I love working with United Healthcare, as they provide among the best coverages for seniors and people who have both Medicare and Medicaid. My area liaison, Meredith G., is also phenomenal. UHC reps in the call center are also the incredibly helpful when I call broker support, and I love the ancillary benefits they provide for Medicare clients, along with the level of dental, vision, hearing, and drug coverages they offer for Medicare recipients. It almost makes me wish I were eligible for Medicare, so that I could be on their MAPD plan. However, I have a few decades left before reaching that age.#iLoveSeniors#Medicare

I will definitely CHANGE from UHC this winter when the once a year change is allowed. Example of why? My PCP left HMG and went to Atrium. In the midst of credential changing (yes, it HAS to be done) UHC responded thusly. On a Saturday I got a letter saying my PCP was not in network and I would have to pay full price for a visit. The FOLLOWING Monday (next mail delivery day), I got a letter from UHC with a NEW health plan ID card with the NEW PCP that UHC had chosen for me! No warning THEY were going to choose a PCP FOR ME. The 2 letters were mailed on the SAME DAY! Oh and Atrium was MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL about this. They sent to me IN WRITING that I would NOT pay full price or be liable for such! Atrium knows how to GET AND KEEP business. There many more examples but I have to include this one more. UHC uses the sales pitch of $50 worth of FREE goods (bandaids, OTC headache / pain products, etc) each quarter. Wow! Right!? Nope. BEFORE this pandemic, I sent in my order. The items trickled in, one every few weeks until....thats right....the order was NEVER completed. Go with another provider! Even if ti costs you a few $$ more!!

Insurance company estimated $50 for my daughters allergy shot medicine, that turned out to be an $800 expense. What kind of estimating is that. Idiots. Dont choose this insurance. Here I thought BCBS of NC was bad.

United Healthcare are frauds. Read reviews before you even think about choosing this option.
