My daughter started here (Ashley River Rd) when she was 5 months old and is almost 11 months. Despite being difficult to leave my baby, I quickly felt relief. My girl lights up when she gets there and has bonded with several of the women. As a first-time-mom, I also have the benefit of telling them what’s going on with my girl at home and getting ideas on what to do. Could not be happier!!!

My daughter has been at La Petite right under two years now. Shes been through the infant room, the creeper room, and the toddler room. Every single lady in all of these rooms have adored and loved my daughter as if she were their own. When she is dropped off in the morning I know shes in good hands and safe. The educational activities in the creeper room are fantastic!! The toddler room has wonderful songs with movements. I can tell because when I try to introduce a song at home she already knows it!! The staff: teachers and administrators are so very personable and truly care. I wouldnt take my daughter anywhere else in West Ashley. :)

My daughter was fortunate to have been enrolled at La Petite on Ashley River Road. She grew and learned so much during her time there.Everyone - from the director, to administrators, to each and every staff member - clearly cares a great deal about the children there, and takes great pride in teaching and loving them. I highly recommend the La Petite on Ashley River Road for any childcare needs. We will miss them!

La Petite was our baby’s first daycare, they could not have been more wonderful. We quickly felt a bond with his teachers and other classmates, we were very sad to move him to a center closer to home but the traffic of 61 was a problem for our schedules. I would recommend them to anyone.

As a preschool teacher for 21 years, I have enjoyed working for this company. My experience at La Petite Academy has been a great pleasure. I have enjoyed working with many different age groups at the academy. I love teaching and watching the children learn and grow.-Elaine

I’m an occupational therapist and I go to this daycare at least once weekly for two years now to provide therapy for a few children there and every time I go I am disappointed in the care provided for these children. The only teachers I’ve enjoyed communicating with are the infant teachers, they show true love for these little ones. Majority of the other teachers are incredibly rude and unaccommodating. There are teachers here who threaten children with reading books if they have behavioral issues... we want children to love to read and this is a punishment here. If the teachers themselves are in bad moods, everyone feels it, especially the children. I do not recommend this child care center for any family.

I moved to SC from Kentucky with no idea about schools. I did as much research as possible and ended up here at La Petite. The director at this location was always involved and ready to help. My child enjoyed this school and the teachers were always involved. I never caught one of them texting on personal phones or having side conversations with other staff. I can honestly say each member was fully involved with each child through the day. This was also my child first daycare and as a first time mom I was extremely picky and this school lived up to my picky expectations and beyond. Thank you to everyone at La Petite. Peace of mind while your child is at daycare is truly priceless.

My daughter started going to the La Petite in West Ashley when she was 2 years old. We put her in right about the time she was potty training. The staff was amazing and she was potty trained in no time! My daughter is now 5 and attending kindergarten. Her teacher was amazed with how prepared she was for the school year. My daughter was reading on a level well above average and I know I owe that to the teachers and staff at La Petite. They prepared her with reading, the smart board tools and sight words. She is about to graduate from kindergarten and is currently on the 3rd grade level of sight words. Our experience with La petite far exceeded any expectation we could have had. My daughter started school with some of her buddies from La Petetie and they have all exceled. I would highly recommend this school to any one who is looking for a day care that treats your family like their own!

Great Place, Wonderful Staff.

Staff was rude; my son was injured in their care and I was not notified until I got there to pick him up and then had to rush him to the emergency room.
