I called a dozen places for an electrical emergency, and they simply told me they were booked and wished me luck. Even though Carol didnt have time in her schedule for an emergency visit, she asked to to FaceTime with me to see the problem I was having and determine whether there were any quick fixes I could do while waiting for an electrician to come out. Her professionalism and compassion astounded me. There is no question that I will call her first for any electrical issues in the future.

Called several places before Carols and was lied to and told my house was going to catch fire. Carols guys came out and we’re honest, professional, and got the job done same day without any scarcity. They have a life time customer from this day forward, 10/10 don’t waste your time else where.

Based on reviews I have read, this did not seem to surprise any other customers, yet I want anyone reading to be aware.I wanted to share a review regarding Carol’s Electric and a disputed charge. The charge was for 30 additional minutes the workers were driving to my home for $82.50. The owner categorized it as driving time, trip charge, It can be called travel time, a diagnostic fee or anything under the sun.The backgroundI had scheduled minor work to be done in my home. Since the work was going to be done by a professional electrician I knew it would not be inexpensiveThe two gentlemen that showed up were very nice and got the work done. They were in my home for less than ONE hour.When it came time to pay I wrote out a check for the full amount even though one of the projects was not able to be completed (this was due to the type of fan not to the workers)I received an invoice showing what I had paid for in my email and I was very concerned to see I was charged for 1.5 hoursI reached out via email to ask why and was told that the .5 hours was for DRIVING TIMENeedless to say, I was shocked because in the 10 years I’ve been in my home and the multiple service providers I have come out here I have never been charged drive/travel time.I responded to the owner that I was very disappointed and found the amount of $82.50 exorbitant for drive time. I also explained that I felt that a charge like this is the exception to the norm. Especially since it was not laid out on the website nor was it told to me in any form (phone text or email)I did request a refund because I didn’t expect to have to pay for drive/travel time.I was refused and advised that it is not reasonable to expect two workers, a fully equipped truck, insurance, etc. to not be included in the charge.Just making everyone aware

I cant say enough about Carols Electric. She and her team were prompt, accurate with their quote, showed up on time and were wonderful to work with. I especially appreciated, as her business is growing, she had an apprentice working on part of my job. She made sure to come by before the days work ended and check the work and see if I was pleased. Highly recommend her service.

Weve used them several times for projects as simple as additional outlets and home lighting to working with Duke Energy to put in a new meter for another building on our property. Carol is honest and creative and approaches each job with the clients best interests in mind. I called Carols electronics over a minor problem. They could have come out, charged me $200 and Id have been fine. Instead the person on the phone explained what the problem probably was (ground switch tripped), told me how to fix it and I got it all done for free.These people are honest, highly recommend!!!!!

Everyone in this team was extremely competent, honest, and respectful. My home has old wiring incompetently installed - it was a challenge. I will definitely be calling them back should other electrical needs arise.

Electricians (will and cliff) just came over and did a great job putting in a new 40 amp breaker and running a line to my wifes steam generator. These folks are real pros. First, they came in under the estimate. Second, they did a great job. Third, they were incredibly nice to me and my doggies. In short, they have my highest recommendation - honest, fair price, nice people...

We had a new crystal chandelier installed in our new home. Extremely careful and very professional.

I reached out to Carols Electric after having another electrician tell me it would cost $1200-$1600 to replace a circuit.They checked something the other electrician hadnt thought to look at and fixed the problem with 20 minutes and a $30 part, saving me about $1000. Im so glad I got a second opinion. One of them was really cute, too!

There was no fee to come give us an estimate for installing an outlet for an electric car charger. Then, the work was done neatly, on time, and came in less than the estimate.
