I have a very high regard for Dr. Connor. The first time I met him he took his time to explain what was involved with my case, the end result, and we talked about the +/-s of what I could expect. My most recent visit was the same, and his advice is greatly appreciated. If I have any further problems Dr, Connor will be the first person I will contact. He is a very fine doctor by reputation, as well as being a very fine gentleman.

I Was greeted by friendly and courteous staff. The facility, including waiting room, bathroom and actual treatment room were all clean and modern with a comfortable temperature. The doctor was friendly, listened to my concerns and explained options. I didn’t feel as if time was up so he could move on to the next patient. Recommend highly.

I was happy with the care and treatment I received at OrthoCarolina. Dr. Conner and his PA Jeremy were friendly, knowledgeable and willing to start with the conservative treatment options I was seeking. The entire staff was professional and made me feel like a valued patient. The only negative I can recall was the parking garage at the sports medicine center. It needs better instructions on how to get to the front door (which is in the back of the building). I went to the side door first, which was locked. Bridge access from the parking garage would also be nice. There is a bridge, but it is for employees only.

Dr. Connor is a fantastic surgeon! He performed my husbands shoulder surgery and I only have positive things to say! The surgery was a success and it is proven by how well his recovery has gone. The physical therapist can’t believe how well his shoulder is doing in therapy! Dr. Connor knows what he doing! He explains things very well and has about very good bedside manner! His PA Sal is fantastic as well! We highly recommend them both!

Dr Pat Connor was my husbands doctor/surgeon for his shoulder so when I developed knee issues he was definitely my go to. Dr Connor is very professional and thorough and I was 100% pleased with him and his staff.

Dr Conner replaced my right shoulder in 2008. The results were terrific. Came time for my left shoulder I went back to him. My PT was very impressed with my lack of pain and I progressed right on schedule. Yesterday was my final visit and Dr Connor and I were both very pleased with my results.

Dr. Patrick Connor is the best Elbow and Shoulder surgeon ever and I recommend him highly. He is probably one of the best in the country. He has a great personality and passion for his job. He truly cares about his patients. His surrounding staff is also amazing and Nurse Lori has been with him the entire time. I started seeing him in 1995 and after around 11 surgeries for elbow and shoulder Osteoarthritis he has been able to allow me to continue to lift and exercise into my late 50s and beyond. My visit with Doctor Connor.Was for a second opinion. Very pleased to say. Dr. OConnor and his colleague took the time to look into my medical problem. The doctor explained my problem to me in laymans terms the best that he could. He advised me to do some research on a technique that could be used to help me. I took the doctors advice and I did. I emailed him later that afternoon within one hour the doctor got back with me.I can honestly say I was treated in that office by all staff and doctor as a human being. And not a person with a number. I was very comfortable with his knowledge and also his staffs knowledge. I will continue to see dr. OConnor to take care of this matter. I live in Myrtle Beach South Carolina so it is a travel to see them. Needless to say worth every hour and Penny spent

The South Park location is beautiful and everyone is kind and efficient. Dr Connor and his PA Sal have been great. My total shoulder replacement has been a great experience. Everything went smooth. Dr Connor took time answering my questions and as did Sal. Don’t want to go anywhere else. Dr Connor’s nurse, Lori was great and so helpful!

Dr. Connor was very polite and explained everything in detail about the operation. He also explained what could go wrong if I had the operation. I would recommend Dr. Connor to anyone who needs a great orthopedic surgeon. Ortho Carolina is the place to go if you have any can of problems with your joints.

I had a very severe and uncommon fracture to my shoulder and was referred from outside of Charlotte area. Dr. Connors office fit me in the next day and underwent my surgery two days later. I had 3 months of immobilization and a total of 9 months of physical therapy. I am a swimmer and triathlete and full recovery was questionable. I have returned to full function and owe the success to his surgical skills along with the physical therapists that became my second family during my treatment. I never felt rushed by Dr. Connor or his staff and always felt that he spent plenty of time explaining my injury, treatment plan, and potential outcome. He was always professional and the office worked around my schedule and the fact that I lived an hour and a half away. I would highly recommend him with absolutely no reservations.The problem with all of the Rate and Review websites is that it is only the unhappy patients who seem to post and this does not reflect the majority of the patient experiences. Most happy patient go on to enjoy their lives and dont bother to post their positive experiences. I would normally not post any personal information but after reading the negative reviews felt I needed to express how GREAT my care was. As with anything that is posted on the Internet, make sure you do your research and confirm both positive and negative opinions. May you never require the services of any surgeon, but if you do, know he and his staff are fabulous!

