Amazing. I was nervous about going. They made me feel welcomed, and treated me and my mother with great respect. We saw different stylist and both were wonderful. Not only did we both receive exactly what we wanted, the stylist made us look and feel beautiful and confident. Deb was excellent.

Great service! Georgia Davis (Gigi) did my hair and it turned out great! I had been looking for a new place to get my hair done before the pandemic and lockdown. I think I have found it at Hair We Are with Gigi.

I went in to lighten the balayage I already had and get a hair cut. When I went in and sat down Georgia asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted to go a little bit lighter. She told me no and said my hair would fall out. I disagreed and asked again for the service I drove almost 2 hours for. She said she would lighten the half inch of roots that grew out but not touch the already bleached part. I asked again for the service I booked and she said she wanted a second opinion. She called another employee over and the employee said it was be fine but she still didnt want to do it. Eventually she agreed to do the half inch of my roots and about half an inch of my already bleached hair. I thought this meant she would be blending it, I was wrong. I noticed there wasnt very much foil in my hair and she laughed and said this is the best balayage because she doesnt have to do very much. After washing my hair and drying she said that my hair couldve handled the service I asked for (as if I didnt try telling her that) and told me to come back to get it done. My hair is so uneven I literally have bands of bleached parts in my hair. To top it off she never cut my hair and I got charged for a full balayage even though not even a full 2 inches of my hair was touched!! Im so disappointed with my hair and I drove all the way from Vienna because this place had good reviews.

I had a Balayage done by Kendra which originally did not turn out how I wanted. I called the next day and she was happy to tone it up again and get it to where I wanted it. She was kind and receptive to my needs. I would recommend this salon.

Kara is the best! She is so sweet and always takes her time with my hair. I always leave with it looking just like how I ask for it.

Whitney Cunningham is great!!! She spent 4 hours coloring and styling my hair. I have a dark brown hair and it is quite challenging to color . She was sooooo nice and patient . I highly recommend this place and Miss Cunningham . Will definitely come again.

Lord, if you go to this salon be prepared for the shock of the bill. $300.00, I came home and my husband asked if I was still going to get my hair done...there really was no difference in my balayage and before I went in the salon. Not worth it at all. Theyre in the south hills area, which is apparently the Beverly Hills LA of WV with those prices. 😳 This was several years ago, and no I have not nor will I ever return to this salon. Absolutely a waste of time and a LOT of money.

My fiance went to get an ombre, had the appointment scheduled for weeks, got in and the woman said she didnt have time to do that today claiming it was a balayage.

Functional, but I had to ask to get a shampoo after my haircut even though its part of the appointment. Also not until I got home did i notice my sideburns were uneven. Granted the atmosphere felt nice and COVID distancing and masks were required making this all more difficult. Maybe worth revisiting post COVID to see if it was a fluke by one person having an off day.

A story of redemption: Went here a few months ago and had a bad experience, my hair cut was not what I had wanted. So I posted a 2 star review. One of the owners reached out to me wanting to make it right. Just had the appointment with Haleigh after letting my hair grow out, and let me say she is amazing. My hair looks more feminine, and I absolutely love it. I appreciate how she reached out to fix it and even though lots of things where going at the salon she made me feel important. So thank Haleigh you have my business from now on.

I botched my own hair dye job really good like coming out neon orange and wrecking my curls then Debra over here at HairWeAre totally fixed it. She totally toned down the neon orange into a nice copper tone that looks amazing, did a deep moisturizing treatment which made my curls come back and gave me a nice trim to make my curly fro a little more shape. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Amanda is Fantastic! I came to the salon 15mins after a bad haircut at another salon. Amanda fixed the disaster. Believe me I went ready to cry and left very happy. Im not going anywhere else from now on.

Amber Miller is one of the best hair stylists I’ve ever had do my hair. I’ve been with her for years and she always knows the latest styles and she is excellent with coloring my hair. I always feel like a million bucks after leaving. I’d love to learn more about the nail salon part of the place, like prices, do they do gel polishes, and do they do designs.

I stated my opinion on one of their pictures on Facebook and they deleted it, then I left a review and they turned off reviews so that the public wouldn’t see, so obviously they know that they have done wrong. The management & owner of this salon are completely unprofessional and have very little care for their stylists. There are some wonderful stylists here and I hope they take their talent elsewhere before they waste their precious time here. -1 stars

I felt a little unwelcome with my children by one of the stylists (the manager, I believe). The stylist that cut my daughters hair was nice and did a good job, though. However, I will seek out a more child friendly place in the future.

I have very thick hair that grows in two directions an is terribly difficult to cut. I have never ever had a bad haircut here with anyone. They know what theyre doing.

Ive never had a bad cit here. Never done color but I have seen great results come out of the salon. Every girl on there has been skilled in my opinion.

Came in with over processed over bleached extremely damaged ugly orange hair, because like countless others who see YouTube videos I thought it would be okay to bleach out my hair it wont fall out it wont happen to me but it did!! Thank God for Audrey who made me feel pretty again yes I had to cut a lot off but she toned the color and didnt lecture me.

Sam absolutely destroyed my hair. The color was not even close to what I asked for. I asked for very light, long layers. She cut off a huge chunk (5 inches) on my right side. The cut is choppy and uneven. She was texting on her phone the whole time and was obviously distracted. I once had my hair cut by a friend when I was 16. It was horrible. My friend did a better job than the cut I got by Sam. It is going to take a couple years for this to be repaired.I came in a showed the manager what Sam did to my hair. She was rude and refused to refund my money and insisted I allow them to redo it. Then she suggested that I allow Sam to fix my hair. After I refused, another stylist fixed my hair and did what she could.Completely dissatisfied with the service, will never go back.
