I have a prior shoulder injury that required a few surgeries. Over the years the only thing thats helped was cupping and massages. However the pain would only go away for a few days or a week. The muscle in my shoulder was always tight, which made my neck hurt which caused headaches. I started seeing Brian, he knew I was super apprehensive and started the first session with teaching me some stretches and cupping. My work is rough on the body. Heavy lifting and repetitive motion are virtual guarantees that we will experience injury at some point.A month ago, after daily ibuprofen for arm pain, I pathetically dragged myself to Tarah, convinced that nothing could be done. I had an exceptional experience visiting Tarahs practice while she was in NYC. As an avid runner, she was able to treat the knots and tightness in my legs using Trigger Point and occasionally cupping therapy . The day after every visit my legs felt as if they hit a reset button and helped me continue training without any discomfort. Tarah treated me with acupuncture and reiki once a week for 4 months. I was new to acupuncture and reiki. My menstrual cycle was completely off and I felt blocked from my emotions due to a recent breakup. I always thought reiki sounded like hippie BS but Tarahs work proved me wrong.