Dr. Connor is the top in his field and is great. He repaired my shoulder.He explained everything thoroughly in the pre op appointment and was the only surgeon out of three to go through my MRI with me. For the surgery he even worked around my tattoo sleeve for incisions.Great guy, very good and the man to see for shoulder issues.

I broke my arm the day before Thanksgiving 2018 and went to OrthoCarolina for treatment and physical therapy. They have been incredibly kind and helpful through the entire process. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and I don’t think I ever waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. The times I showed up early for physical therapy they were able to get me in and right then and get started. Every member of staff was kind, courteous and caring, and while I wouldn’t recommend breaking a bone, if you do, I’d definitely recommend Dr. Connor or any of of the staff at OrthoCarolina.

Dr Pat Connor recently operated on my daughters acl for her right leg. She injured it in her first game at Guilford College Womens Soccer Game . McKaley felt the dreaded pop and Dr Connor was quick to review the mri. Dr Connor had operated on her twice before for acl in the left leg and meniscus tears on her right. This time it was acl on her right plus meniscus tears in the front and back.One of the hopeful ideas you hold onto during this time is that your surgeon can restore you back to 100% playing abilities and as expected the surgery went well and we are starting rehab. When you have the kind of confidence my daughter has with Dr Connor, the prospect of regaining her collegiate form is much more certain. We are so thankful for the entire team at Ortho Carolina as each step of the way was met with compassion and excellence. Thank you!

I wouldnt recommend this physician to my worst enemy.  He came into my appointment with a condescending, rude attitude, didnt discuss or view my MRI with me, refused to answer my polite questions, and misdiagnosed my condition.  His diagnostic troubleshooting skills are pitiful, especially for a surgeon who has been doing that job for that length of time.  I dont know if maybe he only has interest in sports injuries and has gotten into a comfort zone with that, but I definitely expected more from a physician who works with the Carolina Panthers. I had read reviews on other websites regarding his less than personable bedside manner, but I figured if he was a great surgeon with logical thought processes, it didnt matter; however, it was a complete waste of my time and money seeing him.

I think he is a awesome doctor and his staff are all nice and very professional.

I came to Doctor Conner for a 2nd surgery for my right rotator cuff, several years ago. He was extremely thorough in ascertaining the necessary information in order to perform my surgery. From the explaining the X-rays, to providing realistic expectations of both the surgical procedure, and the necessary recovery time and physical therapy...he leaves nothing to chance. Within the last year, I had revisit Dr. Connor because of the unusual injury of tearing my bicep muscle. Once again, he and his team at OrthoCarolina, provided me with excellent care throughout the entire process. I can’t say enough great things about his expert knowledge, and his compassionate care for his patients. Feel free to ask me questions about my experience as his patient. Dr corner is best of the best.

Great doctor!! He corrected a meniscus tear on my right knee. My son is now his patient. My son saw him with a UCL issue from pitching. His recommendation of not doing surgery and rehabing his arm made it possible for him to play instead of missing two seasons of baseball due to surgery.

Got to hospital at 130 taken back at at 730 he came in and said he was unable to do the surgery. I had not had food for20 hr.no water for 9 hr. I think its becous I am a vet.and was using the v a I wish there was a 1/3 star.the nfl can have him its all about the money . Berry unprofessional.

Never went to a more belligerent or obnoxious doctor. He called it all wrong. Despite my going in with an MRI, he ordered about a dozen xrays for no reason. That certainly did not help him diagnose the problem and he left by walking out and slamming the door. The Panthers can have him!

Not sure about the other reviews, but my experience was great with a tricky curve ball during surgery and great bedside manner.
