I was lost the doctor I seen would not tell me anything about my lower back took some ex-ray. He gave me a diagnosis which my family doctor was already treating me for to be on the safe side.He Said I need to see another doctor. Ran me out of the room now I going to have a bill for nothing. To go make another bill. I asked about my lower back three times he just avoided the question 😒. I would like to say he is well mattered very nice. He not a bad person I know his job not easy I would not want to be in his foot steps. All the stuff was amazing people.

Very nice facility. Check in was easy even now. Non-patients not allowed in, so keep that in mind. Thats pretty standard by now though. Dr. Hodges was great. Professional, but pleasant and easy going. Explained things well, and in an easy to understand manner.

Dr Hodges is a caring and professional surgeon. His skills and experience are unsurpassed. I am so fortunate to have such a wonderful doctor. I had a cervical fusion done in 2012 and lumbar fusion done in 2014, both by doctor Hodges. I’ll start with the lumbar fusion. I got that done in January and I had extreme pain after the surgery and was having severe muscle spasms for several months. He had me on pain medication for 6 months. We moved out of state to Phoenix AZ in June and I immediately saw another doctor. No evidence of fusion starting and the hardware was slightly misplaced. The doctor did surgery to redo the fusion and my back feels fantastic to this day. I did have a problem with pain because I was on pain medication so long it wasn’t as effective. By this time my neck had started to bother me again. I didn’t do anything with it until my back was completely healed.I had the same doctor look at my neck and he found that my neck had also never fused. He asked why my neck was fused instead of using an artificial disc. I had no answer for him. When a cervical fusion is done it starts to put strain on the discs above and below. The original fusion was done anterior so the new fusion rework had to be done with additional hardware posterior.If you are keeping score at home this is now 4 surgeries. About a year and a half later, the disc 2 levels about the cervical fusion ruptured and I had an artificial disc replacement.We are now 8 years beyond the initial cervical fusion and I have another appointment with another surgeon in Atlanta for another issue 2 levels above the original fusion. The questions that haunt me...why a fusion instead of a disc replacement and why were there 2 failed fusions?

I went to Dr. Hodges to see about getting his Balanced Back device and when I got there the receptionist to his check in person and Dr. Hodges where very nice and helpful. I went there to see if I got a good vibe to have home do my next surgery and I definitely did. I will be getting my new back soon. Thank you

Center for Sports Medicine has been our family’s orthopedic doctors since I was small. My parents are patients, I have had surgeries due to gymnastics and of course getting older and now my son, as a gymnast and athlete, uses Center for Sports Medicine. I would not trust anyone else.

(My father has seen Dr. Hodges in the past with positive pain relief results.)I’m very appreciative of Dr. Hodges taking my elderly father’s complaints and concerns of pain- he has been in pain for several weeks. Dr. Hodges listened to his concerns and even determined he should be seen by another specialist. He and his staff showed compassion and empathy, scheduled tests to determine what could be causing his pain within a couple of days. We’re looking forward to utilizing his expertise to help my father.

Dr. Hodges is awesome. I immediately felt comfortable with him at my first visit. I had 2 discs replaced in my neck on 11/25/19. I feel so much better. I don’t regret it at all. I feel like my quality of life is better since I’m not living with that pain everyday. I highly recommend Dr Hodges.

Dr Hodges is a great doctor !!....he listens to you, then he gives you his opinion, pros and cons for each option. He doesnt try and steer you in any direction, he will discuss any concerns that you may have.....you never feel rushed or like youre having to make any decision before your ready to.....Ive always had a great experience w all the doctors Ive seen from this group.....would never even consider going anywhere else....

I had and appointment for next week, but I called yesterday because I was in so much pain with my back, they went out of their way to get me in. I had prompt service the whole time I was there and everyone was so friendly. Dr Hodges made sure I knew everything that was going on with my back and what we need to do from here. Immediate appointment. Office extremely friendly and Covid aware. Recommended no surgery and other treatment plan. Not what I expected at all. 2 days into treatment I can walk again. They are not faith healers, burning my case, similar results!

Dr. Hodges replaced a disc at c 6-7 and cleaned out the c 7-t1. I was having extreme pain in my neck, shoulder and had lost strength in my right hand. The surgery was a great success and I got along great. I would recommend Dr. Hodges to anyone. He is the best.

I have been going to Dr. Hodges since November 2019 with lower back pain and coccyx pain. So far I’ve had 3 injection blocker that have not helped thus far. He wanted to do injections to see if it would help before any surgery had to be performed. He’s also sending me to Dr. McKee for a second opinion. In my opinion that shows me that he’s got my best interest and health in mind. He’s always listened to me and I’m very thankful to him for that. Although I hurt daily I know I’m in the best of care with Dr. Hodges. Also I would like to add that his nurses are very caring every visit. Thanks Dr Hodges and staff !!!!!

So glad I came across Dr. Hodges when searching the internet for alternative surgery to back fusion due to a torn and bulging disk. His experience and expertise are impressive and he did a perfect job.

My first visit with Dr. Hodges was a very pleasant experience. Dr. Hodges seemed to be genuinely interested in my back problems and fully explained how the procedure he recommended would be performed. He answered all my questions and didn’t seemed hurried like most doctors are anymore.

I knew someone that visited this Doctor for the first time today. He was being referred to another specialist by Dr. Hodges, and was told you will like them, they are African American. Tell me, what does the color of skin have to do with a doctors visit and whether youre going to have a pleasant experience. What is the world coming to???

Do Your Homework Before You See Any Doctor I Was Released from There Care and No any Explanation Why. All I knew was that when I saw the doctor For a NEW Problem they didnt lestien to what I was saying and was referring back to a older CT scan of something else NOT my NEW Problem and was in and out in 3 minutes. Be very careful of what comment you make on this so called review page or you will be released to from their Care. This is supposed to Be a Honest Review page so I was honest with my comment the first time and Now I have no Back Doctor because of my Honesty.

Blantantly he is a complete and total jerk. I would not recommend anyone to him. His has no bedside manner nor will he listen to you.you are better off finding another practice to go to. My pcp sent me to him, speaking very highly of him and got there and spent more time filling out paperwork to no solution to my chronic problems.

I laid in hospital for a week not able to walk and this Dr acted like he had no clue. He was sending doctors in to check my stomach! All he said was Im releasing you and ordered a walker. Thank goodness my sister talked to her chiropractor while I was in the hospital about what was going on. He said bring her to me. He looked at MRI and I had a bulging disc and it was pushed against a nerve causing the pain and not able to bear weight. After 3 visits I was walking without walker, slowly but walking! Why couldnt Dr. Hodges see this! Couple years later I was in a car wreck and re-injured my back and trust me, he is the last doctor that came to mind when I knew I needed a doctor for my back!! I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a back doctor!

Told me I had leukemia and for two weeks my family and I worried, went back and he said laughing he had misread the X-ray. Turned around and tried to leave, had to corner him and get in his face before he somewhat apologized... Terrible manners.

Dr. Hodges crimped my nerves in the back of my neck when he rebuilt my neck. Now my nerves are permanently damaged. Its made my fibromyalgia so bad that my medication does not even help with the pain.

Did back surgery and neck surgery on me and my condition was worse after each surgery. Look elsewhere.
