Unprofessional, and unorganized staff. This facility does not report immunizations other than COVID to the North Carolina Immunization Registry (NCIR). This not only makes for incomplete patient records, but hinders other medical providers from verifying if a patient has had an immunization. Staff says it is not their duty to report, while every other doctor and pharmacy report to NCIR in a timely manner.

The staff is literally always so rude. Whether you call or go in, youre guaranteed to be greeted by people who are passive and unwelcoming. Every time I call they sound like they cant be bothered, or wont even say hello. Every time Ive been in I have felt so belittled. I understand they probably deal with a lot of annoying students, but a medical staff with an attitude is kind of the last thing you want to be surrounded by when trying to get medical help. Even CAPS, which is absolutely crazy in my opinion - were encouraging students to seek psychological help by people who are mean to them?

I had a great experience at campus health. All of the staff and healthcare providers were friendly, considerate, and helpful. I give my highest recommendation.

I do not recommend meeting with Dr. Corey McCabe. He did not seem to care about reading my paperwork upon first meeting and did not directly address my concerns as a patient. He did not recommend seeing a cardiologist while i still expressed a daily issue i experience with my heart. He strongly expressed I was healthy while I do not feel physically healthy. Please avoid this doctor.

If I could give them a zero I would. Misdiagnosed me five times over a month. You are better off diagnosing yourself.

I had two terrible experiences here and do not recommend. On the first experience, a doctor kept insisting something ridiculous and then claimed that it was probably just something I never noticed before when I came in for a rapid and painful growth. Her attitude seemed be why are you even here. Since I am not a doctor, I do not have medical expertise and do not know which conclusions I need to make. A doctor should not belittle your reasons for coming. Nor should they make you feel that uncomfortable. Nor should they fail to provide reasons (or at least emphasize the lack of research done in that area). That contradicts their job title. After deciding to never visit that doctor again, I went back to another doctor for a lump I noticed in my throat while yawning and looking in a mirror. Same exact treatment. The doctor dismissively asked me What are you worried about? That is the question you should be answering, but if I were to do a google search on lumps in throats, I am sure I could find plenty of results to be worried. This doctor made me even more uncomfortable than the last when she had me gag to demonstrate the lump to a colleague of hers. I am the one who is already quite uncomfortable as I gag in front of two stranger looking down my throat. When her colleague acted as if this was the weirdest thing to be doing, said she couldnt see it, but said she was sure it was fine, and then dismissively left, I felt extremely uncomfortable. I would rather not have you looking down my throat as you gag and I would rather you be using an endoscope. I agree that it is pretty weird of me to be put in this position, but I do think, the doctors job is to make me more comfortable. Not to be the reason Im uncomfortable. So then when she said it was nothing to be worried about, I asked what exactly that lump was and all she could really say was I dont know. I just dont know what to do with that. I also mentioned that the previous growth had seemed to increase and was met with a How could you know that? Of course, that is a subjective observation. I am not measuring things out as if my body is a scientific experiment, but I was once again confused as to why I had to defend myself. On my end, I visited the doctor for a lump in my throat as well as a rapid, painful growth. As far as I know, those are valid concerns. And I genuinely have a very busy schedule this semester, so I had to try hard to make time for these visits and just felt so uncomfortable and belittled afterwards. Never again... Almost makes me want to stop pursuing medicine...

I went here for COVID-19 testing and was rushed to do the questionnaire with no time to put thought into where I would be quarantining if given a positive result. Also not explicit in how much the test would cost, if anything at all, before I had it administered.

Do not come to this place unless you need a band-aid. The staff was friendly but my doctor was quick to rush me out and did not take some of my concerns as serious as they were. I now have to make a trip to Urgent Care in hopes that someone will actually address whats going on with my body instead of brushing it off with a quick, POSSIBLE, explanation.

I’ve always had a good experience here! My IUD placement was a smooth process and I was attended to with great care. Anytime I have to get an immunization I am seen quickly and also treated kindly. My primary care experiences have also been good—I love Katie Gaglione/Amy Rodriguez! Sometimes the front receptionists can be a little flat-affect-y but I’m sure the monotony of the job isn’t great. My CAPS experience has also been very positive! I was able to be seen by a psychiatrist very quickly for an acute need.

So easy to book an appointment (especially over the phone). Great service typically, sometimes can take a little while if very busy. The physicians and nurses are so nice and helpful. Always know what they are doing and easy to get medicine/treatment!

I was taken almost immediately when I walked into the student health center and the receptionists were very welcoming. My provider Amy Rodriguez was extremely attentive and made me feel very well taken care of. She even followed up after my appointment when I wasn’t expecting it. I am very pleasantly surprised with my experience.

This place gets tough in and out within and hour, helps you get what you need to feel better. Then they call you after the appointment to see how youre doing. The staff is great, the environment is friendly and its overall a great experience.

Ive come here for things ranging from a severe knee injury to being diagnosed for a thyroid problem. All the staff are friendly and will tell you where to go. The doctors always listen to my concerns and I feel like theyve taken good care of me. Theyre also very timely! I never have to wait excessively. Even when Ive been there early I havent had to wait long.

Its easier to go if you book an appointment over the phone, but when you do the staff is always very friendly and thoughtful about your privacy. I have gone for a variety of reasons as well, even before I went abroad and needed vaccinations and medications for my destination.

If you have a real problem this isnt the place to go. They will always refer you to a specialist, so you might be better off skipping this step. Also had a very unpleasant visit with a grumpy, officious gynecologist.

Avoid Campus Health at all costs. They only waste your time and wont give you any medicine. A significant number of false diagnoses, too. Goto the FastMed Urgent Care
