The name initially reeled me in. The service made me want to continue to have all my dental needs done here! Allll of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I felt like we had known each other for years. The service prices are also outstanding, and they were willing to work with me when I fell a little short. I have and will continue to recommend Modern Family Dental Care to anyone in need of some work.

I had an awesome experience with seeing the hygienist Jeannie. She was amazing and very thorough. She educated me on products I could use in my everyday routine. Let’s just say very friendly and patient. And the doctor was amazing as well. Great experience.

I wouldn’t recommend it. DR.PRATHEEK KONERU Service is terrible. I have been in pain since leaving his office last week Thursday. When I asked why I’m experiencing so much discomfort, he said I been had this pain before and didn’t notice it. I wasn’t in pain until after he worked on me. During my service, I felt rushed. He put numbing gel on me and, Immediately numbed me with the needle. Afterward, he started drilling, and I yelled out in pain cause I could feel it. He then numbed me again. I do not believe he gave it time to numb my mouth before getting started. After leaving the dentist, I was numb for 5 hours. I went back the following Monday, and he wanted to drill my teeth again to fix my bite, and I refused. I will not go to someone who rushes to get the job done and brushes off my pain. Overall I got the vibe he just doesn’t know what he’s doing, and I will be going somewhere else to receive service. I wouldn’t wish that feeling on anybody.

I had a great experience. I schedule an appointment online the night before and I got called the next day and they moved my appointment up so I could all the treatments I needed. The staff was very welcoming and professional. I definitely recommend!

When I arrived it was a very pleasant atmosphere , the receptionist was veryprofessional and.really eased some of my expected anxiety about going to the dentist. The dental assistant was very knowledgeable and made my examination very smoothly and kept me informed at all times. I was treated with the utmost care during the procedure. I throughly enjoyed my dental experience. I went in with a dental emergency thinking my procedure was going to be painful when in actuality the hygienist immediately saw the fright on my face and assured me i was in some of the best care for my situation. This was my first visit and I must say it was a great experience. The front desk ladies are the sweetest and set the tone for you appointment. The lady I worked with was so sweet made conversation and broke down everything to me! I wish I was better with names! The dentist was very straight forward, let you know what is needed and when to get it set up. This was a great experience for me and my husband. This place is a COMPLETE fraud!! They will lie to you about being in-network, so, please make sure you check your insurance’s website prior to finding a provider. Prior to my examination, I was offered fluoride cleaning for $45.00 and an oral cancer screening for $65.00. After asking about my insurance, I was advised that I would have to pay out of pocket. After the examination, I was taken to a back room to speak with a financial specialist to talk about costs for fillings. This was the only thing discussed with the dentist. As I met with the financial specialist, she gave me a sheet of paper with a $150.00 cost on it, stating that I would need to pay this today before I get a gingivitis cleaning today. WHAT?! She then indicated that she knew nothing about the fillings and that they could not do a regular cleaning on my teeth. The cleaning that is covered 100% by my insurance. After indicating that was not the reason the appointment was made and was not a recommendation of the dentist, the got up and walked to me to door, which was right beside the office. No paperwork. No nothing. As stated, make sure it’s completely covered by your insurance. You’d think there were honest people in the service industry that would advise you of the truth, but it’s honestly about the buck in this place! Please be careful!! These people are more than shady!

I was in a lot of pain and scared. This was the best dental experience I have ever had in my 52 years. The staff was very nice and realy wanted to make sure that I was ok. I originally came to the other office in 2014 to have some dental work done. I was very please with the dental work that was done and I can say that the doctor met my expectation. Most recently I was in the university office to have a dental repair done and I can say once again I was very please again with the work.

Excessive wait over 25 minutes in waiting room in spite of having an appointment and no one there. TV in waiting room so loud it gave me a headache! The office texted me saying they needed to move my appointment from 3pm to 2:30 pm because the hygienist has a family emergency. So I came at 2:30. Now the owner replies to this post claiming I came 30 min early. Well, that’s what the person who texted me said to do so there is no confusion here. Point is if you ask me to come at 2:30, then be prepared to see me. Otherwise don’t change my appointment!

Absolutely horrible. If you value knowing what your bill will be at time of service never ever go here or to any of their locations. If you enjoy getting gotcha bills after services are already rendered continue to go. Their business practices are completely unethical with no discussion on possible financial responsibilities and once you get the bill youre belittled that you dont understand. I would rather have my teeth fall out than continue to be a patient here.Why can ever other business be clear estimates / costs prior to services being rendered?Beware of the 5 star reviews.

I was looking for a new long term dentist since my recent move and decided to schedule an appointment with Modern Family at Davis Lake because of the reviews. My experience was quite enjoyable considering I ended up getting two extractions and a cleaning. The staff is very personable, yet professional. My only issue would be the amount of emails I receive within a week, but I would definitely recommend this dental office to family and friends.

On this experience at Davis Lake Modern Family Dental I was not please about it at all. I had two crowns to be replaced and each of the temporary came out of my mouth within a few days after getting them in. I came in today to get the permanent put in. I am praying that these will stay in and allow me to eat food in comfort.

