My daughter has been at Chapel Hill Daycare since she was 2 months old and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Her teachers have been supportive, loving, and nurturing and have truly become part of the family. My husband and I are completely amazed at the things she learns at school. As an only child, it can be difficult for our daughter to interact with peers but her teachers work with us and with her and have really helped her learn to share and give and how to play with others. In addition to all of this, her teachers use her interests to help her learn. She started to like numbers after her cousins showed her a counting video and we told her teachers about it. Soon afterward I got to hear about activities they did when I picked her up at the end of the day like using number bean bags to throw and count, using magnetic numbers, and even counting the animals in blocks center. I now have a 2- year old who can count to 13 and count a group of objects correctly, as well as identify the numbers 1-10 because she had teachers who took the time to expand on what she was interested in. And, even though she will move to a new classroom and leave behind her infant/ toddler teachers next year, I am completely confident that she will be successful because Chapel Hill Daycare is a community within itself. When we pick her up in the afternoon, ALL of the teachers say goodbye to her and they all know who she is even though she has never been in their classroom. She also has little friends from the other 2 year old and toddler classrooms and even the preschool classrooms that know who she is. I feel that she already part of the family no matter which classroom she goes to.

I have 2 children (aged 1 and 2) at Chapel Hill Daycare and I could not be happier with our experience. My children are happy and excited to go to school and their teachers are equally happy and excited to see my children. It warms my heart to observe both my kids engaged and playing with their friends, all the while being exposed to new activities and experiences in a safe and comforting environment. My kids are learning new social and academic skills daily and get plenty of exercise. I am a big supporter of the play based learning at this stage. I also really like the diversity of the staff and the attention that both of my children receive. The staff is well informed of my children’s behaviors during the day, whether it be activity level, sleep, food consumption, etc. They genuinely care about the kids and it feels like a natural extension to my family.

My 4 year old son currently attends Chapel Hill Daycare Center. It is a joy to pick him up each day and find him happy, safe, and a little dirty/sweaty from all the fun he had. He is always excited to tell me about his day and share the new things he has learned. I am confident that he is learning key academic, social, and life skills that will serve him well as he transitions to kindergarten (and beyond). I am grateful for the teachers and staff at Chapel Hill Daycare Center for their commitment to providing an environment where my son can thrive. They really care about kids and families, and it shows!

Our toddler is currently in Chapel Hill Daycare Center and our older son attended it since he was 2 until he turned 5. Between the two of them, we have gone through every classroom in the Center and can say that we (and they) have loved our experience there. Our kids have learned (and is still learning) important social and academic skills through play, and we have been delighted to watch our older child grow into a confident and respectful little guy! The teachers and staff really care about the children, are warm and nurturing, and the curriculum for every age group is fun and enriching. And the food is Yum!!!

We love Chapel Hill Day Care Center! My oldest son graduated from CHDCC and astonished his teachers in kindergarten with his academic ability gained from attending here. My youngest son still attends and never wants to leave at pick-up time! We know how hard it is to find a center that works for active kids with teachers you love and trust with your most valuable possessions and we found a home here with CHDCC.
