I have been seeing Dr. Showalter for a little while now. I have a lot of inflammatory issues and could barely move some days since I was so stiff. After coming in for my visits on a regular basis. I feel so much better and I can finally do my daily chores again! Dr. Showalter is a miracle worker!

I went to Dr. Showalter because I was having vertigo when I tilted my head in certain directions, I had a dull ache in my upper right arm, and I was experiencing joint pain in my right elbow. I had been under treatment with another chiropractor in Durham, NC who practiced Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC), but I moved to Chattanooga, TN, and knew I had to find a chiropractor who practiced ABC. This is extremely important because ABC, in my personal experience, is significantly better than typical adjustments. ABC offsets for the aging process and provides a more permanent fix to my back, neck, and overall posture problems as well as removing the pain. I believed it would also take care of my vertigo.During my first visit, I had the initial check-in, conversation about my issues, and immediately went to X-rays, which were digitized, and I saw for myself exactly how badly off I was: my neck is completely straight (no arch); my entire neck is canted to the right; Ive suffered irreparable loss of cartilage between two vertebra; and my back is a complete mishmash of alignments. What a mess!I came back first thing the next day, saw an excellent video about Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC), reviewed the results of the X-rays in-depth, discussed the proposed treatments to handle the pain and the vertigo, and paid a very modest price for the treatment plan. Dr. Showalter made his first adjustments, and afterward, I received therapy to restore the arch in my neck and relax muscles in my back and shoulder. That very day, my vertigo was dramatically less - it wasnt gone, but I only experienced few episodes and mild symptoms! I stopped using my memory foam mattress, returned to a firmer mattress, and I purchased a very special orthopedic pillow. After the second session on Friday, the new pillow, and a weekend on the firmer mattress, my vertigo is GONE!This is my second week of treatment, too, but Ive never met anyone as professional, knowledgeable, and caring as Dr. Showalter. I highly recommend him and his services. I went to Dr. Showalters office with pain and significant issues with mobility in my arms and shoulders. Within the first month, I saw a 60% improvement in my mobility and my pain was basically gone. I have continued treatment for the past month and my mobility continues to improve allowing me to function much more normally (cleaning, personal care, etc. without restriction).

Excellent Chiropractor! The office staff is great and always greets you so friendly. When I came to Dr. Showalter‘s office I could hardly walk without pain. CONTINUED STATEMENT 2It took about an hour, believe me, I questioned him on everything from A to Z, I almost felt I was interrogating him like in the Marine corps, he was cool, calm and confident.Needless to say, I made an appointment for my treatments which had to be approved by the VA and they also had to make sure hes qualified and to be certified as a VA health care provider for Veterans. He does treat many Veterans that are referred by the VA.I dont want to expound how the treatments improved my health, gait, spinal alignment, even headaches like never ever before, it would take 20 more pages.Main reason Im writing this, is that there are many unscrupulous health care providers that are greedy and defrauding the government and/or the Health Insurance and are not caught yet. Some have been caught, in the last 3 months, there were 3 in Cleveland, TN, and half a dozen in Chattanooga, TN that had their license revoked and some jailed including a TN state Representative from Nashville in a drug scheme with medical clinics.Then there are some very honest, dedicated for the care and health of the patient and to be wrongfully accused is a sin and a devastation to a good human being.My experience and observation of Dr. Showalter is that he strives and is dedicated to minimize and relieve the suffering of others.

Dr.Showalter has helped me with various back and neck issues for more than 10 years now..he is an EXCELLENT doctor! Most recently, I had severe loss of feeling sensations in my left arm and hand. I went and had a few adjustments from Dr.Showalter and within a few days all of my feeling in my arm and hand had returned and Im still feeling great today! Dr. Showalter keeps my spine healthy with monthly maintenance adjustments. The neck issues that used to completely incapacitate me are gone! Ive been to various chiropractors as a child due to scoliosis, multiple car accidents, and injuries. I honestly had come to the conclusion that most chiropractors were just out to get money because no one was ever able to help me. Dr. Ted has made a huge difference in my back and neck. I have been to many chiros over the last 20 years due to a fall on icy stairs in college. I have had pain almost every day since. I feel better and have had days of almost no pain since seeing him. YAY!!!!

I should start this with stating that I COMPLETELY believe in chiropractic care. Dr. Showalter is condescending and completely lacks bedside manner. Hes the reason chiropractors get a bad reputation. I went to him multiple times giving him the benefit of the doubt, but it never got better. His staff is struggling every time Ive been in there to do their tasks and act completely overwhelmed by their jobs.

I can hardly express my gratitude to Dr. Showalter and his team at Pinnacle Physical Medicine and Rehab! I am 23 years old and have been experiencing pain in lower back and legs for over 15 years. I was at my breaking point and had all but given up hope. I decided to give Dr. Showalter an chance and I have not regretted that decision. It has only been a little over a month but the progress that I have made in this short amount of time is incredible.
