Was suffering from a lower back injury which was a hyper extension for over a month...and when it wasn’t going away I was willing to try a natural approach. Never had tried acupuncture before but was willing to give it a try....it’s been a week after my 2nd session and my back pain is completely gone. Immediately after my 1st session I felt relief and only minor discomfort from my back pain but noticed a huge difference so went ahead and made another appointment. Now I have all my previously lost mobility and can once again move comfortably. I am so grateful for Dr. Wayne and highly recommend The Wellness tree to anyone!

Well, let me just say that I never expected acupuncture to work for me. I am 40ish yr. woman, and when I was 16 , my car decided to jump off a cliff (accidentally and I was ejected, with multiple pelvic fractures . After years of pain it finally got me down. The first time was 4 days of excruciating pain running from my left hip, all down my leg, nothing I did made it better. Slowly, day after day, and may hot tub soaks later, I was slowly able to move again. In pain, but walking. 6 days later , 💥 bam, pain unbearable. Only way I could stand it was lay in my memory foam bed all day. For 5 days. Finally, I had to try something. Let me tell you, I make the over 3 hour drive to this , Dr. Stephens Keep in mind , I had never had acupuncture before, I just sucked the painful days up and ate a lot of Tylenol. As I pulled into this beautiful little cottage house, if looked so inviting, and cozy, as I walk in the front door, I am greeted with the biggest welcome and I automatically felt really good about getting ready to get this done. Dr. Wayne Stephens was very attuned to everything I had to say. He really payed attention to what I was complaining about and he explained everything on what he would be doing. He is very respectful and relatable and really wants to help his patients. I was in so much pain, I didn’t expect much. But as my procedure was being done and barely feeling the slightest little peck on my body. With each little peck, I got more and more relaxed. And after feeling so relaxed and actually dozing off, I felt lighter. And when it was over and I got up from the table, I stood up, and walked around the room. I felt a little jelly legged , but, it was a good thing. This big relief wave just swooped over my whole body and finally, Relief!! 5 days of straight constant pain, nothing I did gave me any pain free moments. But I was pain free. This big wave of emotions came over me and I was so thankful, I just cried. With tears pouring down my cheeks, I was so grateful. I couldn’t believe, it worked. It actually did, and I didn’t want to celebrate to much, I was hoping this would last. And it did. For two weeks I was walking around again. Now I was really sore, from constant pain in certain places. But I would take that any day. I couldn’t wait to drive back two weeks later. Best of all, he is very affordable!! Thank you Dr Stephens.

Ive been seeing her for a couple months, and I can most certainly see progress in my shoulder. Plus, shes just comforting to be around and has such a contagious positive energy.

AMAZING!!!! this coming from someone who hates needles. I have been having a lot of problems with my health. Been to several doctors and no answers. My daughter asked if I would think about trying a acupuncturist thinking I would say no way. I was having severe headaces and was so dizzy I had to have help with walking, could not drive and was unable to attend church. I said yes how soon can we go. First visit she had to walk me in for my appointment. After first treatment I WALKED OUT ON MY OWN. After third treatment I started driving. Drove myself to next appointment. Their office is like going to someones home, you feel welcomed and comfortable. I will and have been telling everyone about Dr Wayne. He has been a blessing for me.

I had a wonderful visit at this office. Everyone was so nice, respectful, and helpful. I have been healing or healed (I shall say). I am amazed at what acupuncture can do and will do. Went to see Julie Hwang for a long-term tendonitis issue in my arm. After a handful of sessions of cupping and acupuncture I had significant improvement of function and reduced pain. Would absolutely recommend.

