Too busy enticing patients to your spa businessAt each appointment, front desk provided list of spa specials and during appointment youd mention that, perhaps, some specific spa treatment might help improve the appearance of medical issue. Such spa treatments are always self-pay, non-insurance covered cosmetic treatments. There is a distinction between a medical practice that offers cosmetic treatments and that of a medical practice suggesting that a patient might want to try a cosmetic treatment &, by the way, there is a business, just next door, that you, a physician, recommends and, oh, there was no mention that you own the spa business or have clear medical oversight of the spa business.I choose to go to a dermatology practice that has openly incorporated costmetic procedures within a medical setting that is recommended by my Duke primary care physician of 10+ years.