They were not rushed and you can tell everybody is confident with they work. Dr Taj is very nice and he took his time to listen to me. Receptionist, Dentist, and the woman at check out were all very friendly! Thank you for the cleaning, I’m just happy that after not having dental insurance for so long i was able to go have a proper cleaning. The hygienist however, was not the most welcoming of people and I did not get a good vibe from her. I’m not sure if it was just the Monday blues, but she was not very friendly. That’s it though, everything else was very professional and I had a good time.I liked that the dentist cared about how I felt about my smile. You could tell he really cares for his patients.

I was referred to this practice by one of their current patients. I have never been more pleased with the service, sincerity and overall satisfaction of everyone Ive been in contact with. They are upfront as to what they recommend and have several options available for payment. Any questions, reschedules or documentation needed was given without any delay! I’ve been coming here for 3 years. My whole family comes here. They are awesome. So professional and friendly staff. I’m come here for routine check up and they fixed my chipped tooth last year it looked great. Everybody I have encountered in the Davis lake office was so nice and professional. Recommend them to everyone. My first year with them I did not have insurance so they have an awesome wellness plan for 2 checks up yearly.

This Dentist and all the staff are SUPER AWESOME!!! Kind, gentle and so caring. The kind of pros you want and need to attend to your dental issues! The dentist made me feel so comfortable and kept reassuring me that I would feel no pain. I felt no pain, my fear was gone I was actually shocked. As a child, I had the worse dental experiences and grew to dislike anything that had to do with dentists. Modern Family Dental Care changed my nightmares into dreams. Its hard to find true caring professional service now a days. I want to pack them up and take them everywhere with me. Lol : )

I have had multiple procedures done at Modern Family Dental Care over the past few years. I started with Dr. Haynes and he was phenomenal through all of my procedures. This past week I went to see Dr. Spaulding and she is also absolutely phenomenal. She was very understanding of what I was wanting done and she explained the process to me and made me feel comfortable in a not so comfortable procedure. Also, Jamie helped with all of my billing and she was fantastic and very helpful. I love Modern Family Dental Care and will be back in the future! Thanks again everyone for the great service!

Although I was there for nearly 2 hours on my initial visit, the staff did a thorough job of examining, photographing, and cleaning my teeth. Quality work takes time and they documented the evaluation of my teeth in detail. My teeth had never felt that clean after a cleaning before. Thanks for the great and friendly service!

Please read!!!! Do not go here!!! This place is why I do not like dentist. If you dont have insurance they will push you to buy this plan they have to save you 20 percent of your bill. All they do is jack it up 20 percent first... Way over priced.. plus they push you to pay up front. . Please get second opinion if you have gone here.....trust me! You Will Save Money!!!! But also know,.. If you do get a second opinion, dont let them know, they will send you a letter stating they do not want to be your dentist anymore. These people are greedy and rude. They also wanted to do a root canal on one of my teeth that didnt need it. Please get a second opinion if you have gone here .........

Very nice and respectful, they really want to help you the best they can and the doctors are very attentive and caring about how you take care of your teeth. I appreciated how nice they were considering I just moved from a different dentistry and they were very rude; so it was nice to be around such positive people. I had a root canal and extraction, surgery’s were easy and they care about your pain level and discomfort. They do everything which is nice not to have to go to different offices to get things done, they work with your schedule. Only thing that sucks is they aren’t open on the weekends :(, it’s kinda hard to find a way to get in there between jobs and school

Had 4 implants installed that hold my entire upper denture. Definitely the way to go if you have poor teeth only getting worse.Good work by Dr. Haynes and staff. They perform all the services at their location from pulling teeth to complete dentures and adjustments. Some places dont - what a mess that would be.They offer care credit at zero interest.If youre in the market check them out.

I loved, loved, loved the hygienist Lauren. She was excellent, great people skills. The doctor was nice but not much people skills. He did not interact w me or my son, he seemed like he could get out of the room fast enough, sorry cant remember the doctors name. My son loved Candace, he said she was very professional and personable. The front desk young lady was very sweet, friendly, professional and helpful! I am glad that I spent 98% of my visit w the hygienist and not the doctor. I would recommend MFD to my friends. Atmosphere is great and very clean. My cleaning was 100% and I will definitely return and my son also.

The customer service here is amazing. All of the staff are great and welcoming! Jaime the medical office assistant at the front is great as well! I just love it there! That’s why I made them my dentist now!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Im a person who is terrified and have a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist... Ive had some bad experience in the past to say the least. But this place is so awesome, the dental assistants, and the dentist, make sure that youre okay before they move forward with any type of work on you. My experience here was very pleasant, the staff was very nice and welcoming. I was very worried about the pain of getting all numbed up with the needles in my gums but to my surprise I barely felt the sticks, Dr Haynes is awesome. He was very calming and confident that he would take it slow and easy to cause any as least discomfort as possible. This is the best experience I have at the dentist. I will return for future dental work and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Clark and his team are very professional, friendly, honest and caring. My crown came loose and had to be cemented and instead of going to my regular dentist in uptown I went to Modern Family Dental care close to where I live. Dr. Clark did a perfect job cementing my crown. I highly recommend them.

After a year I get a collection notice saying I have an unpaid balance but I find that very hard to believe when I paid nearly $400 at my last cleaning for what wasn’t covered by my insurance. I never received any bills in the mail or any notice of an unpaid balance until now. They have my address and my phone number. They’ve surly called me to reschedule my upcoming cleaning but never ONCE mentioned anything about owing any money. This is ridiculous. Screwing with someone’s credit before even following standard procedures. Their billing dept is absolute trash.
