate personal care. I cant recommend Dr. Hitchcock and his staff enough!

Very professional, great rates, simple online payment plans, great negotiator on prescription rates to keep out of pocket costs down, and goes above and beyond to accommodate patients schedules for appointments. I couldnt ask for anything more at this point from a physician.
