Dr Yu is fantastic. Smart, knowing, and an expert at ENT stuff. She listens and puts you at ease. I look forward to every visit. Shes that good! Well, not look forward to. Just...they dont pay her enough!

I went to visit Dr. Yu and she was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond what I have experienced from other doctors in the past. She was very knowledgeable and explained many options to help with my treatment. I would highly recommend her.

Kathy is not only a great surgeon but, she also is compassionate.I have not been able to get Health insurance and I had a rather large lymphoma that would normally only been done in a hospital where there is more equipment, Kathy knowing that this would triple the price did it in the clinic.even though it took much longer than planed she still did not charge me extra.

Office and staff nice. Dr. Yu was great! I appreciate the time she took to explain my exam and the results. She was very helpful in discussing lifestyle changes that might help. I was pleased with my experience.

Ive been seeing Dr Yu for a couple of years now. Would recommend her to any one. Very competent and professional. And the staff are wonderful.

The receptionist and nurse were very extremely friendly. However, Dr. Yu was not as pleasant. Looking back at my visit, it honestly felt like I was bothering her by going to my appointment. She really did not try to diagnose or treat. She asked a few questions and then told me we can run an eng test. She did not explain what the test was or what it will do or determine. She did not really go very far to explain anything. She kind of abruptly got up and left the room. This is not what I expect when I see a doctor. I honestly could have gotten better care from many other doctors. I personally feel that she really didn’t care and couldn’t be bothered. This is not what anyone wants from a doctor.Honest take away: I would try to find a better doctor that explains things to you and tries to help.

Knowledgeable and professional. Dr Yu takes time to educate patients on their health conditions and efficiently provides testing and follow-up care. Notes from visit are immediately documented into chart and available on patient portal.

Knows her stuff, pleasant, efficient. Great experience! Same for receptionist and assistant. All around 1st rate office.

Not happy with the expertise i was given by Dr. Yu. Wen to office on 1/10/19 for a massive lump in tongue. Was sent to Wake Radiology for MRI. Results were tongue mass was negative nothing to report. However the Wake radiology reported 3 swollen lymph nodes in my left shoulder blade area. I was immediately told by Dr. Yu that I may have breast or lung cancer that is the only diagnosis she gave me. Told me to report to Wake radiology for a Mammogram and Chest Xray. I informed Dr. Yu that I have bursitis/arthritis in my left shoulder and I have an appointment with an Orthopedic specialist. She told me to cancel it. My diagnosis could only be breast or lung cancer. I went for my x-ray for chest they came back negative. They wouldnt even do a mammogram because I just had one 3 months previous and have had one every previous year since turning 50 yrs old. X-rays came back negative. I contacted Dr Yu and we had a heated discussion. She insisted I have a biopsy done. I followed her orders, but insisted on seeing someone other than her i was scheduled with UNC radiology for a culture and a biopsy.Went to UNC this past Monday, took 4 hours they reported nothing, no lynmph nodes, no detection nothing. This woman supposedly a specialist not only caused me countless hours of sleep, stress, money and time but she refused to realize that her diagnosis was wrong. i will never go back to her again.

Dr. Yu is absolutely an amazing doctor! I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She did everything to get a quick answer as to why my fiancé had a swollen lymph node for 4 months. The receptionist is also very friendly. Love talking with her while waiting on my fiancé to see the doctor. Just an all around amazing experience. Best doctor Ive seen in my life.

We took our son to see Dr. Yu for an issue with his ear. Everyone in the office was super friendly and Dr. Yu was very courteous and very professional. I would definitely go back there again and would recommend her

I agree with all previous comments, Dr. Yu really is some doctors that you hardly can find in this area. Professional, efficient, care about you and only do what is necessary.

I saw Dr. Yu for a lump that developed in my neck. Being a dentist, I knew it was abnormal and needed attention. Dr. Yu was very professional, kind and patient with me. She performed a painless biopsy, scheduled me for a CT scan and then reviewed the findings with me. She guided me to the decision to have surgery by giving me options, but with enough information to feel comfortable about the decision. I have scheduled the surgery for 3 weeks away, and feel I am in great hands with Dr. Yu. Great, friendly staff and beautiful office!
