Jason came out to run a new outlet to our crawl space for a dehumidifier and two sump pumps. He was very kind and helpful in explaining what needed to be done and quick to deliver what he said he would. Highly recommend this company.

Zach, Hunter, and Justus did an amazing job on the work they did at my house. They changed out two fans, put in 8 can lights in our game room, and had to do some electrical adjustments. Foster electric was extremely professional and organized from the beginning on quickly sending Zach over for an estimate. It was all explained thoroughly to me how it would all turn out with best/ worse case scenarios. He got back with estimate the next morning. Very reasonable price! We booked it, scheduling called back promptly, and they were out doing the work in a few days. The guys were also professional and on time. Very polite! The work took amount of time predicted!!! Foster Electric performed 5 projects for our Home Owners Association common properties and did an outstanding job. They sent multiple teams to perform this work and every team was the A team. Particularly, we had a pool light that 4 other electrical companies told us could not be replaced without cutting our concrete pool deck. Foster Electric was able to remove the old light and install a new light without cutting out the deck. This company communicated with me constantly and met every single appointment on time. This company has a customer first attitude and I would give them 10 starts if I could.

The Foster team has been professional from the start to the finish of our renovation project. Mary, the office manager, communicated information clearly and accurately. She had an answer to any question I had and was always super friendly. Cain and Chase along with their teams completed the job. They called before arrival, were friendly, and experts in their field. 3rd visit: final fixture to be installed in a foyer with 28 foot ceilings. They protected the hardwood floors, quickly set up scaffolding and made sure the area was clean upon completion. We have used them to replace all the 1990s light fixtures and will use them in the future for any electrical needs.2nd visit: came to install 10 fixtures/fans. Provide wonderful service. They were not able to install one fixture due to needing scaffolding, but they returned the next business day to complete the work. Awesome service.1st visit: Wonderful service, said it would take approximately 3 hours to install 5 light fixtures and a ceiling fan. It only took an hour and a half. Would use again. They also hauled off all the old fixtures and boxes!

Had a great experience using foster electric. the other week chris came out and gave me a solid estimate. price was fair and he had solutions that were much cheaper than what I was expecting, felt good to not be up sold when it was not necessary. once I accepted the bids they had me scheduled within a week. bid process was clear and simple. zach and preston came out yesterday on time and jumped right into it. the worked quickly and professionally. like any project we hit a couple hiccups but we talked thru it quickly and they had the solution in mind before I knew there was an issue. would gladly use this service again

Also the young man that came to the house was very professional and did a wonderful job also they take the old ceiling fan and trash and dispose it for you which was very nice but more than anything they are very affordable. I’ve been using Foster Electric since around 2015, and every single interaction has been fantastic. They do great work and are willing to explain what they’re doing. They’ve added outlets, dimming light switches, and worked on the panels in a rental property. More recently we did a major upgrade to the electrical in our new-to-us 1965 home. It was a mess—no grounded outlets, rats’ nests of wires, wall outlets behind the TV, the too few outlets (like one in the entire kitchen), two electrical panels, etc.). Steven and Cole did most of the work and were awesome, but it became such a large job, that there once was 5 vans sitting in my driveway during this long-3-ish day job. It went “a little” over the estimated budget, but this something missed on their end, and the owner, Ted, didn’t put those costs onto us. We greatly appreciated that and will, of course, be using Foster for out next project(s).

I gave 4 stars because what is not explained well is they charge you a $29 fee JUST TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. To be clear, she did say it was to book but I thought that $29 would go towards the work being performed but it does NOT. So be aware of this charge.However, when Zach Scott arrived, early to work on my outlet he was very professional and fast. I appreciated his speedy work as he didnt try to run my time to cost more money.He understood my frustration at the $29 fee not being applied towards the work and offered me a coupon. Zach wins 5 stars from me just for being a nice guy who explained things and offered a solution to a frustration.I still am unsure if I have to pay an additional $29 JUST TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT in the future, but when his estimate comes in for other work I need done, I will heavily consider it because I really like Zack.

Foster did a great job quoting and installing a 50 amp plug to charge my car. They were quite creative in moving things around my full breaker box to make room so I didn’t need a new breaker box.

They were great. I needed a outlet above my stove and an above the range microwave installed. They called and notified me they could come earlier if that was ok with me. Once they showed up they gave me a very reasonable quote. From start to finish it took them one hour and half the price of the “honest at worst” quote. Will recommend and use them again in the future. Thank you guys.

I had a fuse that kept tripping in my breaker box associated with certain lights going out an a large popping sound in my living room. While trying to pin down where the popping was coming from I finally noticed a blue flash of light from a light switch. Concerned about a short-circuit I left the fuse off and called Foster Electric regarding it. They were booked for the next day but made arrangements to have someone come by the next day and check it out and advised me to leave the tripped fuse off until it could be checked.The next morning Aaron and Jay came by and were very courteous and friendly. They immediately found the reason for the flashing: the switch was extremely wet with water. They pointed out a water stain going down from the switch which i had not noticed. Apparently water was leaking in from the roof. The switch could not be repaired until the leak was stopped, and they advised me to leave the fuse to the switch off and have the roof checked. They advised me to call them back as soon as the leak was fixed so they could then repair the switch.As they had not actually done any repairs and were only there less than 10 minutes, they did not charge me anything for the service call : )Update: I called Sexton Roofing who came out and checked the roof, and there was a hole in the roof which needed repair. They were able to fix it in about 30 minutes. There has been no more water in the switch-box. I have called Foster Electric back and arrangements have been made to have the switch repaired. I highly recommend Foster Electric for any electrical services.

We recently moved to Chattanooga and into a mid-60s era home that needed some updates. We hired Foster Electric (without knowing much about them other than the previous owners used them) to make some significant updates including installing a new panel, grounding several outlets and installing several new can lights in the home. Staff was very professional to talk to and the work was efficient. Everything seems to be working appropriately. While they did make an effort to clean up, I think the dust made when cutting the flooring traveled further away than expected and I needed to vacuum up on the couch after they left. The first service I received, I was disappointed with the particular electrician but this was the only time I had used them. After the service I picked up dropped screws in several rooms and one in the driveway, wiped up spilled coffee, and cleaned up trash from the ceiling left in the bathtub. The power was not turned off while the work was being performed, which concerned me. Had to call back to rework two issues that were not fixed. The second electrician was very professional and fixed both issues with no problem.