I have never experienced the depth of relaxation and overall sense of peace with any other treatment sessions as I do with acupuncture treatments with Wayne Stephens at The Wellness Tree in Red Bank, TN. I had treatments with him for a year - then had to skip a year and now Im back to start taking care of me again. I had an acupuncture and massage session on 8/27/16. My work is fast pace and sitting all day behind a computer. The tension in my neck and shoulders is extreme. Yesterdays session was amazing. I have severe neck issues. Ive had surgery at two levels and am having problems with another two levels. I dont go a single day without having pain or muscle spasms in my arms and hands. The first visit I had with Wayne was completely out of my comfort zone. I was not familiar with acupuncture but was willing to try anything to avoid more surgery. All I can say is it was nothing short of magical. I went almost 6 days without a single spasm. No Advil, no muscle relaxers, nothing. Unbelievable. Ill keep going to him for as long as it takes. Im pretty sure nobody could be more skeptical than I was at my first appointment. Even halfway through, I wasnt sure I made the right choice, but chose to stick it out and give it a chance. Im so glad I did! I was bedridden and immobile for 6 weeks of excruciating sciatica. The medical community let me down. Doctors and specialists love to hand out pain pills as if thats going to fix the problem. Wayne made sure I was comfortable and went above and beyond to help me. Immediately the pain was reduced to a level where I could finally walk without assistance and sit and stand with ease. Im am now a true convert and will recommend acupuncture and other alternative therapies over any so-called doctor or professional from now on!

Im a 56-year-old long-time long-distance runner dealing with the usual issues one would expect after years of hitting the road and the trail, as well as chronic inflexibility and mild stiffness also due, no doubt, to my years of working at a sedentary office job (they say that sitting is the new smoking). Id signed up to do a 314-mile 10-day trek across the State of Tennessee on July 9 of this year, and prior to that I was dealing with a slight on-and-off twinge in my left Achilles, which Id had for quite some time. I had my doubts as to whether the Achilles would be able to hold up for the entire 314-mile journey, but I was going to give it my best shot. I bought a package deal from Wayne at the Wellness Tree which incorporated both acupuncture and massage, and went to see him once a week for the five weeks leading up to my event. All I can say is, I completed the event and covered the 314 miles in 9 days and four hours, and during that time I never had a single problem with my Achilles... or anything else. Ive got a 100-mile event coming up in just a few weeks, and after my success with the TransTennessee event back in July, youd better believe Ive scheduled a couple acupuncture/massage visits with Wayne for that as well! :-) If you have any nagging physical issues that need treating or a bit of tweaking, Id highly recommend a visit with Wayne at the Wellness Tree for a little acupuncture and/or massage. I have been going to Wayne for years. Troubled by low back pain I have tried many different things for pain relief and I can attest to the efficacy of Waynes talents. I can be pain free by going to a chiropractor and going to Wayne. I am very grateful for his work.

The dr was detached and the acupuncture hurt us both worse than we were before we went in there. It was pure torture. No wonder you have to sign a waiver to waive your rights before he will see you. We have no idea how he got these stars. Friends n relatives maybe ? The man that told us about acupuncture said his dr put it in his ear to cure his excruciating wheelchair bound back pain. This man put them everywhere and hurt us. And While you are in horrible pain from the needles they dont even check in on you to see if you are ok or not until after half way through. Thats too long to be in horrible pain, waiting!!! Never again and beware! I thought cuz he had many stars that he was good. They fudged things by saying he has been in business this many years... Yes with messages, but Not acupuncture! They made light of the pain by saying we would be sore. It was not sore, it was painful. And he held the door open in front of the waiting room with me in there showing me without being fully covered. Embarrassing! But when my husband came to the door he slammed it in his face so he couldnt come in there with me. Its been days and we still are in pain. He set us back. We do not recommend him at all.

More then five stars, Dr Wayne Stephens has helped me in so many ways, and not to say my husband, his back pain, leg and foot swelling he could not literally work, two treatments, he is back working, he treated my sciatica, I can sleep and work without pain and if you have sciatica painyou know what I am talking about, I was a smoker over thirty years, not anymore, with one treatment I have stopped and loving it. I have had lumbar and cervical spine issues for approximately two decades. I have done physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, lifestyle changes, steroid injections, nerve blocks, nerve ablation, opioids and lumbar fusion and still suffered with pain.I heard about accupuncture but was hesitant about the procedure. I decided to give in and try to relieve my pain and called The Wellness Tree. Rick explained the process and I went to my first appointment. Dr Wayne has treated me several times since and I must say I am VERY happy because I do not have more energy and can actually start and finish projects the same day. Lovin Life!
